Forty Hadeeth Concerning The Heart By Shaykh 'Abdulilah Lahmami (may Allāh preserve him) Lesson One Hadeeth no.1 Indeed, in the body is a morsel of flesh. If it is upright & sound, the whole body will be upright & sound, and if it is corrupt, the whole body will be corrupt. Indeed, it is the heart. Hadeeth no.2 Indeed, Allāh does not look at your bodies, nor at your outward appearance. Rather, He looks at your hearts and your deeds. Hadeeth no.3 The heart is called qalb because it constantly fluctuates and turns. The example of the heart is like a feather in an open plain, caught on the root of a tree, which the wind keeps turning over from side to side.
