Question:
Can we ask Allah or make dua and say “O Allah make me tall or make my feet big.
Is this allowed?
Can we make this kind of dua?
Answer:
Supplicating Allah to make a person taller, if he is still in the stage of physical growth, is permissible and there is nothing wrong with it.
However, if a person has already reached full physical maturity and his height has become established, then although this is something that Allah Almighty is capable of doing, it is not appropriate to make such a supplication. This is because Allah Almighty has ordained the affairs of creation in this universe according to established natural laws and patterns, and therefore one should not ask Allah Almighty for something that would ordinarily occur contrary to these established laws.
There is a fear that such a supplication could constitute transgression in supplication, because it is asking for something that is ordinarily impossible.
Ibn Taymiyyah said:
“Regarding His saying, {Indeed, He does not like the transgressors}, it has been said that what is meant is that He does not love those who transgress in supplication, such as one who asks for something that is not appropriate for him, such as the ranks of the Prophets and the like.
Abu Dawud narrated in his Sunan from Abdullah ibn Mughaffal that he heard his son say: ‘O Allah, I ask You for the White Palace on the right side of Paradise when I enter it.’ He said: ‘O my son, ask Allah for Paradise and seek refuge with Him from the Fire, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: There will be people in this nation who transgress in purification and supplication.’”
— Authenticated by al-Albani.
Accordingly, transgression in supplication can occur in different ways. Sometimes a person asks for something that he is not permitted to ask for, such as seeking assistance in committing forbidden acts. At other times, he asks for something that Allah does not do, such as asking Allah to keep him alive until the Day of Resurrection, or asking Him to remove from him the necessities of human existence, such as the need for food and drink. He may also ask Allah to reveal the unseen to him, or to make him one of those who are protected from sin, or to grant him a child without a wife, and similar matters whose being requested constitutes transgression that Allah does not love, nor does He love the one who asks for them. End quote.
Therefore, it is obligatory for us to be content with what Allah has apportioned for us and to occupy ourselves with giving thanks for Allah’s blessings upon us.
Furthermore, being tall or short is not of great significance in the sight of Allah Almighty, nor does it determine the value of His servants before Him. Rather, a servant’s value in the sight of his Lord is according to the extent of his faith and piety.
And Allah Almighty knows best.

🎙️ The Sanctity of a Muslim's blood is greater than the Ka'bah
Shaykh Abū Bilāl Al-Ḥadhrami (May Allāh preserve him) said:
"By Allāh, what the Houthis are doing to the Muslims is more grievous than what he unleashed upon the Kaʿbah, just as Ibn ʿUmar said to that Great House when he looked at it: 'How great you are, and how great is your sanctity! But a Muslim has greater sanctity with Allāh than you.' Lā ilāha illa Allāh"

🔥 The Houthis will not gain authority over us, Bi-ithnillah—Shaykh Abū Bilāl al-Ḥaḍramī
Shaykh Abū Bilāl—May Allāh preserve him—said:
"Allāh will not give the Houthis authority over us, by the permission of Allāh. Indeed, they had surrounded us in Dammāj from all sides, but they were unable to take anything from us, not even a nail from our houses. We took whatever we wanted from our houses, even the timber. Is this not a sign for you, O Ahlus Sunnah?
So beware of fear-mongering, and beware of being afraid..." [End of quote]

The Houthis :
1️⃣ Aim to spread polytheism by building domes over graves and encouraging people to circumambulate them for intercession.
2️⃣ Seek to replace established religious practices with innovations and superstitions not found in the Quran or Sunnah.
3️⃣ Want to transform Yemen into a state that directly follows Iran and the Khomeini revolution.
4️⃣ Encourage the public cursing and slandering of the Prophet's companions, specifically targeting Abu Bakr, Umar, and Aisha.
5️⃣ Intend to destroy tribal systems and leadership to ensure no authority remains except for those loyal to Iran.
6️⃣ Humiliate and enslave village leaders, resorting to physical abuse to enforce complete submission.
7️⃣ Plan to attack the Land of the Two Holy Mosques (Saudi Arabia) and wage war against every Sunni Muslim.
8️⃣ Refuse to tolerate any opposition groups, political parties, or conferences, demanding absolute subjugation from everyone.
9️⃣ Exploit the population by forcefully taking their wealth, livestock, and imposing the "Khums" tax to enslave the people.
🔟 Strive to plunge Yemen into endless bloodshed, divide the north and south, and pave the way for foreign interventions just like in Iraq and Afghanistan.

📣 🔪 The Condition of 'Abdul 'Azīz At-Tarīfī
Shaykh 'Abdul Hamīd Al-Hajūri (حفظه الله) was asked,
What is your opinion regarding Shaykh ‘Abdul-‘Azīz At-Tarīfī, is he considered to be from the Khawārij?
Answer: Yes, he is from the scholars of the Surūriyyah, and from the Khawārij , Al-Qā'idah. For this reason, they have elevated his status and printed his books in the best possible standard of print. This is their methodology; they aggrandise whoever is with them, praise him, and, I mean, promote him on Twitter and similar platforms until he becomes known among the people and the people pay attention to him. After that, his misguided ideology becomes prevalent.

