Rajab Has Passed, Sha‘ban Is Here, and Ramadan Is Not Far Away… What should we do in the month of Sha‘ban? 1) Increase Sunnah Fasting Aishah (رضي الله عنها) said: “The month that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ loved most for fasting was Sha‘ban, and he would continue fasting it into Ramadan.” (HR. Al-Bukhari no. 1969) 2) Increase Righteous Deeds This is because in the month of Sha‘ban, the deeds of all people are raised to Allah. So increase acts of worship such as prayer, reading the Qur’an, charity, dhikr, and other good deeds. 3) An Opportunity to Make Up Missed Ramadan Fasts For those who still have fasting debts from previous Ramadans, Sha‘ban is the time to complete them. 4) Focus on acts of worship that are clearly taught by the Prophet ﷺ, such as fasting, prayer, reading the Qur’an, dhikr, charity, and sincere du‘a, while seeking knowledge with wisdom and gentleness. 5) Prepare Yourself to Welcome Ramadan Learn the fiqh of Ramadan, increase repentance, and strengthen your good deeds. May Allah allow us to reach Ramadan in a state of readiness and sincerity. 🤲✨

Humans will disappoint us again & again. It doesn’t matter who they are or how much we love them, at some point, they will fall short. Not always because they are bad, but because they are human. And every disappointment is a quiet reminder that our hearts were never meant to rest in people. When we place our deepest hopes in creation, we burden them with a weight they were never created to carry. Only Allah is constant. Only He does not change, forget or fail. While people come and go, His presence remains. While promises break, His word stands firm. Allah says in the Quran : “And whoever relies upon Allah, then He is sufficient for him.” (Qur’an 65:3) There is a peace that comes when you stop expecting perfection from people & start expecting mercy from Allah. People may leave, misunderstand or hurt you, but Allah never abandons a heart that turns to Him sincerely. The Prophet saw said: “Know that if the entire nation were to gather together to benefit you with something, they would not benefit you except with something Allah had already written for you. And if they were to gather together to harm you, they would not harm you except with something Allah had already written against you.” (Tirmidhi) So let your heart love, but do not let it cling. Let it feel, but do not let it depend. Hold people gently but hold Allah firmly. Because when the heart is attached to Him, disappointment no longer breaks you, it redirects you. In the end, when everything else slips through your fingers, Allah will still be there, closer than your own breath, more faithful than any human heart could ever be.

for all of you here, saya mendoakan semoga Allah menghadiahkan ketenangan jiwa, meski badai hidup datang bertubi-tubi tanpa jeda. semoga Allah menjadi sandaran terkuat buat diri dan semoga Dia sentiasa memelukmu dengan rahmatNya 🤍

https://vt.tiktok.com/ZS5oss312 ••• we still have less than an hour til fajr, till the night of isra’ wal mi’raj ends, last few moments, here are some du’a templates that we can use tooo, in sya allah. taqaballahu minna wa minkum! ❤️

Isra’ Wal Mi’raj (27 Rejab) 🌙 Isra’ and Mi’raj is the miraculous night journey of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ that took place in a single night. Isra’ refers to the journey from Makkah to Masjid Al-Aqsa in Palestine, while Mi’raj is the ascension from Palestine through the seven heavens to the Divine Presence of Allah ﷻ. This event occurred during a very difficult period in the Prophet’s life, known as ‘Am al-Huzun (the Year of Sorrow), after the passing of his beloved wife Khadijah r.a. and his uncle Abu Talib. The Prophet ﷺ also faced rejection and violence in Ta’if, yet he responded with forgiveness and mercy. Isra’ and Mi’raj came as a gift, comfort, and honour from Allah during this time of hardship. During the journey, the Prophet ﷺ travelled with Angel Jibril a.s. on Buraq to Masjid Al-Aqsa, where he led all the previous Prophets in prayer. He then ascended through the heavens, meeting several Prophets along the way, until he reached Sidratul Muntaha, where he was granted the command of daily prayers. Through the Prophet’s compassion for his ummah, the obligation was reduced to five daily prayers, which Muslims observe today. The Prophet ﷺ returned to Makkah the same night. While some doubted him, his companions believed him without hesitation. This event remains a source of hope, faith, and reminder that Allah never abandons His servants. Lessons from Isra’ Mi’raj: • Hardship is always accompanied by ease • Salah is a direct gift from Allah and a core pillar of Islam • Prayer connects believers to Allah and grounds them spiritually How to commemorate Isra’ Mi’raj: • Fasting, especially in the sacred month of Rajab, for extra reward • Making abundant du’a, as Allah loves those who constantly turn to Him and ask Isra’ and Mi’raj reminds us to remain patient in hardship, stay connected through prayer, and trust that Allah’s mercy is always near. 🕊️

Never look down on anyone, even those who live in sin. What we see is only a moment of their journey, not the ending Allah has written for them. It may be that at the end of their life, Allah accepts their repentance & grants them a beautiful ending (husnul khatimah). While we judge, they may be returning to Him in sincerity & while we feel secure, our own ending remains unknown. So choose humility over arrogance, mercy over judgment & leave hearts & endings in the hands of Allah.

