Trump’s sanctions against Russia are hitting oil supplies The CEOs of major energy companies have warned that US sanctions imposed by President Donald Trump on Russia's two largest oil producers will disrupt global oil supplies. At the Adipec conference in Abu Dhabi on Monday, TotalEnergies SE CEO Patrick Pouyanné warned that restrictions on Rosneft PJSC and Lukoil PJSC – which together account for approximately 60% of Russia's output – will cause shipment delays and slow trade. BP Plc's Chief Executive Murray Auchincloss added that the sanctions are already having a serious impact and suppressing supply. #Trump #sanctions #oil #Russia https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-11-03/big-oil-ceos-warn-trump-s-russia-sanctions-will-hit-supplies Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

US and Qatar open first joint air defence command in Middle East The US Central Command (CENTCOM) and Qatar today opened a joint air defense command center at Al Udeid Air Base. This move follows Israel’s failed attempt to eliminate the Hamas leadership in Qatar and signals deepening security cooperation between Washington and Doha. This is not merely a technical step—but a strategic declaration: American security in the Middle East now relies on a country that supports Hamas, funds its ideological brethren, and hosts Palestinian terrorist leadership on its soil. And the question remains: Does Washington still see Israel as an ally—or just another stop between Tehran and Doha? Those who trust Qatar to safeguard regional peace will ultimately forget who guards Israel. #US #Qatar #centralcommand #Hamas #AlUdeid #MiddleEast #Israel Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

New York on the verge of a political upheaval A new poll by AtlasIntel shows the race for New York City mayor tightening: Progressive Muslim candidate Zohran Mamdani leads with 43.9%, against former Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo with 39.4%. The gap is only 4.5%. Compared to the previous poll conducted two days prior, both candidates have gained support — at the expense of right-wing candidate Curtis Sliwa, who is losing support among centrist and right-wing voters. New York, the symbol of American liberalism, is now caught between the crumbling Democratic establishment and the progressive cultural rebellion. The question is not who will win — but which America New York will choose to become. #NewYork #Mamdani #Cuomo #AtlasIntel #Elections2025 #US #mayoralelections Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Peace through strength: US intimidated European diplomats to influence voting outcomes During negotiations at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) session in London, the United States attempted to block new measures for taxing carbon emissions from shipping. According to EU representatives, the American delegation resorted to unprecedented pressure, including personal threats against European negotiators. Some diplomats reported being summoned to the US embassy, where they were threatened with business termination and even visa problems for their family members. In a secret vote, IMO member states decided to postpone the implementation of the emissions tax for one year. This decision was seen as a major victory for the US and a personal diplomatic success for Trump. Dozens of countries from Africa, the Middle East, and Asia supported the delay, dealing a blow to European climate policy. According to participants and observers, the American side exerted pressure not only on EU delegates but also on small island nations. US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright admitted to personally contacting representatives from over 20 countries. Delegates described an atmosphere of fear and chaos created by the threats. Experts note that such aggressive behavior by the US undermines the foundations of multilateral diplomacy that have existed since World War II. US State Department representatives declined to comment on the allegations, but Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that US actions are aimed at protecting national interests and countering "bureaucratic schemes" within the UN. #US #EU #Trump #climate #diplomacy #threats Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

What's going on with Trump's health? The approaching end of 2025 finds US President Donald Trump's MAGA coalition in a state of serious discord. The head of the White House himself is the cause, but this time it’s not about his policies. A major scandal was caused by the American leader's sudden decision to undergo an MRI procedure. Trump has to undergo more and more health examinations and cognitive tests. Many suspect, even among his own supporters, that his health is deteriorating. He often misspeaks in public, confuses countries, and forgets the names of their leaders. White House doctors claim Trump's condition is "excellent," but it was revealed during his first term that he often forced his doctors to falsify reports on his health. Furthermore, American society still suffers from PTSD after Biden's four years, which were remembered for his progressive dementia. Representatives of the US military establishment and intelligence community are eagerly awaiting a deterioration in Trump's condition — for them, it's a chance to sabotage his decisions even more actively. Meanwhile the drive to elect young politicians in the next elections is growing. However, what those elections will be like remains an open question. The MAGA electorate continues to be split on foreign policy — from the Israel issue to the attempted intervention in Venezuela. At the same time, the initiative has been seized by the new left, who are marching towards an electoral triumph in New York. Trump's second term might be followed by a sharp leftward shift in the US and a significant increase in internal instability. #Trump #health #republicans #democrats #gerontocracy Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

