| 11 | Not gonna lie, most students have absolutely no idea how much work/studying is actually required to level up linguistically. To make it worse, social media has ruined the concept of hard work. There is absolutely nothing romantic about studying hard. There is no background music. There is no aesthetic desk setup that magically makes it easier. There is no moment where it suddenly feels good. It's just you, exhausted and most likely depressed, staring at the same paragraph for like the fourth time, at midnight, questioning everything and doing it anyway.
To me (at least), that’s pure hard work - unglamorous, uncomfortable. I mean yeah, you basically feel like you’re eating broken pieces of glass. Yet it is the only way.
