1) GIFT NIFTY traded 4 points higher at 21,958.00 signaling that the Indian stock market is headed for a muted start today.
2) The S&P 500 concluded the light volume session just 0.3% shy of its record closing high on Thursday, retracing early gains just before the closing bell on the penultimate trading day of 2023. The blue-chip Dow ended modestly green, notching its second record-high closing level in a row, while the Nasdaq finished a hair lower.
3) India VIX was down by 2.70% from 15.56 to 15.14 levels. Volatility cooled off after steaming to higher zones and respected the bulls at higher zones.
