🚨 GOOGLE TO LAUNCH CRYPTO SECURITY SERVICE FOR FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS
Google is testing a new service called Google Multi-Party Compute (MPC), designed to help financial institutions secure and transfer cryptocurrencies and tokenized assets.

After the GTA 6 trailer featured a fictional brand called Dac ity Coin, traders spotted the name and rushed into a Solana token using the same branding. Its market capitalization reportedly jumped from around $104,000 to $3.18 million in roughly an hour.
The catch? A name appearing in a video game does not mean the game officially supports or endorses the cryptocurrency.

Solana developers are exploring a change that could make communication between blockchain validators faster by accounting for their geographic locations.

REA, short for Reverse Engineer Anything, is going viral in the developer community for giving AI coding agents the tools to investigate how software works, even when the original source code is unavailable.

On September 11, an attacker exploited two bugs in Symbiosis’ Bitcoin Bridge. A deposit worth just 330 satoshis, around $0.25, was used to mint approximately 46.1 billion unbacked syBTC.
For context, that number is more than 2,000× Bitcoin’s entire 21 million BTC maximum supply. 😭
The attacker ultimately extracted far less than the headline number, with reported proceeds around $336,000, and Symbiosis shut down the affected bridge while working on recovery and security fixes.

| 20 |  🇺🇸 SEC OPENS A NEW PATH FOR TOKENIZED U.S. STOCKS
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has issued a temporary, conditional “Innovation Exemption” that allows certain Tokenized Securities Venues to facilitate onchain trading of tokenized U.S. stocks.
The framework allows these venues to use permissioned automated market makers and liquidity pools. Tokenized stocks must provide holders with the same rights as the underlying traditional shares, including dividend and voting rights. Issuers must also have an opportunity to object to their shares being traded on a venue.
