Some of the shorts that went significantly against me during the last months : $BCH - I am still holding it but it was a bit painful when it reached the $700 zone $SHIB - I was using it as a hedge while running a lot of memecoin longs, so it was not too frustrating, but I ended up closing because it does not underperform DOGE $WLD - I got squeezed during its first pump in December and closed it in losses at a bad time. Then flipped long for a large part of February and shorted the fck out of it since March $HBAR - I was short a substantial amount when it pumped 2x in April, but did not close, so the negative uPnL is now okay $TON - still holding, I think the upside is limited at this gigantic valuation, but this was already my thesis 4 months ago so I dunno $VET - Brutal 2x pump in February but I have been holding since then and it’s mostly been bleeding endlessly $ICP - Pumped a lot more than I expected and is able to defend its valuation, but its terminal state is down and to the right. I have been holding it for months. $UNI - I was shorting UNI before the fee switch news but I held the short and it retraced that entire pump in April.

A few of the coins I often use as hedge shorts for my longs : $ADA $XRP $WLD $UNI $DOT $TRX $BCH $LTC $ICP $XLM $HBAR $ATOM $VET $XMR $DYDX $ALGO

All of these are now showing [some] life against the altcoin market if you look really close enough... The pendulum swings back or lower high incoming ? I am sidelined on all of them but some of these rounded bottom structures look nice $DYM $ALT $SAGA $OMNI

The top TVL FriendTech ever had is $50M Which also coincides with... the total amount of fees paid by all FriendTech users since launch ?? Name a more extractive app lmao Did such a high fees / TVL ratio ever exist among crypto apps ?

I trade memecoins a lot, but not gonna lie, sometimes there are some successes I don't understand : - $GROK (tasteless meme imo) becoming the leading on-chain Eth memecoin during the November 23 leg up while some previous runners with good memetic potential ($BITCOIN, $JOE, $SPX) died off - A new memecoin with ticker $MAGA goes from 0 to $200M Mcap while there is already a leading Trump coin also called MAGA and not even worth $600M. - $pepecoin reaching $1bn MC with very limited mindshare while $PEPE was at $3bn - $BOME going from like $5M to more than $1bn MC in 2 days while being a very bland meme - $BRETT being the largest Base memecoin with close to $1bn market cap. Hard to see what made it much more successful than other ones (the cabal ?)

Have you noticed how all the people that say "High FDV low float is normal, it is not detrimental, it has always been this way" are always VCs ? Oh, you're fine with the "private sale at 0.0001$ / launch at $5" meta ? I am really surprised...
