So called US diplomacy has presented the Ukraine as the voice of reason wanting a peaceful resolution while attempting to paint Russia as the warmonger the rejects any notion of peace.
A 30 day "ceasefire" to allow the AFU some time to reorganise. The proposal was deliberately made so that Russia would reject it in order to show the world that the Russians can't be reasoned with and therefore the war must continue.

Russia is set to radically alter and reform its immigration policies. It is preparing to eliminate old and outdated foreign worker programs that brought in millions of foreign immigrants to work mainly in the mines of Siberia. The plan is to radically innovate and replace foreign human laborers with more automated and mechanized labor under the control and maintenance of Russian nationals. Historically a quite dangerous and health hazardous work environment for human laborers, automation will ensure the elimination of unnecessarily risky and injurious labor.
Additionally, Russia is planning to add greater restrictions on more than 5 million (that's over half of all foreigners in Russia in total) temporary residents on work visas from being able to renew their permits. This will drastically open up the job market for Russian Nationals and permanent residents.
President Putin has already banned liberal cultural trends and movements such as LGBTQ+, pornography and other manifestations of propaganda deemed destructive or injurious to society. He has also created a ministry of familial affairs to encourage the establishing and growth of large families among the next generation of Russians.
Generous welfare incentives are going to be implemented for families that have children. The Russian state will take into account parenting and home management calculations when it comes to retirement benefits. This means that Russian men and women who spend their entire lives at home being full-time home care takers and parents will be eligible for workers' pensions once they reach the age of retirement.
The education system is likewise getting a massive makeover as Russian patriotism in the school curriculum is getting a massive boost in importance regarding the psychological and spiritual development of the Russian youth.
Athletics, and at least one year in some type of combat sport like boxing or MMA, is now required for boys to graduate from Russian schools.
