| 15 | UNDERSTANDING THE MOVE OF GOD – APOSTLE MICHAEL OROKPO
When we speak about the move of God, we are not talking about emotional excitement in a church service. We are talking about the tangible influence of God over the souls of men, powerful enough to redefine civilization. The move of God is not a meeting—it is a territorial takeover. It is heaven's government descending to override the agenda of darkness in a city, a nation, or a continent.
Every territory you find yourself in is not just inhabited by people. There are spirit entities advancing their own agenda. Jesus made this clear when He said, "The thief cometh not but for to kill, to steal, and to destroy." The thief comes first, and his goal is to uproot value systems, corrupt worship, and change the culture. But when God shows up, He always overrides what the thief has done.
Isaiah 32 reveals a city that was once a joyous city, a palace, but it became desolate. Why? Because the watchmen were asleep, the gatekeepers were blind, and the enemy was allowed to sneak in. When you see a territory where godly values are being replaced by inhuman ideologies, know that a spirit has entered. The beast has been summoned from the forest.
But the Bible gives us hope: "Until the Spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field." When the Spirit is poured out, the desolate city can be restored. The move of God is the answer to the decay of nations. It is time for a generation to rise and contend at the gate.
Are you ready to be part of this move? Type "I AM READY" in the comments and share this with someone who needs to awaken. | 1 951 |

| 19 | There is grace in divine alignment.
And there is profound fulfilment in walking faithfully within the assignment God has ordained.
Do not spend your life trying to look like another minister.
Become what God has called you to become.
Magnify your office.
Honour your assignment.
Steward your grace.
Fulfil your course.
And above all, remain faithful to the One who called you.
«“They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.”
— Jonah 2:8»
May we never abandon the grace assigned to us while pursuing an identity God never gave us.
— Michael Tse (Paraphrased) | 56 |
| 20 | MAGNIFY THE OFFICE GOD HAS GIVEN YOU
Dear Young Minister,
God has called you to be an Evangelist, but you desire to be called an Apostle.
God has called you to be a Pastor, but you want to be addressed as an Apostle.
God has called you to be a Prophet, but you prefer the title Apostle.
God has called you to be a Teacher, but you consider the title Apostle more desirable.
Why?
Perhaps because the title Apostle sounds more prominent, prestigious, spiritual, and globally celebrated.
But the real issue may not be foolishness. It may be inferiority complex, comparison, and a lack of understanding of one's divine assignment.
A young minister from the West once observed that Apostles appear to be more readily accepted globally today than Pastors, Evangelists, Teachers, and Prophets. He described the present generation as an “Apostolic era” and, influenced by this perception, adopted the title “Apostle,” even making deliberate efforts to have others address him by that designation.
This calls for sober reflection.
One expression of pride is the refusal to embrace what God has called a person to be.
When a minister continually rejects his God-given assignment because another office appears more honourable, he may not be pursuing greater spiritual stature; he may simply be resisting divine order.
God will not give an Apostolic mantle and its corresponding grace to someone whose divine assignment is that of an Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher, or Prophet.
You do not choose what you are called to be; you discover what God has called you to be and respond accordingly.
Consider God's words to Jeremiah:
«“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
— Jeremiah 1:5»
The office and grace allotted to Jeremiah to function effectively in his generation was that of a Prophet—nothing more, nothing less.
He did not need to become something else to become significant.
He became significant by faithfully becoming what God ordained him to be.
In the days of Paul, there were Pastors, Prophets, Teachers, Evangelists, and others serving in their respective assignments. Yet Paul boldly identified himself as an Apostle, specifically an Apostle to the Gentiles.
Interestingly, identifying with the Gentiles was not necessarily a prestigious position within the religious consciousness of that generation. Yet Paul did not apologise for his assignment.
He declared:
«“I magnify my ministry.”
— Romans 11:13»
What a profound posture!
Paul did not spend his ministry wishing for another man's assignment.
He magnified what God had entrusted to him.
Can we do the same?
Pastor, magnify your office.
Evangelist, magnify your office.
Prophet, magnify your office.
Teacher, magnify your office.
Apostle, magnify your office.
Your honour or honorarium will not automatically increase because you changed your office or ministerial title.
Neither will your spiritual authority increase simply because people begin calling you “Apostle.”
Rather, there is a danger of becoming frustrated when pursuing an identity for which there is no corresponding divine grace.
There is grace for every divine assignment.
The question is not, “Which office receives the greatest honour?”
The question is:
“Lord, what have You called me to be, and how can I faithfully fulfil it?”
It is understandable to admire the global honour attached to ministers such as Apostle Arome Osayi, Apostle Joshua Selman, and the compelling oratorical expression of Apostle Michael Orokpo.
But their influence is not merely because of their titles. They have embraced the grace and assignment entrusted to them.
They have found their lane.
They have embraced their calling.
They have submitted themselves to the dealings of God.
Mantles are not acquired through imitation. They are given by divine ordination and stewarded through obedience.
Stop rehearsing the mantle of an office to which God has not called you.
There is dignity in obedience.
There is power in identity. | 55 |
