🇪🇬 Egyptian government resigns; El-Sisi instructs prime minister to form new cabinet According to the president’s office, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly submitted the government’s resignation to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi during a meeting on Monday.

"The president has instructed Madbouly to form a new government of people with competence and experience," the office said in a statement.

In early April, El-Sisi began his third term as president of Egypt. Madbouly has served as prime minister since 2018. According to the law, after the election of a new president of the country, the government must resign in order to form a new one. 🇺🇸 US actor George Clooney issued a statement in which he asserted that his foundation did not intend to prosecute Russian journalists in Europe According to Clooney, an employee of his foundation expressed herself incorrectly, and the organization does not persecute journalists, even if it does not agree with them. 🇲🇽 Candidate from Mexico’s ruling Morena party, Claudia Sheinbaum, gains 58.4% in presidential election Her rival from the opposition coalition Strength and Heart for Mexico Xochitl Galvez got 30.4%, National Election Institute said after processing ballots from 7,500 precincts. Sheinbaum has also already announced her victory and said that her competitors have already called her with congratulations.

"According to the preliminary results that were published by the National Electoral Institute, the lead in the race for the presidency of the republic exceeds 30%.
