Part 3 Making decisions 1. Do you think children sometimes have to make important decisions? Yes, absolutely. I think children should be given the chance to make age-appropriate decisions because that’s how they learn the ropes. It helps them become more independent, think for themselves, and build confidence. Of course, parents should still keep an eye on them and step in when necessary, but they shouldn’t make every decision on their behalf. After all, everyone learns from trial and error. The earlier children start making small decisions, the easier it’ll be for them to deal with bigger ones later in life. 2. What important decisions do young people need to make after completing high school? I’d say this is a real turning point in their lives. They have to decide whether to go on to university, take up a job, learn a trade, or even take a gap year. If they choose university, they also need to settle on a major, and that decision can shape their future career. It’s definitely not a decision to be taken lightly because it can open some doors while closing others. That’s why it’s worth thinking things through instead of rushing into anything. 3. Who can children turn to for help when making a decision? 4. How do people make important decisions? Well, it really depends on the situation. If it’s about education or choosing a career, they can turn to their parents, teachers, or career counselors for guidance. If it’s related to health, they should seek advice from a doctor rather than relying on social media. When they’re dealing with personal problems, they can always open up to someone they trust, whether that’s a family member or a close friend. Sometimes just talking things over helps people see things from a different angle. 5. What are the advantages of advertising? 6. Do you think the influence of advertising is good? 7. Do you think advertisements can influence our decisions when shopping? Definitely. These days, advertisements are everywhere, so it’s hard not to be influenced by them. Companies draw people in with eye-catching videos, limited-time offers, and influencer reviews. Sometimes they even create a sense of urgency, which encourages people to buy things on the spur of the moment. I think most of us have fallen for an advertisement at least once. That’s why I always try to think twice, compare products, and ask myself whether I actually need something before checking out.

Part 2 Describe an important decision you made I'd like to talk about an important decision I made a few months ago when I had to choose between keeping my plans with my friends and joining my family on a trip. My friends and I had been planning a picnic for quite a while. We finally settled on a date that suited everyone, picked a nice park, and sorted out who would bring what. Since we all had packed schedules, it wasn't easy to line everything up, so I was really counting down the days. Then, out of the blue, my parents told me that our family and some relatives were going on a mountain trip on exactly the same day. We don't get together very often, so I knew it was a chance I didn't want to miss out on. After weighing up the pros and cons, I decided to go with my family. It wasn't an easy call because I didn't want to let my friends down, but I felt that family should come first. As it turned out, I made the right decision. We set off early in the morning and headed to the mountains. We went for a short hike, breathed in the fresh mountain air, had a picnic, took loads of photos, and caught up with our relatives. We laughed our heads off and really made the most of the day. The weather was perfect, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. At first, I had mixed feelings because I had been so excited about the picnic with my friends. But looking back, I wouldn't change a thing. My friends were really understanding, and we simply put the picnic off until the following weekend. In the end, everything worked out for the best. This decision was important because it taught me that you can't always have it both ways. Sometimes you have to go with your gut and choose what matters most. It also reminded me that family moments are few and far between, so it's worth making time for them whenever you get the chance. All in all, I have no regrets, and I'd make the same decision again in a heartbeat.

Part 1 Old buildings 1. Do you prefer living in an old building or a modern house? Of course, I’d go for a modern house. It’s usually more comfortable, energy-efficient, and equipped with better facilities. On top of that, modern homes require less maintenance, so they’re much more convenient to live in. 2. Should old buildings be preserved? If a building has historical or cultural value, then definitely yes. They’re an important part of a country’s heritage and help us understand how people lived in the past. Once they’re gone, there’s no way to bring them back. 3. Are there any old buildings you want to see in the future? Yes. I’d really love to see the Great Wall of China one day. It’s one of the most famous historical landmarks in the world, and I’ve always been fascinated by its history and massive scale. Seeing it in person would be a dream come true. 4. What aspect of culture do old buildings reflect? I think they mainly reflect a country’s architecture, religion, and way of life. For example, mosques often showcase Islamic architecture and religious traditions, while castles in Europe reflect the lifestyle and history of that period. Every old building has a story to tell. 5. How do old buildings affect the appearance of a place? I think they give a place its own character and charm. Instead of looking plain or ordinary, a city with well-preserved old buildings feels more unique and full of history. They also attract tourists and make the place more memorable.

Part 2 Describe a place you've travelled to that you'd recommend to others I’d like to talk about Samarkand, a place I’d recommend without a second thought. In my opinion, it’s one of those destinations that has the best of both worlds. On the one hand, it has an old part of the city that’s steeped in history, with breathtaking buildings and famous landmarks. On the other hand, there are beautiful mountain areas nearby where you can get away from it all and enjoy the fresh air. I went there with my family during the summer holidays. The main reason was to escape the scorching heat in our hometown. Summers can be boiling hot, so we decided to head to the mountains for a few days to cool off and take a break from our daily routine. To begin with, we stayed in the mountain area for a few days. The weather was cool and refreshing, and the fresh air was just what we needed. We spent our time going for walks, taking loads of pictures, enjoying the stunning scenery, and soaking up the peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect place to recharge our batteries and clear our minds. After the weather became more moderate, we made our way to the old part of Samarkand for some sightseeing. We wandered around the historic streets, admired the incredible architecture, and visited some well-known landmarks. Every corner was picture-perfect, so I couldn’t resist taking photo after photo. I also learned a few interesting facts about the city’s past, which made the visit even more meaningful. All in all, I had the time of my life. The trip left a lasting impression on me, not only because of its rich history but also because of the peaceful mountain scenery. If I ever have the chance, I’d go back in a heartbeat. I’d recommend Samarkand to anyone who wants to kill two birds with one stone—relax in nature while exploring one of the most fascinating historical cities in the country.

