Ethiopians are truly brave people. 🇪🇹❤️
እማማ ኢትዮጵያ
It would be a disservice not to honor the real heroes of our country. During my military training with the Ethiopian Air Force, I heard countless stories that most people have never been told. It made me realize that one reason patriotism has faded among many of the younger generation is because we don't truly know our history. The history we're often exposed to is incomplete and usually focuses only on the negative. We should also remember the courage, sacrifice, and remarkable achievements of those who came before us.
Bella ciao
Bella ciao
Ciao is also Ethiopian song. ❤️🇪🇹🇪🇹

Most of us especially when we were kids in corona lock down time have watched the movie called money heist. Most of us have a special appreciation for the professor who planned it all. The movie has this special song Bella Ciao Bella Ciao Ciao. Do you know the origin of the song and its relation to Ethiopian Unsang Hero ... Here is the story we all know how colonel Abdisa aga escaped from Italy prison right during the Ethio fascist Italy war (we will talk abt his escape some another time).After escaping a concentration camp in Sicily with a Yugoslav captain named Julio, he led an allied, multi-national group of former prisoners and local resistance fighters operating on Italian soil called Partisans fighting Mussolini. Mind Blowing right. Like other armies they have a brave song like any other armies guess what it is Bella Ciao . whattt ??? I know I was surprised when I learn abt it either. @RobelVision
Just to clear up some confusion, Space X AI Research Cohort is not affiliated with Elon Musk's SpaceX or X (formerly Twitter). It is an independent international AI research cohort that brings together researchers from around the world to collaborate on advanced AI research. I'm honored to be the only participant representing Ethiopia in this cohort.

THE STRONG ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY
“If we judge as good and evil only the things in the power of our own choice, then there is no room left for blaming gods or being hostile to others.”
—MARCUS AURELIUS, MEDITATIONS, 6.41
As the president of our own lives and knowing that our powers begin and end with our reasoned choice we would do well to internalize this same attitude. We don’t control things outside that sphere, but we do control our attitudes and our responses to those events and that’s plenty. It’s enough that we go into each and every day knowing that there is no one to pass the buck to. It ends with us.

Tip abt #research
One of the biggest lessons I learned during the Space × AI Research Cohort and while working on space research papers is that research is supposed to be confusing. You choose a topic, write the title, and then suddenly you're stuck, wondering where to start, what to read, or how to solve the problem. That feeling isn't a sign you're doing it wrong it's part of the process.
Research pushes you to read more, search deeper, think critically, and connect ideas until you find your own answers. More than memorizing theory, it teaches you how to learn. So don't be afraid to start with nothing. Most of the time, a laptop, an internet connection, curiosity, and persistence are all you need. 🚀

To conclude the story
Argentina entered its final second-round match against Peru knowing exactly what was required: win by four goals and reach the final ahead of Brazil. They didn't need to guess. They knew the target before the match even kicked off. In a tournament that claimed to be fair, one team had an enormous psychological advantage.
And then came the impossible.
Argentina won 6–0.
Not 1–0. Not 2–0. Six.
Exactly the kind of result they needed to erase Brazil's advantage.
Then there are the stories everyone tries to dismiss.
Rumors of grain shipments.
Rumors of financial agreements.
Rumors of political deals between governments.
Rumors that the Argentine dictatorship used diplomacy, economic leverage, and political influence to ensure Peru would not stand in its way.
Some of the rumors even admitted by the goverment of peru.
The dictatorship had everything to gain.
A World Cup victory transformed the country's image overnight. Instead of international headlines about disappearances and torture, newspapers celebrated football. National pride replaced criticism. The government stood beside the trophy while the world applauded.
Some times things we ought to love may become a weapon to control us.

In 1978, Argentina wasn't just hosting the World Cup. It was ruled by a military junta desperate to reshape its image. While thousands of people were disappearing, imprisoned, and tortured, the regime needed something bigger than politics. It needed a national triumph that would unite the country, dominate international headlines, and convince the world that Argentina was strong, stable, and victorious. Well thy didn't go anywhere but football which was like religion for the people of Argentina. @RobelVision

Argentina’s economic crisis is one of the longest-running economic problems in modern history. It is a combination of high inflation, debt problems, currency instability, low investor confidence, and repeated financial crises.
At the beginning of the 20th century, Argentina was among the wealthiest countries in the world because of:
fertile agricultural land,
strong exports (especially beef and grain),
European investment and immigration.
Now Ethiopian Birr has 3 times the capacity to buy than the Argentina currency.

@RobelVision
If Argentina is not going to bring the trophy to their country the goverment is gonna collapse due to so many issues. In Argentina football is a religion if u cingrol that u control the people.

Yep like colassium football is a political tool to control 🫵🫵.

Great progress has been made on the development of the SATISH Decision Support System (DSS) prototype. I implemented a CubeSat telemetry simulation environment, intelligent severity assessment, AI-assisted decision reasoning, a full-stack monitoring dashboard, and an autonomous decision pipeline that transforms spacecraft data into actionable responses.
My next step is integration and validation stage, where I am focusing on testing different operational scenarios, improving reliability, and preparing the architecture for future advancements in autonomous spacecraft decision making.
@RobelVision
Before shabbat I need to finish one from the project am working on.
I will be contributing to the development of an autonomous decision making layer for a CubeSat system. My focus is on exploring intelligent spacecraft autonomy, where AI based models can support real time decision making and improve system resilience in challenging operational environments.
@RobelVision
For newcomers, let me introduce myself.
My name is Robel. I am an Aircraft Maintenance Trainee at Ethiopian Aviation by day and a coder by night. I am also a Yuri's Night Global member and the Ethiopia Ambassador, a member of the SGAC Small Satellite Group, and the Technical Team Lead for the SpaceXAI Research Cohort, contributing to several research papers.
I am currently working on CubeSat research to solve the challenges encountered by satellites, especially those in low Earth orbit (LEO). I also conduct independent research on the integration of AI into aircraft systems, and I plan to become more involved in both hardware and software integration. I want to be a bridge between aviation, artificial intelligence, and space technology.
In Ethiopia, my friends and I are working on many initiatives, especially projects that are well known in other parts of the world but have not yet reached Ethiopia. I brought Yuri's Night Global to Ethiopia for the first time, and it was an amazing experience. I am now working to bring more internationally recognized projects and organizations to Ethiopia.
I am a Calvinist Christian, a Stoic, and pro-Israel. I love reading books, especially on history and philosophy. I enjoy meaningful discussions, particularly about history, philosophy, and technology.
My hero is me after 5 years. Am the admirer of Elon Musk, MalcomX and Agora hypatia. From Ethiopia Emperor Tewodross.
Welcome to Enlightenment.

Something exciting is on the horizon.
The Yuri's Night Ethiopia organizing team and I have been working on something new, and we can't wait to share it with you.
Stay tuned. 🚀
