Sulaymān ibn Buayda narrated on the authority of his father that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ used to teach them when they went out to the graveyard:
السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلَ الدِّيَارِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمِينَ، وَإِنَّا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ بِكُمْ لَاحِقُونَ، نَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ لَنَا وَلَكُمُ الْعَافِيَةَ
[As-salāmu ʿalaykum ahla d-diyāri mina l-muʾminīna wa-l-muslimīn, wa innā in shāʾa Allāhu bikum lāḥiqūn, nasʾalu Allāha lanā wa lakumu l-ʿāfiyah]
"Peace be upon you, people of this abode, from among the believers and those who are Muslims, and we, by the Will of Allāh, shall be joining you. I ask Allah to grant us and you well-being."

The Muʾadhdhin of Masjid al-Ḥarām, Shaykh ʾIbrāhīm Al-Madanī, passed away in the early hours of Monday 11th Rabīʿ ath-Thānī [21st of September].
Shaykh ʾIbrāhīm Al-Madanī was born in Madīnah in 1397 AH, where he began his journey to become a Muʾadhdhin at the age of 15. He was formally appointed to perform the ʾAdhān in the Holy Masjid in 1439 AH. He performed his final ʾAdhān over a month ago.
His funeral prayer was held after Asr ṣalāḥ at the Masjid al-Ḥarām.

NFL star Azeez Al-Shaair wore eye tape in tribute to Wafaa Akila, an 8 year-old girl who was killed earlier this month in a targeted airstrike by Isr*eli forces while returning home with her father after her first day of school.
Last week, Al-Shaair was fined $11,492 by the NFL after wearing eye tape in tribute to 5 year-old Hind Rajab, who was also killed by Isr*eli occupation forces.