And mine🔥no words respect 👏

Part 1 History 1. Do you think history is important? Yes, definitely. I think history is important because it helps us understand how our world became what it is today. It also teaches us valuable lessons from the past, which can help people make better decisions in the future. 2. Do you like to learn about history? To be honest, only to some extent. I’m not a huge history buff, but I do enjoy learning about topics that really catch my attention, such as ancient civilizations, world-changing events, or the lives of influential people. I find those stories much more engaging than simply memorizing dates and facts. 3. Do you think the internet is a good place to learn about history? Yes, absolutely. The internet is a great place to learn about history because you can find a huge amount of information at the click of a button. There are documentaries, articles, podcasts, and educational videos that make history much more engaging. The only thing is that you need to make sure the information comes from reliable sources.

Part 1 Evening time 1. Do you like the morning or the evening? I definitely prefer the evening because that’s when I finally have some time to myself. After a busy day, I can slow down, relax, and do things I genuinely enjoy. It helps me unwind and recharge my batteries for the next day. 2. What do you usually do in the evening? I usually do something that helps me unwind after a long day. For example, I might read a book, watch a movie or TV series, listen to music, or chat with my family. If I have assignments, I try to get them out of the way first so I can enjoy a relaxing evening without worrying about them.

Part 3 Sports events 1. What is the difference between watching sports events at home and at the stadium? 2. What are the advantages of watching sports events online? I think they offer completely different experiences. At home, you’re in your comfort zone. You can kick back on the couch, grab something to eat, pause the match whenever you want, and even replay the best moments. It’s much more relaxing and convenient. Watching a match at the stadium is a whole different story. You get to soak up the atmosphere, cheer along with thousands of fans, and feel the excitement firsthand. The energy is through the roof, especially during big matches. Even though it can be crowded and expensive, I think it’s well worth it every once in a while. 3. Why do some people dislike watching the Olympic Games? Well, everyone has different tastes. Some people simply aren’t into sports, so they don’t find the Olympics very exciting. Others may only follow one or two sports, so they lose interest when less familiar events come on. Some people also think the Olympics last too long, while others would rather hang out with friends, watch films, or spend their free time doing something else.

Part 2
Describe a time when you watched a live sports event and liked it
One live sports event I really enjoyed was a FIFA World Cup qualifying match between Uzbekistan and Portugal. To be honest, I'm not a big football fan, but this match was such a huge event that I didn't want to miss it. I would have loved to watch it from the stadium, but that wasn't really an option. I was snowed under with university work, and travelling abroad and buying a ticket would have cost an arm and a leg. So, I watched it live at home instead. The match was played in the evening, after I had finished my classes. My family decided to watch it together, so we grabbed some snacks, made ourselves comfortable, and waited for the kick-off. Even before the game started, everyone was in high spirits, and the excitement was hard to ignore. The main reason I watched the live broadcast was that it was a rare opportunity to see Uzbekistan play against a world-famous team like Portugal. It wasn't the kind of match that comes around every day, so I didn't want to miss it. Besides that, everyone around me was talking about it, and I wanted to be part of the excitement. I also think watching a match live is much more enjoyable than watching the highlights later because you experience every moment as it happens. You never know when a goal or a surprising moment might come, and that's what keeps you glued to the screen. What I liked most was the atmosphere. The fans were cheering at the top of their lungs, the stadium looked incredible, and the players gave it everything they had. Even though I was sitting on my sofa, I still got caught up in the excitement. My family and I kept reacting to every important moment, and it turned into a really enjoyable evening. Although I couldn't be there in person because of my studies and my budget, I still had a great time.

Part 1. MORNING ROUTINES 1. What is your morning routine? Well, I’m definitely not an early bird, but I usually drag myself out of bed at around 7 a.m. I wash my face, do my hair, get dressed, and have breakfast. After that, I grab my bag and head off to university. It’s a pretty simple routine, but it helps me get ready for the day. 2. Do you spend your mornings doing the same things on both weekends and weekdays? Not really. On weekdays, I have a fixed routine because I have classes, so I get up at around 7 a.m. On weekends, though, I usually sleep in until about 10 a.m. Sometimes I wake up so late that I end up having brunch instead of separate breakfast and lunch. 3. Is breakfast important? I think so. To be honest, my mum has always told me that breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it gives us energy and helps us stay healthy. I’m not sure how true that is scientifically, but I do feel more energetic when I have a proper breakfast. 4. Do you like to get up early? It depends. If I’m going on a trip or there’s something I’m really looking forward to, I have no problem getting up early. But on a normal day, I’d much rather sleep in. Since I’m not a morning person, waking up early isn’t something I enjoy.

Part 1 JOKES 1. Are you good at telling jokes? Not really. I’m terrible at telling jokes because I start laughing before I even get to the punchline. By the time I try to tell it, I’m already laughing so hard that no one understands what I’m saying. In the end, I’m usually the only one laughing at my own joke! 2.Do your friends like to tell jokes? Yeah, definitely. Most of my friends have a great sense of humor, so they’re always cracking jokes and making everyone laugh. We laugh a lot whenever we hang out, so there’s never a dull moment. 3. Do you like to watch comedies? Absolutely! I love watching comedies because they’re the perfect way to unwind after a busy day. My all-time favorite comedy show is Friends. I’ve rewatched it more times than I can count, and it still makes me laugh every single time. It never gets old.
