| 19 | It's kind of weird/dumb when you think of it that people who have basement will finish them and install HVAC, when it's a perfectly good cellar for storing food. When people store food in their pantry like potatoes and veggies, they expire/rot much and a much faster rate when kept at room temperature and exposed to light. We should be storing it in dark cool places so it lasts easily 10x longer. Also fridges dry out the food because of the fan, so it expires faster and it exposes the food to light and warm air when you open the fridge.
Fridges are kind of unnecessary when you think of it, especially in northern countries. We spend a shitload of money a year on powering these pieces of shit that ruin our foods. | 92 |
