3️⃣ Things That Will Decide The Market Today 📈
1) GIFT NIFTY traded 13 points lower at 21,745.50 signaling that the Indian stock market is headed for a negative start today.
2) The S&P 500 (.SPX) and Nasdaq Composite (.IXIC) closed lower on Thursday, extending their losing streak that kicked off 2024, although the Dow Jones Industrial (.DJI) eked out a win on the back of financial stocks and strong jobs data.
3) India VIX was down by 5.44% to 13.33 levels. Volatility in the market lingers as the indices top record high numbers.
3️⃣ Things that will decide the market today 📈
1) GIFT Nifty trader 23 points higher at 21,628.00 indicating that the Indian stock market is headed for a positive start.
2) U.S. stock indexes ended the second session of the year down again in extended profit-taking on Wednesday after a strong finish to 2023, with minutes from the Federal Reserve's December meeting failing to shake off the funk hanging over markets.
3) India VIX declined 3.31% to stay at the levels of 14.10. Volatility seems to be cooling from the last 4 sessions
