Happy New Month to every member of our HAWS family! To all the new members joining us across our platforms, you are most welcome. This is a community of people who have chosen discipline over convenience, health over sickness, and truth over trends. Remember, July is just a new month. Our health goals remain the same. Our healing doesn't happen because the calendar changed, it happens because your habits changed. This month, I challenge you to commit to these simple but powerful habits: + Try and stay present every single time. It will probably be one of the most difficult thing to do but strive to be here and now. If it is not happening now, it is not happening. + Stay away from wheat in all its forms; bread, chapati, mandazi, cakes, biscuits, pasta, and noodles. + Eliminate sugar completely. Your body doesn't need it, but disease thrives on it. + Throw out vegetable?/ seed oils oils. Cook with healthier fats like butter, ghee, tallow, or coconut oil. + Avoid soda and all fizzy drinks. Drink water, black tea, black coffee, or herbal teas instead. + Skip morning breakfast. Allow your body time to burn stored energy instead of constantly feeding it. + Don't fear salt. Enjoy salt in your meals. Salt is essential for proper hydration and many important body functions. Eat salt whether raw or cooked. + Move your body at least three times a week. Walk, lift weights, stretch, cycle, just don't stay still. + Stay away from ugali and rice for the entire month of July. Give your body a chance to reset and experience what life feels like without constant starch overload. + Stay away from alcohol. + Take a cold shower every day. Stay consistent and observe the changes in your energy, mental clarity, discipline, and resilience. + Push at least 2 prolonged fasts. You can start even with a 24 hour fast{One meal a day}. Just ensure you have pushed two of them this month. Those who can do a 36-48 hour fast, please do it. Let's make July the month of discipline, consistency, and transformation. Stay committed, trust the process, and analyze the results at the end of the month. Welcome to a healthier July! #HAWS #HealthyJuly #Discipline #IdentityBeforeDiet #ConsistencyWins

This photo was taken 5 years ago. When I look at it today, I realize I haven't changed much. Not because of luck or genes. But because of consistency. People admire results, but they rarely admire the discipline that produces them. Eating real food every day, exercising when you don't 'feel' like it, fasting regularly even where people are busy eating and saying "no" when everyone else is saying "yes." Many people can do it for a week. Some can manage a month. Very few can maintain it for years. Some will call it boring. That's okay. Consistency often looks boring until the consequences of inconsistency arrive. At this time, it is always expensive.

I have seen people reacting to Andrew Kibe's comments on a podcast the same way they overreacted to the series ; The polygamist and this really exposes so any things. Most people are struggling with ANGER and they are constantly looking for a place to exercise it. Apparently, Kibe and Jonasi provided that chance. When we constantly react from what is familiar instead of what is true, we become prisoners of our conditioning. Your real battle is within you. It has nothing to do with what is happening in the world around you. Keep struggling because you love your hell. One day if God gives you the grace, you will wake up.

Mental health care has helped countless people, but like every industry, psychiatry is not immune to misuse. We should be careful not to confuse treating symptoms with addressing the root causes of suffering. Too often, a 15 minute consultation can end with a prescription before a person's nutrition, sleep, trauma, relationships, stress, hormones, substance use, or physical health have been thoroughly explored. If you walk into a psychiatric consultation room with no challenges at all and you decide to play dump, you will have a diagnosis and a prescription. That is how it is designed. Medication can be lifesaving and appropriate for some people, but it should not become the default answer to every emotional struggle. Life struggles are not mental illnesses. Identity struggles cannot be fixed with medications. The risk of overdiagnosis, where normal grief, stress, or life's challenges are quickly labeled as disorders is crazy. Some medications carry significant side effects, including; + Weight gain + Sexual dysfunction + Metabolic changes + Withdrawal symptoms + Dependance and addictions + And, emotional blunting. People deserve honest discussions about both the benefits and the risks before starting long-term treatment. The goal of mental health care should not simply be to suppress symptoms but to restore health. The best care integrates careful diagnosis, identity alignment, psychological therapy, lifestyle interventions, social support, and, when indicated, medication.

Identity Mirror. Do you strive/desire to work OR Do you strive/desire to be successful?

Women, If you crave eating every time during pregnancy or during ovulation: + Your kitchen is and has been a mess. You eat products with low nutrition. + Your body is deficient in vital nutrients including electrolytes. It is asking for them, but what do you do? You keep loading it with the same crap. + You are a sugar addict. Sugar comes in different forms including the "natural" one. + Your diet is low in protein and healthy saturated  fats. You cannot crave for what you have never eaten. Cravings are an easiest way to show food addiction. The hormones that you are blaming, it's you who disstabilized them through the same things you are now craving. Start preparing for a pregnancy earlier. Don't wait to start living healthy when you are pregnant. Hospitals and pharmaceutical companies and even supplement companies will reap big from you. Eat nutrient dense foods; meat, eggs, fish and chicken, omena, organ meats, avocado. Fast consistently. Hydrate adequately with water and electrolytes. + Use healthy fats for cooking. + Avoid empty calories, restaurant foods, alcohol, products processed and ultra processed. The supplements you take during pregnancy, the iron tablets you swallow have nothing on a clean kitchen. You can ignore this post but you will be back asking me questions that are addressed here. You will think your pregnancy is a "special one". What a mess! Haven't you learnt from those diagnosed with "pressure" telling you how they don't have "diabetes". "Mine is just pressure"! Unlearn.

Good morning Advocates. Today at 2:00 PM, we begin our 72-hour fast. Fasting is more than simply skipping meals, it's an opportunity to reset unhealthy eating patterns, strengthen self-discipline, and allow the body to shift from using stored glucose to using stored fat for energy. You will experience improved insulin sensitivity and mental clarity as you adapt to it. Fasting activates cellular repair processes such as autophagy and mitophagy. Keep in mind that fasting is not a competition but a personal commitment to better health and self control. Those who are new to fasting, start with a 24 hour fast. Gradually grow into it. Don't jump into this one if you haven't perfected the weekly 48 hour fast. It's a lifetime investment not a competition.

This was a tough one after the run. We managed 5 minutes. You should try and challenge yourself to this. It is a full body workout.
