Lesson Two
Hadeeth no.5
Supplication that will remove sadness and replace it with joy:
..."That You (O Allāh) make the Qur'ān the spring of my heart."
Hadeeth no.6
A supplication more valuable and precious than gold and silver:
..."I ask You (O Allāh) for a sound and upright heart."

Lesson One
Hadeeth no.1
Indeed, in the body is a morsel of flesh. If it is upright & sound, the whole body will be upright & sound, and if it is corrupt, the whole body will be corrupt. Indeed, it is the heart.
Hadeeth no.2
Indeed, Allāh does not look at your bodies, nor at your outward appearance. Rather, He looks at your hearts and your deeds.
Hadeeth no.3
The heart is called qalb because it constantly fluctuates and turns. The example of the heart is like a feather in an open plain, caught on the root of a tree, which the wind keeps turning over from side to side.
Hadeeth no.4
The happiest (and most blessed) of people to receive my intercession on the Day of Resurrection will be the one who says: None has the right to be worshipped in truth except Allāh alone, sincerely from his heart.

"The Day when the secrets (of the hearts, their motives, intentions, and deeds done in concealment) will be examined."
By Shaykh 'Abdulilah Lahmami (may Allāh preserve him)
• The true reality of our deeds will become apparent in the Hereafter.
• Were the good deeds we performed truly and sincerely for the sake of Allāh, or were they done to show off?
• Great care should be taken to purify and rectify our hearts.
• Ibn 'Abbās: "The good and evil you did will become apparent on the Day of Resurrection."
• Allāh knows what we conceal, even our thoughts.
• Allāh knows whatever is in the heavens and the earth, nothing escapes His knowledge.
• The two types of rain.
• Those who say Laa ilāha illallāh are of different levels.
• Do not mock or ridicule others.
• What matters with Allāh is not your worldly possessions or your outward appearance, rather, what truly matters is what is in your heart and your deeds.
