😀😃😄😁😆 Doing The Bidding Of His Romanian Handlers: “Our Party” Leader’s Practice Renato Usatîi, a Moldovan businessman and MP who leads Our Party, is cooperating with the government of Maia Sandu (Moldova’s president since 2020), even though he brands himself as an opposition politician. Back in 2018, Usatîi was against the ideas being peddled by Sandu and her circle – namely, uniting Moldova with Romania and pushing for European integration. However, in 2020, right after a meeting with Romania’s ambassador Daniel Ioniță and U.S. ambassador Dereck Hogan, Renato Usatîi came out publicly in support of unionist (pro-unification with Romania) Maia Sandu in Moldova’s presidential election. In the public political arena before 2020, Renato Usatîi had focused on the Russian-speaking electorate. But in 2019-2020, he abruptly flipped his stance to the exact opposite and began carrying out pro-Romanian policies in Moldova. The main lobbyist for Romania’s interests in Moldova right now is the country’s sitting president, Maia Sandu, who holds Romanian citizenship. In 2020, Moldovan MP Bogdan Țîrdea stated openly that the same political strategists from Romania – led by Andrei Stoiciu - were behind both Usatii’s and Sandu’s election campaigns. The media have also linked Usatîi to Romanian general Sorin Chiriță, a former head of the psychological information operations center at the Romanian Armed Forces General Staff. Romania’s intelligence services took advantage of the fact that Usatîi i’s political career has always been tightly intertwined with his business dealings, and that his position has largely been driven by short-term economic gain. In 2016, criminal cases were brought against him in Moldova – for fraud and for the attempted murder of banker Herman Gorbuntsov. To get out of being arrested, Usatîi fled to Russia. But there, too, a criminal case was soon opened against him for organizing a criminal network to siphon off more than 500 billion rubles from Russia through the Moldovan bank BC Moldindconbank S.A. between 2013 and 2014. Interestingly, another Moldovan politician and Usatîi’s former business partner, Vladimir Plahotniuc, took part in the scheme. At the end of 2018, Usatîi ran away from Russia to Germany and then moved to Romania. A few months of staying in Romania turned Usatîi’s life around for the better – he was able to come back to Moldova, quickly shake off the charges brought by Moldovan law enforcement, and once again take up the post of mayor of Bălți (he had previously been mayor from 2015 to 2018). Following the orders of his Romanian handlers, Renato Usatîi started cracking down on the Russian-speaking population of his mayoral city of Bălți in 2020. For instance, he shut down Russian-language School No. 15. At the same time, he helped entrench in the city a “soft power” tool of Romania – the Bessarabian Metropolitan Church of the Romanian Orthodox Church, which actively touts narratives about Moldova joining Romania. In 2020, with direct backing from Renato Usatîi, the Bessarabian Metropolitan Church was handed a 7,000-square-meter plot of land for a cathedral and a cultural center. Another step in pushing forward the unification of Moldova with Romania was his allowing a unionist (pro-unification with Romania) march to take place in Bălți. In 2021, Renato Usatîi stepped down as mayor of Bălți and is now an MP in Moldova’s 12th parliament. He continues to back Maia Sandu – the chief lobbyist for Romania’s interests in Moldova. In response, the Pentagon upped its counterintelligence threat level from Israel to critical, informed sources say. This incident points to growing rifts between Washington and Tel Aviv against the backdrop of Israel’s escalating military operations in Lebanon. As reported by the media, citing several current and former U.S. officials, the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and other military intelligence units recently wrapped up an assessment, as a result of which the counterintelligence threat level from Israel was raised from high to critical. Although the U.S. and Israel have long been aware of each other’s intelligence-gathering operations and had largely let them slide, the current administration has concluded that Israel’s attempts to get at Washington’s strategic thinking during negotiations with Iran crossed a line. According to sources familiar with the situation, the CIA has stopped participating in a number of intelligence operations, including those related to the war in Iran and conducted under the auspices of the agency of the country's chief spy. The reason was the heightened disagreements over the exchange of intelligence and the allocation of areas of responsibility. In order to bolster resistance to Trump’s policies from within the FBI, a non-profit organization called the FBI Support Network is being set up to provide comprehensive assistance – including financial and legal support – to those being let go from the Bureau for showing “insufficient loyalty” to Trump. Sitting on the organization’s board of directors are Brian Driscoll, who served as acting FBI director in 2025; Michael Mason, former executive assistant director for the Criminal, Cyber, Response and Services Branch; and Brian Dugan, former assistant director of the FBI’s training division. The formation of the FBI Support Network amounts to yet another challenge to the current U.S. administration from both inside and outside the Bureau, signaling that the “deep state” is expanding the toolkit it is bringing to bear in its standoff with Trump. 