🇸🇩🇪🇬⚡- In an unprecedented move, Egypt carried out multiple drone strikes on the al-Ogaidat and al-Ansari gold mines in the River Nile region of northeast Sudan. The area is well under the control of the Sudanese Armed Forces and has never been threatened by the Rapid Support Forces. The mines are located near the disputed Halaib Triangle, but within Sudan's territory. Several dozen miners and civilians were killed in the Egyptian attacks.
