Repost from Darul Ilm
It's really strange. When you get your degree, people ask you when you're getting a job.
When you get a job, people ask when you'll get that promotion.
When you gain weight, they'll tell to shed some pounds. When you lose it, they'll say you're too skinny.
When you buy a Ford, people will ask when you'll get that BMW.
When you don't wear the hijab, people will tell you it's time. When you put it on, people will say - 'What's the point if you sin?'
When you are single, people ask you when you're getting married. When you're married, they'll ask why you have no kids. When you are blessed with a couple - they'll ask why you have so many. If you get divorced - they'll ask why? If you move on, people will say, 'Why so quick?'
Moral: People will never be happy and they'll never stop talking. Forget them. Focus on pleasing the Creator not creation.

Friday Sunnah Reminders 🤍📿
We all know how special Jumaah (Friday) is in our Deen but we need reminders from time to time to recall the magnanimity of this golden day.
Friday is no average day for Muslims. It has the honor of being called ‘best day of the week’ by the best person to ever exist- Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
1. Send extra selawat to Rasulullah
Rasulullah ﷺ said :
“The person closest to me on the Day of Resurrection is the one who sent the most Selawat upon me.” 🖤 [ Sunan Al-Tirmidhi 484 ]
2. Read Surah Al-Kahfi
We can read:
A. The first 10 Ayahs of Surah Al-Kahf
B. The last 10 Ayahs of Surah Al-Kahf
C. Both A and B
D. Ideally, the complete Surah Al-Kahf.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, he will be illuminated with light between the two Fridays.” [ Narrated by al-Haakim; Grade Sahih by al-Albaani ]
3. Mandi Jumaat [ Jumaah Shower ]
Abu Sa’id Al-Khudr reports: I testify that Allah’s Messenger said, ‘The taking of a bath on Friday is compulsory for every Muslim who has attained the age of puberty and also cleaning of teeth with Siwak and using perfume, if available’. [ Sahih Bukhari ]
4. Use Fragance & New Piece of Clothings.
“Put on your adornment on every occasion of prayer” [ Surat al-A’raf 7: 31 ]
5. Berdoa to Allah [ Send supplications to Allah ]
6. Trimming your nails
Abu Hurayrah R.A. reported that ‘Five are the demonstrations of fitrah (nature/ instinct): 1. circumcision, 2. evacuating the hair underneath the navel, 3. trimming the mustache, 4. trimming the nails, and 5. culling the hair under the arms.’
7. Make lots of Dua between Asr & Maghrib
“There is a special hour on Friday, during which all prayers are accepted and answered by Allah, all Glory and Praise be to Him. This is part of the blessings that Allah has blessed this day with, over all the other days of the week. “On this day there is a time when no Muslim stands and prays, asking Allah for something, but Allah will grant him it” – and he gestured with his hands to indicate how short that time is. [ Bukhari and Muslim ]
Ibn Al-Qayyim said that this golden hour is to be found in the time after the Asr prayer until the Maghrib Azan (end of day): “Friday has twelve hours (or part of it). There is one hour during which if a Muslim asks Allah anything, Allah will give it to him, so find it during the last hour after Asr.” [ Abu Dawud & An-Nasai ]
Let’s do the virtues of Friday together! insha allah, if you can’t do everything, it’s okayy, don’t leave everything out okay.
may Allah ease your affairs. 🕊

The Prophet ﷺ taught us that Allah is Gentle & loves gentleness in all matters. & again & again, our deen reminds us that mercy is never insignificant in the sight of Allah.
Whenever i think of that, I’m reminded that Allah does not measure our deeds the way people do. What seems small to us may be immense to Him. A soft heart, a kind intention, a moment of compassion shown quietly, these are deeds Allah sees even when the world does not.
It teaches me that kindness does not need recognition & mercy does not need to be loud. Feeding an animal, helping without being seen, choosing gentleness over harshness, these are the actions that carry barakah when they are done sincerely for Allah alone.
Perhaps it is these quiet moments of mercy that Allah loves most. Perhaps it is through them that hearts are softened, sins are forgiven & doors we never imagined are opened.
Because with Allah, no act rooted in sincerity, no matter how small, is ever wasted.

Alhamdulillah, its raining in Singapore on a Friday ☔️
while we enjoy the breeze from the wind, let’s not forget to recite the du’a when it is raining!
du’a when 🌧️:
اللّهُمَّ صَيِّـباً نافِـعاً
Allahumma shoyibban nafi’a
O Allah, make it a beneficial rain!
Sahih Bukhari 1032.

Before we step into 2026, I want to share this from my heart. This past year wasn’t easy for many of us. There were moments of growth, moments of pain, and moments where only Allah knew what we were truly carrying. But we’re still here, and that itself is a blessing.
Allah reminds us:
“Allah does not burden a soul beyond what it can bear.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:286) 🌼
Even when it felt heavy, Allah knew we were strong enough, with His help. I’m not perfect as I’m still learning, still trying, still returning to Allah again and again. This channel was never about being ‘alim, it’s about reminding one another, walking this journey together, and choosing Allah even on our hardest days.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“.... the best of sinners are those who repent.” (Tirmidhi) 🌼
As we enter 2026, let’s come with softer hearts and sincere intentions. May Allah forgive what’s behind us, bless what’s ahead, and keep us close to Him no matter where life takes us.
Thank you for being part of this journey. May Allah grant you ease, peace, and barakah in the year ahead. 🤣

As the year ends, i’m reminded that i didn’t make it through on my own. Allah carried me through days i thought i wouldn’t survive & stayed gentle with me even when i wasn’t gentle with myself. Some prayers were answered, some were delayed, some were replaced with something better.
“Allah is subtle with His servants” (Quran 42:19)
Ya Allah, accept whatever good came from me, forgive what fell short & let me return to You lighter than i was before.
May we start our new year with hearts turned back to Allah, even if we’re not fully healed yet. With intentions that are sincere, Do’as that are quiet & trust that Allah sees what no one else does.
“And whoever puts their trust in Allah, He is enough for them.” (Quran 65:3)