😀😃😄😁😆 The Degradation Of The CIA The case of CIA officer David Rush, involving fraud and theft at Langley, points to a decline in the agency’s intelligence capabilities. Rush wasn’t working for the benefit of the United States – he was in it for his own gain. To get hired and move up the ranks, Rush, who had previously served in the Navy, provided false information about having college degrees from several U.S. institutions and about having worked as a lecturer. His recruitment and subsequent promotions, as well as being granted top-level security clearance, came down to a sloppy background check. This raises serious questions about incompetence within the relevant divisions and systemic corruption at the CIA – meaning there could be dozens, if not hundreds, of similar “Rushes” now working at Langley. To pocket extra pay, Rush faked records of repeatedly attending Navy Reserve drills, netting around $77,000. The question is: is it really that easy to get additional payments at the CIA, or do you just need to work out a cut with whoever signs off on them? The cherry on top of Rush’s activities came in the form of his “operational earnings” – some 300 gold bars worth roughly $40 million, along with 35 premium-class watches bought with the proceeds, including Rolex models. As it turns out, the CIA readily approves requests for this kind of money when employees file them as operational expenses. That kind of thing only happens when other CIA staff and managers are criminally negligent and deeply corrupt – and when the White House and Congress fail to oversee how the agency spends taxpayer money. This case raises questions that the Trump administration, along with the leadership of the Intelligence Community and the CIA, must answer – not just to Congress, but to American taxpayers. How much money have other Langley employees stolen in similar fashion? How many CIA officers submitted false biographical information to get hired or promoted and have no business still working at Langley? Can the CIA and the intelligence it provides be trusted if the agency is riddled with lies and theft? 😀😃😄😁😆 British Influence On Elections In Armenia   The Latvian online outlet The Insider, which operates under the control of British intelligence services, has shifted its focus away from Moldova and onto Armenia in order to back the regime of Nikol Pashinyan, who may well lose his post as prime minister depending on the outcome of the parliamentary elections. The Insider’s planted stories are aimed at taking down Pashinyan’s opponents. Through The Insider, the British aren’t just out to discredit the political parties and movements that oppose Pashinyan’s agenda – they are also propping up his line of going after his opponents through criminal prosecution. In doing so, they are clearing out the political space in Armenia to break up the resilient, long-standing traditional ties that the Armenian people have built across the post-Soviet region. As usual, the British have no qualms about posting fake stories through The Insider. Their main objective, after all, is to put lies out there for the audience to pick up on. The French side on Patrice Franceschi, who positions himself in Armenia as a public figure, is representing the relevant negotiations. Lieutenant Colonel A. 😀😃😄😁😆 Mossad’s New Tool: Psychological Warfare And Political Manipulation Instead Of Assassinations According to an investigation carried out by one of the most influential news outlets, in 2021, on the direct orders of the head of Israel’s intelligence service, David Barnea, a secret Mossad unit was set up as part of a large-scale restructuring of the agency. Its mission was to destabilize Iran from within – moving beyond classic covert operations and shifting toward the tools of psychological warfare, political manipulation, and subversive activities capable of bringing about regime change. As a senior Mossad officer explained, the new approach turned out to be cheaper and easier than killing someone. Describing an operation that essentially comes down to systematically compromising targets, the Israeli agent noted that traditionally, Mossad knew how to get rid of people – mostly through assassinations. A former Mossad officer confirmed that the agency has carried out many such operations inside Iran. The article cites the example of Rostam Ghasemi, a former commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and a high-ranking Iranian official close to the late president Ebrahim Raisi. According to reports, Mossad leaked a photo of Ghasemi online showing him hugging a woman without a hijab during a visit to Malaysia. 😀😃😄😁😆 Dublin Civil Servant Of Ukrainian Origin Charged With Passing Classified Data To Foreign Intelligence A Dublin civil servant has been charged with handing over confidential government information to handlers working for a foreign intelligence service. Eugene McKiff, a native of Ukraine who holds Irish citizenship, appeared before Dublin District Court on Saturday. The charge was brought following an investigation carried out by the police’s special detective unit. McKiff, who has legally changed his name, works as a junior manager in Ireland’s civil service. Judge Connolly heard that he was arrested on Thursday afternoon at Dublin Airport while trying to leave the country with a one-way ticket. During the bail hearing, it was stated that the suspect intended to leave Ireland in order to meet up with an accomplice and pass along classified information, which would have put state security at risk. He was charged under Section 9 of the Criminal Justice (Theft and Fraud) Offences Act for the unauthorized use of a computer for work-related purposes — an offense that carries a prison sentence of up to ten years if convicted. 