It has not been transmitted from a Sahābah may Allāh ﷻ be pleased with them,

That he saw an evil and he stayed silent from calling against it with his tongue.

| 3 | Ten days of Dhul Hijjah
Shaykh ‘abd al ‘azīz at tarīfī فك الله أسرة:
“The (first) 10 (days) of Dhill Hijjah;
In it did Allāh ﷻ speak to Mūsā;
In it was the Dīn of Islām completed;
these are the days which Allāh swore by;
Worship during it is better than during other days, (especially the takbīr and fasting);
And 'Arafah is the best day in the year.”

| 4 | If you don't have the courage and willingness to lose the people closest to you for the sake of Truth, you will remain a slave to people and your interests.
I observed the people of falsehood and found them to be the most audacious in defending their falsehood; commanding evil and forbidding good, then I looked into many people of Truth and found them to be the most inclined towards affability, and the shiest about what they believe is the Truth.
We know for a fact, that whoever appeases people by displeasing Allah, Allah will turn the people against him.
When you speak, be just, even if it concerns a near relative as your Lord has commanded you, and Allah will place your fondness in the hearts of His servants, despite opposers.
So be wary of accompanying the self-serving loyalists and sycophants, because today they are with you, but tomorrow they will turn against you. And beware of being passive, for you will never win the hearts of all people; having enemies is inevitable, so make sure that your enemies are the people of falsehood.
These are lessons from history I am reminding you of.

| 6 | If you see a hypocrite glorifying one aspect of the religion, know that he only wants to put down another aspect!
Examples:
The Quranist glorifies the Quran and its preservation and the importance of abiding by it and not being influenced by external parties == Only to put down the authority of the Sunnah.
The liberal talks about the importance of Ikhlaas when doing acts of worship == Only to put down the obligation of forcing others to implement certain external ibaadah like the Salah or the Hijaab.
The one who glorifies good treatment with kuffar, their good treatment of us, and the Sunnah of the Prophet in his interactions with them == Only wants to put down the obligation of disavowing from them and making Islam the central aspect of the Muslim community.
Many of those who glorify the right of the ruler and the necessity of entrusting to him full authority in political issues == Only want to downplay the collective obligation on the general Ummah of concerning themselves with and supporting the oppressed Muslims.
Many of those who speak on the importance of stability and the value of Muslim blood in the Sight of Allah == Only want to downplay the obligation of Jihad and sacrificing life and wealth for the sake of Allah.
and the one who wants to know the rightful place that something has in the religion- and how it's balanced and weighed with the other obligations in the religion- has to look at how Allah, His Messenger and the scholars have spoken on it- how much importance have they given it and how have they discussed the rulings pertaining to it, what is given precedence when two things are in apparent contradiction and so on,
it's not sufficient to look at a bunch of quotes glorifying one affair and pass judgements and claims without having a comprehensive picture of the position that affair has in the religion as a whole.

And it is noticed that a lot of the Tullāb al ‘Ilm are engrossed in ‘Aqīdah, the Sunnah, and the rulings of halāl and harām, and this is great, but we seldom find them engrossed with the Qur'ān. The last ten from Ramadān are like a great market whence the righteous compete, the worshippers strive, and get closer to Allāh ﷻ by the various types of worship and getting close to Allāh, and the Muslim is keen upon the completion of Ramadān with the best of actions, for “Indeed the actions are judged by its endings..", and the horse when it nears the end of the race it exerts the best of what it has.
