a reminder for us that it's not easy to stay strong in our faith. life gets busy, we're constantly surrounded by distractions & sometimes we don't even realise we've slowly drifted away until one day we feel disconnected. i think many of us have experienced that at some point in our lives. that’s why seeking knowledge is so important. the more we learn about our deen, the more we understand the wisdom behind what Allah has commanded us & that understanding helps strengthen our iman. it’s not just about gaining knowledge for the sake of it, but allowing it to shape our hearts, our worship & the way we live our daily lives. the journey isn't about becoming perfect overnight. It's about taking that first step, being consistent & trusting that Allah will guide us as long as we're sincere in seeking Him. every effort we make to learn, even if it feels small, is something Allah knows & rewards. no matter where we are in our journey, it's never too late to start again. we all have room to grow & in the end, we're all just trying our best to become better Muslims & draw closer to Allah, InsyaAllah 🤍

i think a lot of us can relate to how u’re feeling. we may have learnt Islam when we were younger, but as we grow older, we realise we've forgotten quite a bit or didn't really understand the foundations properly. if u’re looking to relearn Islam, i wld say starting with Fardhu Ain is the best first step. it covers the essential knowledge that every Muslim should know & practise, such as aqidah, purification, prayer, fasting & other basic acts of worship. having a strong foundation in these makes it much easier to understand & appreciate the deeper aspects of Islam later on. that’s actually the approach we'll be taking in our classes too. we’ll be starting from the basics & building up gradually before moving into more in depth topics, so it's suitable whether you're revisiting what u’ve learnt before or starting afresh. we want everyone to have a solid foundation first before progressing further. if that's what u’re looking for, we'd love to have you join us, insyaAllah! 🤍

if u’re looking for somewhere to begin, we'd love to have you join our upcoming class, "The Power of Sincere Intentions." every journey back to Allah begins with making the right intention. when our intention is sincere, Allah opens doors to guidance in ways we may not expect. may Allah increase you in certainty, grant you a heart that finds peace in remembering Him & keep you firm upon the truth.

thank you for being so honest. what u’re feeling is actually something many people experience, even if they don't always talk about it. in Islam, faith isn't something that always stays at the same level, it increases & decreases. there are times when our hearts feel close to Allah & there are times when we struggle with doubts or feel distant. the fact that u’re worried about ur faith & that deep down you still want to believe is itself a sign that ur heart is seeking Allah. rather than feeling ashamed, let these feelings become a reason to seek knowledge & reconnect with Him. Allah invites us to reflect, ask questions & seek understanding so that our faith is built on certainty, not just emotion. that’s exactly why we've started these classes, to create a safe space for anyone who feels lost, has questions, or simply wants to strengthen their relationship with Allah. we pray that they become a means of guidance & benefit for everyone.

honestly my advice would be to advice him with kindness, but don't keep pushing if he's already closed his heart to listening. sometimes when a person is consumed by their emotions or ego, no amount of advice will reach them until Allah opens their heart. continue making sincere do’a for him, because guidance is only from Allah, & He can change a person's heart in an instant. at the same time, don't carry the burden of trying to save someone who isn't ready to be helped. you’ve done your part by caring & advising. the rest is in Allah's hands. may Allah guide him back to what is right, grant him wisdom, heal whatever is in his heart & make this trial a means for him to grow closer to Him.

waalaikumsalam! i know this season of your life feels really heavy & it's okay to feel tired & discouraged. but don't let these hardships make you lose hope in Allah's mercy. sometimes Allah delays what we want because He is preparing something better, or because the timing isn't right yet. keep making do’a, keep putting in your effort, & place your trust in Him. Remember that no effort done for the sake of Allah is ever wasted, even if you don't see the results immediately. what’s meant for you will never miss you, & what Allah has written for you will always find its way to you. may Allah ease your worries, grant you strength & patience, bless your final year project with success, & open the doors to the best internship for you. may He replace your stress with peace & your uncertainty with something far better than you imagined.

I was staring into the dark when i suddenly remembered something my mum once told me. "In the Akhirah, Allah will question every single thing we do." That thought stayed with me. Not just our prayers & fasting, but our work. How we earned our money & how we spent it. The way we treated our parents, our spouses, our children, our friends & even strangers. The words we spoke. The promises we made. The time we wasted. The blessings we were given but rarely thanked Allah for. Sometimes we think, "It's only a small good just a small sin," or "No one saw it." But Allah saw it. Sometimes we think, "It's only a small good deed." Allah saw that too. Allah says: "Whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it & whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it." (Surah Az-Zalzalah 99:7–8) The Prophet ﷺ also said that a person will not move from their place on the Day of Judgment until they are asked about their life, their youth, their wealth, how they earned it & how they spent it, & what they did with their knowledge. (Jami' at-Tirmidhi) One day, our jobs, our salaries, our titles, our followers & everything we spent so much time chasing will be left behind. The only thing that will accompany us into our graves is our deeds. May Allah make us mindful before we speak, before we act, before we earn, before we spend & before we meet Him. May He forgive our shortcomings, accept our repentance & make our questioning easy.

Coming back to Allah is one of the most beautiful journeys a person can take, but it can also feel intimidating. Sometimes the hardest part isn't changing, it's worrying about how other people will see you. You might wonder if they'll judge your past, question your sincerity, or point out every mistake you make along the way. But this journey isn't between you and people. It's between you & Allah. He is the One who knows your heart, your struggles, your intentions & every tear you've cried in private. His mercy is greater than any opinion & His door is always open to those who turn back to Him. People may judge based on what they see, but Allah judges with perfect knowledge & infinite mercy. Don't let the fear of others keep you from taking a step toward the One who has never stopped calling you back. Every sincere effort, no matter how small, is seen by Him. If you're returning to Allah, do it for Him alone. Let your heart find peace in His mercy rather than approval from people. May Allah keep us steadfast, forgive our shortcomings & make us among those who constantly return to Him 🤍
