Ans: B. Micturating cystourethrogram (MCU)
Posterior urethral valves are the commonest cause of bladder outlet obstruction in male infants. MCU (VCUG) is the investigation of choice. It shows a dilated, elongated posterior urethra with an abrupt calibre change at the valve, and a trabeculated bladder, often with VUR. Antenatal USG gives the 'keyhole' sign; treatment is endoscopic valve ablation.

Westermark sign is focal oligaemia (hyperlucency) distal to an occluding pulmonary embolus. Hampton's hump is a peripheral wedge-shaped opacity from pulmonary infarction, and Fleischner sign is an enlarged central pulmonary artery. Most chest X-rays in PE are normal or non-specific; CT pulmonary angiography is the investigation of choice.

Brodie's abscess is a subacute pyogenic osteomyelitis (usually Staph. aureus) seen as a well-defined metaphyseal lytic lesion with a thick sclerotic rim, often in the tibia, in a child without systemic features. A serpiginous tract towards the growth plate ('penumbra sign' on MRI) supports it. Chondroblastoma is epiphyseal, an ABC is expansile with fluid–fluid levels, and a simple bone cyst is central with a 'fallen fragment' sign. Treatment is curettage and antibiotics.