Correction: 8 and not 18th. May Allāh reward the brother who brought it to attention
Prophet ﷺ was born on 18th Rabī' al-Awwal, not 12th
Shaykh Salīm al-Hilāli (حفظه الله) states:
"All the opinions regarding the date of birth of the Prophet ﷺ are suspended (Mu'allaq) without chains of narration. There is no need to consider them, except for the opinion of: the 18th of Rabī' al-Awwal, which Imām Mālik transmitted from the prominent Tabī'i, Muḥammad Ibn Jubair Ibn Mut'im, with an authentic chain of narration.
For this reason, the historians have deemed this opinion reliable, just as Ibn Faris did in Awjaz as-Siyar (p. 7) and Al-Muhibb At-Tabari in Khulasatu Siyar Sayyid al-Bashar (1/211).
This opinion was recorded by Ibn 'Abd al-Barr in Al-Isti'ab (1/18) from Muḥammad Ibn Mūsa al-Khwārizmi, and Ibn Kathīr cited it with certainty in Al-Bidāyah wa An-Nihāyah (2/242) on the authority of Al-Khwarizmi.
Al-Hafiz Abu al-Khattab Ibn Dihyah graded this opinion as the most correct in his book At-Tanwīr fi Mawlid al-Bashīr, and this is also the preferred view of our Shaykh, Imām Al-Albāni (may Allah have mercy upon him).” End quote.

🚨Friday Alert! You have great chance of getting rewarded for every step you take towards the Friday Prayer immensely. 👇🏻
Narrated by Aws Ibn Aws that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever takes a bath on Friday, and washes his head and body, and goes early, arriving early, and walks and does not ride, and draws near to the Imam and listens to him, and does not engage in idle talk; for every step he takes, he will have the reward of a year, the reward of a year's fasting and praying."

🚫FATWA OF THE PERMANENT COMMITTEE REGARDING ATTENDING OR WATCHING FOOTBALL MATCHES, INCLUDING THE WORLD CUP AND SIMILAR COMPETITIONS🚫
✍️ Question:
What is the ruling on watching sporting events, such as World Cup football matches and similar competitions?
📢✒️ The Permanent Committee replied:
“Football matches in which money or similar prizes are involved are unlawful, because they constitute gambling. This is because it is not permissible to take a prize or compensation (sabaq) except in competitions that are sanctioned by the Shariah, namely horse racing, camel racing, and archery. Therefore, attending such matches is unlawful, and watching them is likewise unlawful for one who knows that they involve a prize or compensation, because attending them constitutes approval of them.
However, if the match is not based on any prize or compensation, does not distract a person from obligations imposed by Allah—such as the prayer and other duties—and does not contain any prohibited matters, such as exposing the ‘awrah (parts of the body that must be covered), free mixing between men and women, or the presence of musical instruments and other forms of amusement, then there is no harm in playing such a match or watching it.
And Allah is the Granter of success. May Allah send His blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.”

📚 Etiquette Before Knowledge
The status of good character and manners is exceptionally high in the sight of Allāh Almighty. Accordingly, it is narrated by Anas bin Mālik, may Allāh be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:
«إن أكملَ المؤمنينَ إيماناً أحسنُهُمْ خُلُقًا، وإن حُسنَ الخلقِ ليبلغُ درجةَ الصومِ والصلاةِ»
"Verily, the most complete of the believers in faith is the best of them in character, and indeed, good character reaches the rank of fasting and prayer."
(Al-Ṣaḥīḥah 1590)
It is narrated by Ḥudhaifah, may Allāh be pleased with him:
"Among the people, ‘Abdullāh bin Mas‘ūd, may Allāh be pleased with him, was the person whose guidance, character, and conduct resembled the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ the most. This remained his state from the time he left his home until he returned to it. However, we do not know what his practice was inside the house among his family members."
(Al-Bukhārī 6097)
Ibn Kathīr, may Allāh have mercy upon him, stated:
🔹 ‘Alqamah [bin Qays al-Nakha‘ī] (62 AH) resembled ‘Abdullāh bin Mas‘ūd, may Allāh be pleased with him, (32 AH) in his guidance, character, and conduct;
🔹 and Ibrāhīm bin Yazīd al-Nakha‘ī (96 AH) resembled ‘Alqamah in his guidance, character, and conduct;
🔹 and Manṣūr bin al-Mu‘tamir (132 AH) resembled Ibrāhīm in his guidance, character, and conduct;
🔹 and Sufyān al-Thawrī (161 AH) resembled Manṣūr in his guidance, character, and conduct;
🔹 and Wakī‘ bin al-Jarrāḥ (197 AH) resembled Sufyān in his guidance, character, and conduct;
🔹 and Aḥmad bin Ḥanbal (241 AH) resembled Wakī‘ in his guidance, character, and conduct;
🔹 and Abū Dāwūd al-Sijistānī (Author of the Sunan) (275 AH) resembled Aḥmad bin Ḥanbal in his guidance, character, and conduct.
(Al-Bidāyah wan-Nihāyah 14/618)
‘Abdullāh bin al-Mubārak, may Allāh have mercy upon him, stated:
"I spent thirty years learning manners, then I spent twenty years acquiring knowledge. They (our teachers) used to learn manners before knowledge."
He also stated:
"It is as if two-thirds of religion consists of manners."
(Ṣifat al-Ṣafwah 2/330)
‘Abdur-Raḥmān bin Mahdī stated:
«كنّا نأتي الرّجل ما نريد علمه إلا أن نتعلّم من هديه وسمته ودلّه»
"We used to come to a man, desiring not his knowledge, but only to learn from his guidance, his exemplary conduct, and his demeanor."
He also stated:
«كان عليّ بن المدينيّ وغير واحد يحضرون عند يحيى بن سعيد القطّان ما يريدون أن يسمعوا شيئا إلا أن ينظروا إلى هديه وسمته»
"‘Alī bin al-Madīnī and more than one [scholar] used to attend the gathering of Yaḥyā bin Sa‘īd al-Qaṭṭān, not desiring to hear anything, but only to look at his guidance and his exemplary conduct."
(Al-Ādāb al-Shar‘iyyah 2/149)
And with Allāh lies all success.