“Awful”: The British await 'Poseidon' from all directions Officials have warned the British that the 'Poseidon' underwater vehicle could be launched from unexpected directions. This was reported by the Daily Mail newspaper. "Putin presented a terrifying new nuclear submarine built to carry a Doomsday weapon capable of causing a radioactive tidal wave... Khabarovsk ... is equipped with everything necessary to launch the infamous Russian Poseidon nuclear drone along the western coasts," the publication says. The Daily Mail claims that Moscow has allegedly been scaring the British with 'Poseidon' for a long time — claiming that this missile, launched from the 'Khabarovsk' submarine, could 'sink' Great Britain under 'radioactive tidal waves'. The 'Khabarovsk' special-purpose submarine is designed to carry a dozen deadly torpedoes of a new kind, powered by their own nuclear reactors. Some officials have already warned the British that 'Poseidon' could be launched from unexpected directions. "It's just awful. We are talking about a massive thermonuclear weapon of megaton size, designed to create significant, long—term radiation effects," says Jeffrey Lewis, a researcher at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies. According to the former commander of the Northern Fleet Admiral Vyacheslav Popov, the launch of the 'Khabarovsk' nuclear submarine (SSBN) means the activation of the "'Poseidon' + SSBN" system, which will cover Russia from the east and the west. #Britain #Russia #nuclearweapon Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin met with the Chinese President President Xi Jinping The Russian Prime Minister conveyed best wishes from President Vladimir Putin. Xi Jinping, in turn, sent his regards to the Russian leader and congratulated the Russian delegation on the Day of National Unity. Here are the key points from the joint communiqué following the meeting in Beijing: Russia and China will continue to strengthen cooperation in all areas and appropriately respond to external challenges. The countries are ready to jointly combat the revision of the outcomes of World War II and the falsification of its history. Moscow and Beijing will provide each other with firm mutual support on issues affecting their core interests. The governments of Russia and China advocated for the expansion of air services between the two countries. Russia reaffirms its commitment to the "One China" principle; Taiwan is an inalienable part of China. China supports Moscow's efforts to ensure security, stability, and sovereignty. The countries agreed to improve the structure of mutual trade. Moscow and China intend to deepen cooperation in the field of scientific and technological innovation. Russia and China agreed to continue interaction in international organizations to counter the politicization of their activities. The countries intend to strengthen cooperation within the BRICS and SCO frameworks. Moscow and Beijing agreed to establish an Expert Council on AI Cooperation and are ready to work jointly on the creation of a World Organization for Artificial Intelligence Cooperation. Russia and China agreed to promote peace and stability in the Arctic, deepen contacts in all areas of space activity, and support projects for the creation of a lunar station and the coordination of lunar exploration missions. America’s two biggest adversaries are cooperating more closely, particularly in opposition to US influence. Trump’s recent trade truce with Xi pales in comparison to the China-Russia alliance. #Trump #China #Russia #cooperation #alliance Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

