FOMC Verdict: What Actually Happened.
Warsh’s first FOMC meeting just delivered the worst-case scenario for crypto.
The Fed held rates at 3.50–3.75% as expected. But the dot plot delivered the hawkish surprise markets feared: 9 of 18 members now project at least one rate hike before year-end 2026, and 6 project two hikes. The Fed raised its PCE inflation forecast to 3.6%, up sharply from 2.7% in March.
Warsh eliminated forward guidance entirely, calling for a shorter, cleaner statement focused only on data, markets lost the dovish language anchor they were counting on.
Remember what I explained two days ago about “removing easing language”?
That’s exactly what happened. Almost word for word.
Bitcoin tested $63,000 support, breaking below the $64,350 level that had held pre-FOMC.
This is why understanding the mechanism matters more than predicting the outcome.

@binance released its 43rd Proof of Reserves (snapshot date: June 1), disclosing the following:
Users $BTC assets totaled approximately 630,000 $BTC, an increase of 4.26% (25,838 $BTC) compared to 1st May.
Users' $ETH assets totaled approximately 4.14 million $ETH, an increase of 10.17% (382,619 $ETH).
Users' USDT assets totaled approximately 3.43 billion USDT, a decrease of 1.33% (approximately 46 million USDT).

Tether has announced the gradual closure of aUSDT, its gold-backed over-collateralized stablecoin launched in 2024.
Why?
