It was great to welcome Daniel Priestley into the boardroom at TM & Valente Consulting HQ.
We had a brilliant conversation about my experience winning The Apprentice and the lessons we’ve both learned from building and scaling businesses.
We also spoke about one of the biggest shifts happening in the business world right now…AI
AI is going to completely reshape the employment landscape over the next decade. As more traditional roles become automated or fundamentally change, I believe we’re going to see a huge number of people looking to retrain and move into skilled, practical careers and construction will be one of the industries that benefits.
That’s a big part of why I’m so bullish about the future of construction education.
I shared with Daniel my ambition to go on a buying spree for technical colleges across the UK, building an education group capable of training the next generation of tradespeople, entrepreneurs and construction business owners.
Daniel also shared his perspective on leadership, becoming a Key Person of Influence and building a company that can continue growing without the founder becoming its biggest bottleneck.
A really interesting conversation about business, AI, education and where the next decade of opportunity is heading.

One of the things I promised when we moved into our new headquarters was a rooftop bar.
Unfortunately, due to the structural work required, that’s now a 2027 project.

So this July, we’re launching Valente’s Coffee & Cocktail Lounge as a pop-up experience inside Trade Mastermind HQ for the remainder of 2026.
We’re also in the final stages of partnering with a brewery to launch our own exclusive Trade Mastermind, Valente Consulting and Millionaire Mastermind lager, which I’m really excited about.
