It’s confirmed. Elon Musk’s wealth hit 1 trillion and 110 billion dollars. Let me give you this in numbers: The unc has 1,110,000,000,000 dollars. Holy moly.

I wish I had realized sooner that not every student will connect with my teaching style as they are just different as individuals – and that’s okay.

I bet ancient philosophers would’ve been social media addicts. After all, many of them spent their days wandering around public spaces sharing opinions with complete strangers, which is essentially social media without Wi-Fi. Socrates would probably post endless polls asking, “What is justice?” and then reply “Are you sure?” to every answer. And of course, Marcus Aurelius. The man, the freaking powerhouse of stoicism would log in to Instagram, and quietly log off after seeing so many unholy things. I can even imagine him addinga new chapter to his book: Meditations, Book 13: On Why I Deleted Instagram. 😄 Oh man, I’m creating fake scenarios in my head again. I gotta get some sleep. @IzzatAbdullaev

📖 Okay so, I just finished Seneca’s on the shortness of life in one sitting thanks to the copious amounts of coffee & steak I’ve devoured yesterday. (And yes, my lord/lady, I pulled an all-nighter) 🗽 What actually blows my mind is this guy basically wrote this banger of a book 2000 thousands years ago probably in his bathroom robe. 🤩 Seneca keeps pulling this one string: the preoccupied, the busy people who look productive but never actually live. They’re too trapped in other people’s demands. 🕯Finished all 50 pages in like three hours, but man was it worthwhile. A pretty darn good read. If you want me to share the notes I’ve taken, drop “hell yeah!” in the comments. ✅@IzzatAbdullaev✅

Nature bestows so much time on animals that they can live for five or ten human life spans, while so much shorter a limit is set for humans, even though they are born to do so many great things. What a bummer.

Been meaning to meditate for the past few weeks, yet couldn’t bring myself to actually doing it. Spoiler alert: Prosrastination Now I finally gave up. It’s not even procrastination anymore. I’m lowkey not going to do it at all.

🎧 BODY A: Admittedly, the view that universities should prioritise employability can be justified on several grounds. A compelling reason is that students make a substantial investment in tertiary education. They are often required to devote at least four years to study and, in many countries, pay considerable tuition fees while also sacrificing years of potential income. Given these financial and personal costs, higher-education institutions should equip learners with practical, marketable, and transferable skills that improve their chances of securing stable employment. Universities can, for instance, help students enter the labour market more smoothly through placements, internships, and industry-linked courses. In this sense, career preparation is a legitimate expectation.

🎧 INTRO: Whether universities should primarily enhance students’ employability or serve broader educational purposes remains a matter of debate. While higher education certainly helps prepare students for future careers, its wider aim should be to develop intellectually well-rounded individuals with critical thinking skills, adaptability, and the ability to contribute beyond the workplace.
