[As-salāmu ʿalaykum ahla d-diyāri mina l-muʾminīna wa-l-muslimīn, wa innā in shāʾa Allāhu bikum lāḥiqūn, nasʾalu Allāha lanā wa lakumu l-ʿāfiyah]
"Peace be upon you, people of this abode, from among the believers and those who are Muslims, and we, by the Will of Allāh, shall be joining you. I ask Allah to grant us and you well-being."

| 19 |  The Muʾadhdhin of Masjid al-Ḥarām, Shaykh ʾIbrāhīm Al-Madanī, passed away in the early hours of Monday 11th Rabīʿ ath-Thānī [21st of September].
Shaykh ʾIbrāhīm Al-Madanī was born in Madīnah in 1397 AH, where he began his journey to become a Muʾadhdhin at the age of 15. He was formally appointed to perform the ʾAdhān in the Holy Masjid in 1439 AH. He performed his final ʾAdhān over a month ago.