Friday Sunnah Reminders 🤍📿 We all know how special Jumaah (Friday) is in our Deen but we need reminders from time to time to recall the magnanimity of this golden day. Friday is no average day for Muslims. It has the honor of being called ‘best day of the week’ by the best person to ever exist- Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. 1. Send extra selawat to Rasulullah Rasulullah ﷺ said : “The person closest to me on the Day of Resurrection is the one who sent the most Selawat upon me.” 🖤 [ Sunan Al-Tirmidhi 484 ] 2. Read Surah Al-Kahfi We can read: A. The first 10 Ayahs of Surah Al-Kahf B. The last 10 Ayahs of Surah Al-Kahf C. Both A and B D. Ideally, the complete Surah Al-Kahf. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, he will be illuminated with light between the two Fridays.” [ Narrated by al-Haakim; Grade Sahih by al-Albaani ] 3. Mandi Jumaat [ Jumaah Shower ] Abu Sa’id Al-Khudr reports: I testify that Allah’s Messenger said, ‘The taking of a bath on Friday is compulsory for every Muslim who has attained the age of puberty and also cleaning of teeth with Siwak and using perfume, if available’. [ Sahih Bukhari ] 4. Use Fragance & New Piece of Clothings. “Put on your adornment on every occasion of prayer” [ Surat al-A’raf 7: 31 ] 5. Berdoa to Allah [ Send supplications to Allah ] 6. Trimming your nails Abu Hurayrah R.A. reported that ‘Five are the demonstrations of fitrah (nature/ instinct): 1. circumcision, 2. evacuating the hair underneath the navel, 3. trimming the mustache, 4. trimming the nails, and 5. culling the hair under the arms.’ 7. Make lots of Dua between Asr & Maghrib “There is a special hour on Friday, during which all prayers are accepted and answered by Allah, all Glory and Praise be to Him. This is part of the blessings that Allah has blessed this day with, over all the other days of the week. “On this day there is a time when no Muslim stands and prays, asking Allah for something, but Allah will grant him it” – and he gestured with his hands to indicate how short that time is. [ Bukhari and Muslim ] Ibn Al-Qayyim said that this golden hour is to be found in the time after the Asr prayer until the Maghrib Azan (end of day): “Friday has twelve hours (or part of it). There is one hour during which if a Muslim asks Allah anything, Allah will give it to him, so find it during the last hour after Asr.” [ Abu Dawud & An-Nasai ] Let’s do the virtues of Friday together! insha allah, if you can’t do everything, it’s okayy, don’t leave everything out okay. may Allah ease your affairs. 🕊 MD. @selfreflectionforummah

Salam semua, To everyone collecting their O-Level results today, may Allah ease your hearts and steady your emotions. Whatever is written on that slip does not define your worth or your future. You did your best, and Allah sees every effort. Trust that whatever outcome you receive is part of His perfect plan, even if you don’t understand it yet. May He open doors that are best for you, Amin. 🤣

💢 one factor about myself that many would consider saying is that, i simply get angry lesser. alhamdulillah, for the sabr that Allah has gifted me but at the same time, i feel like i am still not emotionally capable enough to say that i don’t get angry easily. to me, anger is a form of self sabotage, when you become angry, you are not aware of your surroundings and eventually your anger will take control. you will not think rationally, when you’re angry. anger is also a very dangerous emotion as it will consume your character eventually. people with anger tend to feel more irritated easily and this will lead to people around them not being easy with them. i know i might sound like im nagging or a fake psychologist, but this is my own opinion and observation. i feel like we as Muslims and infact Humans, we are capable of controlling our own emotions and anger, don’t let this anger, and feeling of Syaitan influence how people see you as a person. i am infact advicing this to myself first, then to all of you! They are˺ those who donate in prosperity and adversity, control their anger, and pardon others. And Allah loves the good-doers. { Ali ‘Imran ; 3:134 } all the good is from Allah, and the bad is from myself, wallahu ‘alam!

Life felt stagnant. Nothing was moving the way I wanted. I made du’a: “Ya Allah, put barakah in whatever You choose for me.” Things didn’t rush, but they aligned. Barakah changes the quality of your life.

“How could I forget you, when Allah Himself allowed your name to remain in my heart, so that I continue mentioning you in my du’a and prayers?” I stumbled upon this quote in a tiktok video last year, and it stayed with me for a long time, making me reflect on how feelings like these are so common among people my age today. Many of us are carrying feelings we don’t know what to do with, love, attachment, longing, all while trying our best to be on our deen. Feeling deeply is human but Islam teaches us to be mindful of what we allow to settle in our hearts. Sometimes, a name staying in our heart is not a sign to chase, but a test of restraint, sincerity, and trust in Allah. Making du’a for someone doesn’t always mean they are meant to stay in your life. Sometimes, it means Allah is teaching us how to love without crossing the line, and how to let go without bitterness 🤣 Allah swt reminds us: “Perhaps you dislike something which is good for you, and like something which is bad for you. Allah knows, and you do not.” ( 2:216) And the Prophet ﷺ said: “If Allah loves a servant, He tests him.” (Tirmidhi) When I was feeling this way earlier last year and finally let it out of my chest, I was told that in the future, I’d realise that Allah is the Best of all planners, and I know, He will bless me with someone familiar, but better in ways I never imagined. If something was truly meant for you, it would come in a halal, calm, and peaceful way. The best thing we can do is make du’a, and being happy for them means not disturbing their peace 😍 May Allah guide our hearts, purify our intentions, protect us from our nafs, and replace attachments that weigh us down with a peace that draws us closer to Him. Amin amin amin. 💚
