Abū Ayyūb al-Anṣārī رضي الله عنه reported that Allāh's Messenger ﷺ said: If you were not to commit sins, Allah would have swept you out of existence and would have replaced you by another people who have committed sin, and then asked forgiveness from Allah, and He would have granted them pardon. [Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2748b]

🇩🇿 Pray for Algeria. Devastating wildfires are sweeping across northeastern Algeria, with Jijel, Béjaïa and Tizi Ouzou among the worst-affected areas. At least 12 people have been killed and 54 injured, while more than 150 fires have been reported across the region. Homes, forests and livelihoods have been destroyed, as firefighters continue battling the flames. May Allāh protect the people of Algeria, grant mercy to those who have lost their lives, and bring safety to everyone affected. 🤲🇩🇿 Keep Algeria in your duʿāʾ.

Indeed, Allāh showers His blessings upon the Prophet, and His angels pray for him. O believers! Invoke Allāh’s blessings upon him, and salute him with worthy greetings of peace. [Sūrah al-ʾAḥzāb, Verse 56]

Surely for Muslim men and women, believing men and women, devout men and women, truthful men and women, patient men and women, humble men and women, charitable men and women, fasting men and women, men and women who guard their chastity, and men and women who remember Allāh often - for all of them Allāh has prepared forgiveness and a great reward. Simple words that are easy to recite daily. Keep the remembrance of Allāh moist on your tongue. سبحان الله SubḥānAllāh الحمد لله Alḥamdulillāh لا اله الا الله Lā ʾilāha ʾillā llāh الله اكبر Allāhu Akbar لا حول ولاقوة إلا بالله Lā ḥawla wa-lā quwwata ʾillā bi-llāh

Seek Allāh’s help and be patient. Indeed, the earth belongs to Allāh alone. He grants it to whoever He chooses of His servants. The ultimate outcome belongs only to the righteous. [Sūrah al-ʾAʿrāf, Verse 128]

One year ago today, the Isr*eli occupation carried out a deadly ‘double-tap’ strike on Al-Nasser Hospital in Gaza, killing 22 people, including five journalists. The journalists were there to document the war and provide live, independent reporting from inside Gaza. With Isr*el restricting foreign journalists from entering Gaza, journalists working for international outlets have been essential to documenting what is happening on the ground. Isr*el claimed it was targeting a ‘Hamas’ surveillance camera. But a Reuters investigation, which reviewed more than 100 videos and photos and interviewed more than two dozen people, found that the camera belonged to journalist Hussam al-Masri and found evidence contradicting Isr*el’s account. The second strike then hit as journalists and rescuers gathered around the victims of the first. Isr*el said it would investigate itself. But this is the pattern: commit war crimes, announce an internal investigation, and then provide little or no meaningful accountability.

Jubayr ibn Muṭʿim reported on the authority of his father that he heard Allāh's Messenger ﷺ as saying: “I have many names: I am Muḥammad and I am Aḥmad, and I am al-Māḥi (the obliterator) by whom unbelief would be obliterated, and I am Ḥashir (the gatherer) at whose feet mankind will be gathered, and I am ʿAqib (the last to come) after whom there will be no Prophet.” [Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2354b]

رب إني لما أنزلت إلي من خير فقير [Rabbi innī limā anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqīr] My Lord! I am indeed needy of whatever good You may send to me

Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه reported Allāh's Messenger ﷺ as saying that Allāh, the Exalted and Glorious, thus stated: “I am near to the thought of My servant as he thinks about Me, and I am with him as he remembers Me. And if he remembers Me in his heart, I also remember him in My Heart, and if he remembers Me in assembly I remember him in assembly, better than his (remembrance), and if he draws near Me by the span of a palm, I draw near him by the cubit, and if he draws near Me by the cubit I draw near him by the space (covered by) two hands. And if he walks towards Me, I rush towards him.” [Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2675a]

Jake Lang, a far-right troublemaker was punched in the face by Spiderman during a hate rally. Lang, who has previously attempted to cause trouble by burning copies of the Qurʾān publicly, held a racist rally in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was punched in the face by Spiderman whilst he was holding a placard that read: 'Jake Lang loves black people, he hates n*****s' Jake was arrested by police for causing a riot.

Reminder: Tomorrow is Monday. The Prophet ﷺ used to fast on Mondays. Abū Qatāda al-Anṣārī رضي الله عنه reported that Allāh's Messenger ﷺ was asked about fasting on Monday, whereupon he said: It is (the day) when I was born and revelation was sent down to me. [Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1162e]

He is the One Who sent down tranquillity upon the hearts of the believers so that they may increase even more in their faith. To Allah alone belong the forces of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. [Sūrah al-Fatḥ, Verse 4]