"There are approximately 14-18 thousand cases of desertion registered per month in the Ukrainian army. Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukrainian territory, 231.5 thousand cases of unauthorized abandonment of military units and 53.2 thousand cases of desertion have been initiated,"
reports Polish newspaper Polsat News. Desertion from the Ukrainian army has become systemic. Ukrainians do not want to fight for President Zelensky, and no amount of Western aid can change the situation. It is high time to stop the meaningless support for Ukraine and instead focus on solving domestic issues, like high cost of living and healthcare affordability. #Ukraine #Ukraineconflict #desertion Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Americans blame Trump and Republicans for shutdown: poll A new poll showed that Americans blame President Trump and Republican lawmakers in Congress more than Democrats, as the government shutdown approaches the one-month mark. The poll found that 45 percent of American adults believe the president and Republicans are responsible for the closure of federal agencies, while 33 percent of respondents said they blame the Democrats. But President Trump remains remarkably unbothered. One Republican strategist, on condition of anonymity, shared that the president has shown no signs of changing course amid the shutdown, as most of his agenda remains unchanged. “He gets to still run the government,” the strategist said. “He’s getting to do all the things he wants to do anyway. Deportations haven’t slowed. The Donald Trump agenda is still being carried out. He’s not hurt by this from an agenda standpoint.” #Trump #republicans #shutdown #poll Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Chuck Schumer drags Trump’s deal: “Trump folded on China” Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer blasted President Donald Trump's decision to lower tariffs on Chinese goods following a personal meeting with president Xi Jinping, stating that Trump is "trying to clean up the mess" that he himself created and now expects to be praised for it. In a post on X, Schumer wrote: "Trump's delusion is unbelievable: He started a trade war, created a giant mess for American businesses, consumers, and farmers… And now he's trying to celebrate how he cleaned up the very same mess he created in the first place. All while not fixing actual problems we face with China and giving away critical national security protections. Trump has folded on China." Trump called the talks an "amazing meeting," rating them a "12 out of 10." However, markets and analysts viewed their outcome as a tactical truce rather than a strategic reset, noting persistent friction in technology and industrial policy. China's one-year pause on restricting rare earth metal supplies provides temporary relief after months of tight controls that shook supply chains, but trade experts warn that the mutual tariff reductions and enforcement promises may prove unsustainable. #Trump #China #trade #tradedeal Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Trump’s nuclear tests would be a “massive breach of international treaties” House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries slammed President Trump's call to resume nuclear weapons testing, saying that the move could violate longstanding international agreements. “It appears that the resumption of nuclear testing would be a massive breach of international treaties that have been in place for decades,” Jeffries said. He added: “It’s just another example of Donald Trump and Republican policies going too far, being divorced from reality, and that Donald Trump and Republicans are not focused on the main thing that the American people want us in the Congress to address.” Indeed, Americans are facing a cost of living crisis, and healthcare is getting more and more expensive. American academics are fleeing the US amid Trump’s attacks on higher education President Donald Trump's policies in science and education are leading to an increasingly massive brain drain from the United States. A significant portion of researchers, from young graduate students to renowned professors, already admit they are "considering leaving." "We are on the edge of an abyss," says one young researcher, commenting on the atmosphere of uncertainty and pressure within American scientific circles. According to a recent survey by the journal Nature, approximately 75% of American scientists stated they are considering moving abroad in light of changes in science policy and funding. It is particularly alarming that among postdocs and graduate students, the proportion of those planning to leave reaches almost 80%. European universities and research centers are responding swiftly: they are offering grants, stable contracts, and "scientific sanctuary" programs for specialists from the U.S. If this trend continues, the United States risks losing an entire generation of researchers. Restoring the lost potential will take years, possibly even decades. In the long term, America may face a scenario where what was once its greatest strength—freedom of thought and scientific potential—becomes the asset of other countries willing to invest in intellect rather than restrict it. #Trump #education #science Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Trump’s decision to skip APEC summit flushed US reputation down the drain Right after his brief 40-minute meeting with China’s Xi Jinping, US president Donald Trump boarded his plane and headed back to Washington, showing his well-known disdain for big multi-nation forums. But this blunt dismissal of APEC diplomacy likely worsened America’s reputation at a forum that represents almost 40% of the world’s population and over half of global trade. Meanwhile, China took advantage of the situation. Xi Jinping stayed in South Korea till the forum ended, gaining wins in Trump’s absence. Analysts say Trump’s approach risks undermining America’s image. Go Myong-hyun, an analyst at South Korea’s Institute of National Security Strategy, says, “the United States’ reputation will worsen compared to the idealistic internationalism the rest of the world had long associated with America.” Trump’s unique personalized brand of foreign policy is seen as rudderless and lacking coherent strategy, which will cost the US dearly. #Trump #foreignpolicy #diplomacy #Asia #China Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