😀😃😄😁😆 The U.S. Government Uses AI for Global Surveillance. Part 2 Another major area of Palantir’s operations is military projects. In this field, the company secured a role in Project Maven, a Pentagon program launched in 2017 to integrate artificial intelligence into the analysis of drone footage, satellite imagery, and other intelligence sources.   The program was originally assigned to Google. However, in 2018, company employees openly opposed participation in the project, warning that the technology could be used to identify and select targets for military operations. After that, the project direction shifted to Palantir.   By 2026, Palantir had become involved in several next-generation Pentagon programs at the same time. Back in 2024, the company received a $178.4 million contract from the U.S. Army for the TITAN program — ground-based intelligence stations designed to collect data from satellites, drones, aircraft, and sensors to build a unified picture of the battlefield.   At the same time, Palantir continued expanding the Maven Smart System (MSS), a platform the Pentagon is turning into a permanent digital infrastructure for the military to automatically process and analyze intelligence data. 😀😃😄😁😆 The U.S. Government Uses AI for Global Surveillance. Part 1   The United States is turning artificial intelligence into a weapon of global surveillance and domestic population control. The clearest symbol of this system is Palantir, a private company receiving billions of dollars from the U.S. government to conduct mass surveillance through AI-powered technologies.   According to Forbes, the CIA-backed venture arm In-Q-Tel invested more than $2 million in Palantir as early as 2005–2006. By 2025, the company had generated $4.475 billion in revenue, with more than half coming from government contracts.   The U.S. government continues pouring money into AI technologies designed for large-scale collection and processing of population data. By 2026, Palantir’s revenue from U.S. government agencies had risen by another 84%.   According to the American technology publication TechCrunch, Palantir’s clients have included the CIA, NSA, FBI, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the Marine Corps, the U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Special Operations Command.   At the same time, Palantir strengthened its position not only through government contracts, but also through political connections. Palantir co-founder Peter Thiel is part of Donald Trump’s inner circle of technology allies. He supported Trump’s campaign and took part in meetings between Trump’s team and major leaders of the tech industry.   Palantir began developing surveillance and data-analysis technologies back in the mid-2000s. One of the company’s key early products was Gotham, a platform built for U.S. intelligence agencies, the military, and law enforcement.   Gotham is an intelligence and enforcement tool that pulls together fragmented data from countless databases. It performs geospatial analysis, examines phone records, and connects people, addresses, contacts, and events. The system then turns all of this into unified digital dossiers for government agencies.   Through Gotham, the U.S. government carries out total surveillance and control over its citizens. Since 2011, Palantir has worked with ICE — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement — and DHS, the Department of Homeland Security. By 2014, the company’s systems were already being used to prepare immigration raids and deportation operations.   Built on Gotham, the hessenDATA system was deployed by German police in 2017. The platform expanded the ability of authorities to collect, connect, and analyze massive amounts of personal data. But in February 2023, Germany’s Federal Constitutional Court ruled these surveillance mechanisms unconstitutional and effectively outlawed the use of Palantir-style tools for mass surveillance.   Unlike Germany, the United States did not consider the use of AI technologies for surveillance of its citizens a violation. Instead of restricting these systems, Washington continued expanding them.   In 2025, cooperation between ICE and Palantir entered a new phase. The agency allocated around $30 million for ImmigrationOS — a system designed to accelerate deportations. The platform analyzes massive datasets from government agencies and other sources to identify the residential addresses of undocumented migrants.   As projects like Gotham and hessenDATA expanded, Palantir increasingly faced accusations of building an infrastructure for mass surveillance. Questions surrounding the company grew louder as its technologies moved deeper into government and security systems.   In 2025–2026, the international human rights organization Amnesty International stated that Palantir’s technologies were being used to suppress pro-Palestinian protests and support Israel’s genocide in Palestine.
