Happy Reformation Day, everyone! ✝️
509 years ago, on October 31, 1517, Martin Luther published his famous 95 Theses, challenging the practices and teachings of the Catholic Church, particularly the sale of indulgences.
At a time when many people had limited access to the Bible in their own languages, the Church's practice of selling indulgences exploited people's fears and lack of biblical knowledge, making people believe that salvation could be bought with money.
Luther's actions helped spark the Protestant Reformation, bringing the debate over Scripture, grace, faith, and salvation to the forefront.
Sola Scriptura. Sola Fide. Sola Gratia. Solus Christus. Soli Deo Gloria.
Happy Reformation Day! 🔥

Most people, when they find out I'm a Calvinist, react as if they've just been struck by lightning. Instead of asking questions or engaging in a logical discussion, they become emotional, lose sight of reason, and throw out whatever their emotions happen to bring to mind.
Honestly, it makes engaging in these debates rather unattractive. What I find particularly interesting is that many people strongly oppose Calvinism without even knowing who John Calvin was or understanding his theology. They simply follow Arminian doctrines, often without having taken the time to understand them either.
I have no problem with disagreement. What I value is an honest, thoughtful, and intellectually consistent discussion rather than an emotional reaction to a theological label. @RobelVision

Yesterday, I had the honor of speaking at Ahmannes at AASTU about NASA's Space Apps Challenge and the future of space science. What inspired me most was remembering how our first Yuri's Night Ethiopia continues to ripple in people's lives. Seeing students remember it, ask questions, and pursue their own aerospace projects reminded me that one event can spark something way bigger than we expect. From Ahmannes' passion to Hammer Spacecraft's dedication, they even launch rocket, I see Ethiopia's next chapter in space being built by people who dare to dream and do the work. I left more inspired than I came, even more committed to do everything I can, whenever I can, for science and technology in Ethiopia. Let's inspire not only the next generation, but the generation that inspires what's next.

I didn't know Yuri Night Ethiopia was this much inspirational

Good design starts with a pause. So I paused, gathered every front-end project I’ve built, and gave them a home. Portfolio coming soon. @RobelVision