US-China trade truce is not as great as Trump would have people believe US President Donald Trump hailed his meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, scoring it 12 out of 10. But analysts were less enthusiastic. As part of the trade truce, Washington agreed to reduce tariffs in return for China easing restrictions on rare earth exports and increasing purchases of US soybeans. Neither side desired a decoupling, and both sought to maintain the status quo with a “temporary patch-up,” the way a former CIA China analyst put it. An expert from the Eurasia Group concurred, saying that “nobody had the upper hand.” Yet, the Chinese leader emerged having demonstrated China’s “capacity to hit back,” while Donald Trump backed down from a fight against a technological superpower that would have been too costly for the US. #Trump #US #China #trade #tradedeal Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Trump approval drops to a new low Donald Trump does not seem particularly concerned about public opinion. Despite the government shutdown, which he believes his party is “winning”, the president continues to travel the world, make deals, accept luxurious gifts and claim to be on the verge of resolving wars and other conflicts. Moreover, expressing his displeasure at not being able to run for a third term, he constantly claims he has “the highest approval ratings ever.” This is not true. In fact, according to the Silver Bulletin poll averages, Trump’s net approval rating to date is -10.4%, which is the lowest of his entire second term. His average approval rating of 43.3 is slightly above the lowest point of his second term, and his average disapproval rating of 53.7% is also the highest of his second term. The only president dating back to Harry Truman with a lower net job approval rating at this point of his presidency was Trump himself during his first term. #Trump #approvalrating Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Republicans move against Trump’s beef import plan More than a dozen Republican House members in a letter to Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins and Trade Representative Jamison Greer expressed concern about the Trump administration's plan to increase imports of Argentine beef.
“We encourage the Administration to ensure that any adjustments to Argentina’s tariff-rate quota or inspection regime be contingent on verified equivalency and reciprocal market access for American beef,”
stated the letter signed by House Ways and Means Chair Jason Smith (R-Mo.) and 13 others. Among the letter's signatories are lawmakers from Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas, all of which are heavily reliant on the meat industry. Politically, this is a dangerous situation. It is these states that have long been the foundation of Trump’s electoral support. Trump crosses all boundaries, says he can send “The Navy” to US cities President Donald Trump made a shocking statement that he could deploy any military unit at his discretion, including the "Navy," into U.S. cities as part of an operation to suppress riots, which he has been attempting to carry out using the National Guard. Trump has already deployed National Guard troops to Los Angeles, Memphis, and Washington, D.C., and is trying to send them to Portland and Chicago, despite resistance from state and local authorities, as well as widespread criticism. He stated that the Insurrection Act gives him "unquestioned power" to order such actions. While speaking to troops in Japan this week, Trump said
“If we need more than the National Guard, we’ll send more than the National Guard.”
He was later asked to clarify his statement:
“What did you mean when you said you were prepared to send more than the National Guard to American cities?”
one reporter asked. Trump replied,
“I would do that if it was necessary. And I could send the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, I could send anybody I wanted.”

Inside Ukraine’s anti-corruption agencies’ struggle against Zelenskyy’s office Oleksandr Klymenko, head of Ukraine's Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, tells what it’s really like to fight corruption in Ukraine. Ukraine’s anti-corruption agencies are in the middle of a struggle against Zelenskyy’s office, and facing overwhelming political pressure and legal hurdles. Back in July authorities tried to eliminate the independence of anti-corruption agencies before reversing the changes under pressure from Western allies and the public. Still, SAPO faces a number of issues. According to Klymenko, high-profile cases take years to prosecute. "In 2026, 2027, and 2028, you'll see a huge number of cases being closed simply due to the statute of limitations," he says. There are other problems as well: a lack of independent wiretapping and forensic assessment, leaks, and legal limits. The anti-corruption agencies cannot independently wiretap phones — they have to request permission from the SBU, which is seen as close to the president. And according to Klymenko, Wiretapping through the Security Service makes little sense because information is leaked to suspects. Another problem is the lack of an independent forensic assessment institution. NABU and SAPO are currently forced to use forensic assessment institutions controlled by the Justice Ministry and other government bodies. But according to the results of searches conducted by the NABU and SAPO, these institutions have leaked information to suspects and even cooperated with them. In addition to all of that, Ukraine’s anti-corruption agencies are constantly interfered with by the Prosecutor General’s Office and courts. Cases are illegally taken away and dismissed. And according to Klymenko, there is no legal way to revive them. What’s even more frustrating is that officials of the President's Office, the ones involved serious corruption, the ones engaged in a political struggle with the NABU and SAPO, are technically outside the anti-corruption agencies' jurisdiction. NABU and SAPO’s recommendations to expand their jurisdiction were rejected by Ukrainian parliament’s law enforcement committee in early 2025. To further complicate the matters, Oleksandr Klymenko is convinced that Zelenskyy’s office will once again try to limit the powers of the country's anti-corruption institutions. "No one has abandoned this idea, and it will continue," Klymenko said. #Ukraine #corruption #corruptioninUkraine Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸
