ANY SISTER WHO IS NOT PRAYING IS NOT WALKING IN GOD’S WILL — APOSTLE AROME OSAYI Let this be said plainly and without apology: any sister who is not praying is not walking in the will of God. This is not a rebuke born out of pride; it is a truth born out of spiritual understanding. God’s will is never discovered by assumption—it is sustained by communion. Prayer is not what we do when life is collapsing; prayer is how we prevent collapse. When prayer stops, discernment shuts down. You may still be active, busy, intelligent, and even “doing well,” but spiritually, you are exposed. Silence in prayer is not neutrality; it is vulnerability. Scripture says, “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17). That means prayer is not seasonal. You don’t graduate from prayer because things are calm. In fact, calm seasons are when prayer must deepen, because storms don’t announce their arrival. Many sisters are fighting spiritual battles with emotional tools. You are reasoning where you should be praying. You are explaining where you should be interceding. Apostle Paul reminds us in Ephesians 6:12 that our warfare is not against flesh and blood. Yet many sisters are exhausted, offended, and confused—not because life is hard, but because the altar is quiet. Jesus, the embodiment of God’s will, prayed. Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, He went to a solitary place and prayed (Mark 1:35). If Jesus needed prayer to stay aligned, then prayerlessness is not maturity—it is presumption. Look at real life. How many sisters said, “I didn’t see it coming,” after a relationship broke them? Not because God didn’t warn them, but because prayer was not sustained long enough to hear clearly. How many walked into decisions that drained them emotionally, spiritually, and financially, simply because feelings were louder than the voice of God? Hannah prayed, and barrenness bowed. Esther prayed, and destiny was preserved. Mary prayed and aligned herself with heaven’s agenda, saying, “Be it unto me according to Your word” (Luke 1:38). None of these women prayed casually. They prayed because alignment was at stake. A praying sister is not easily rushed. She is not easily confused. She is not easily manipulated. Prayer sharpens discernment and strengthens resolve. When prayer is alive, compromise struggles to survive. Hear this: if Satan can keep a sister prayerless, he does not need to attack her directly. Life itself will wear her down. But when a sister prays, even hell must respect her alignment. Sisters, this is the call: return to the altar. Pray when it is convenient. Pray when it is quiet. Pray when it is hard. Because the will of God is not stumbled into—it is preserved in prayer.

WHO AM I NOT TO PRAY? Prayer has always been the backbone of every genuine move of God. Behind every visible grace was an invisible altar. Before the crowds, before the miracles, before the global impact, there was a man or a woman alone with God. Prayer is not a religious routine. It is a lifeline. It is the place where strength is renewed, direction is received, and burdens are exchanged. A man who prays may look ordinary, but he carries unseen authority. Many people want results without devotion. They want power without intimacy. They want victory without warfare. But it does not work that way. What you refuse to confront in prayer will eventually confront you in life. When I do not pray, my flesh grows louder. When I do not pray, confusion gains space. When I do not pray, temptations gain strength. When I do not pray, the enemy finds room to operate. Prayer is how I stay spiritually alert. Prayer is how I guard my heart. Prayer is how I align my steps with God’s will. Prayer is how I remain sensitive to the voice of the Spirit. The enemy does not fear activity, talent, or intelligence. He fears a praying believer. A prayerless believer is easy prey, but a praying believer is dangerous to darkness. I will pray when I feel weak. I will pray when I feel strong. I will pray when answers delay. I will pray when life makes no sense. I will pray because prayer keeps me grounded. I will pray because prayer keeps me dependent on God. I will pray because prayer keeps my destiny protected. I refuse to live carelessly with my soul. I refuse to be silent when heaven is waiting to respond. I refuse to ignore the altar that preserves men. I will pray. Because if I don’t pray, Satan will make a mess of me.
