The diagram illustrates the process used to treat raw water before it is supplied for domestic consumption.
Overall, water undergoes a ten-stage treatment process, beginning with the collection of raw water through intake screens and ending with its distribution through household taps. Throughout the process, the water is screened, chemically treated, allowed to settle, filtered, disinfected, and finally pumped into the supply system.
🔤🔤🔤🔤 ➖🔤: At the outset, water is drawn from a natural source and passes through intake screens, which remove large pieces of debris. It is then transported by pumps to a flash mixing chamber, where polyaluminium chloride and oxidants are added. Following this, the water enters the flocculation stage, during which suspended particles combine to form larger clumps. These heavier impurities subsequently settle at the bottom of a settling basin, leaving the upper layer considerably clearer.
🔤🔤🔤🔤 ➖ 🔤: The partially purified water is then treated with chlorine before flowing through a filter membrane consisting of several layers of filtering material that remove the remaining fine particles. After filtration, the water undergoes a final disinfection stage, where chlorine, lime (or sodium hydroxide), and fluoride are introduced to eliminate microorganisms, adjust the water's pH, and improve its quality. In the final stage, the treated water is pumped into the distribution network and is ultimately delivered to consumers through household faucets.

| 14 | Not gonna lie, most students have absolutely no idea how much work/studying is actually required to level up linguistically. To make it worse, social media has ruined the concept of hard work. There is absolutely nothing romantic about studying hard. There is no background music. There is no aesthetic desk setup that magically makes it easier. There is no moment where it suddenly feels good. It's just you, exhausted and most likely depressed, staring at the same paragraph for like the fourth time, at midnight, questioning everything and doing it anyway.
To me (at least), that’s pure hard work - unglamorous, uncomfortable. I mean yeah, you basically feel like you’re eating broken pieces of glass. Yet it is the only way.
