| 11 |  🇴🇲Oman launches mandatory national Bitcoin mining pool
Oman has taken one of the boldest steps by any government to regulate Bitcoin mining. The Sultanate has launched a mandatory national mining pool that all licensed operators are required to join.
The pool, Omanhash, was initiated by Oman’s Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology in cooperation with local blockchain company Frontier Technologies LLC. The technology platform and liquidity infrastructure were developed by Enegix Global.
It is now the official and only mandatory national cryptocurrency mining pool for all licensed mining companies in Oman.

In recent months, we’ve seen growing interest from both private miners and large-scale players in heat utilization from Bitcoin mining. And it makes perfect sense — smart use of waste heat can significantly increase the overall profitability of a mining project.
Today, we’re taking a closer look at one of the most advanced lines for heat recovery — the Whatsminer M7X Series.
Special attention should be paid to the model index (A, B, or D). Many miners underestimate it, even though this letter directly determines how effectively you can utilize the generated heat.
MicroBT encoded the key parameter in the last letter of the M7X series — the maximum outlet water temperature. This single parameter largely determines where you can direct the heat.
Let’s break down each model based on official data from MicroBT manuals.

🔣Hashrate: 500–552 TH/s
🔣Efficiency: 13.5 J/T
🔣Power Consumption: 7200 W / up to 10 kW
Key Features: Inlet water up to 60°C. 90°C outlet temperature enables direct use for radiators, central heating systems, and domestic hot water (DHW). Heat recovery efficiency ≈ 100%
SUMMARY:
M7D — Mine + Cool
M7A — Mine + Heat Water
M7B — Mine + Heat Your Building
Key Point:
M7AS and M7BS have identical hashrate and efficiency. The main difference lies in heat monetization. If you can utilize 90°C hot water, the M7BS pays off significantly faster.

| 14 |  🪙 Bitcoin mining difficulty dropped by 10.09%
This is one of the sharpest declines of 2026. The difficulty has now hit its lowest point since the start of the year — 124.93 T.
The drop is tied to Bitcoin's price decline in early June, which caused some miners to shut down their equipment and pushed the network hashrate lower.
For miners, this is good news: at the same hashrate, rigs are now producing more BTC. The average cost to mine one Bitcoin has dropped to the $77K–$84K range.
