—❗️🇸🇦/🇾🇪 WATCH: Ansarallah have released footage of shooting down a Saudi AH-6i helicopter in Najran with a surface-to-air missile
Saudi Arabia falsely claimed the helicopter crashed due to a ‘technical malfunction’, killing both pilots.

| 2 | 🇪🇬🇸🇦🇾🇪 — The Egyptian National Defense Council has approved providing 'all necessary and possible forms of support' to defend Saudi Arabia as Houthi attacks on the kingdom intensify.
The council, chaired by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, expressed full solidarity with Riyadh and called for diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the crisis.
The decision follows Sisi's pledge that Egypt would take any measures necessary to defend Saudi Arabia if requested, while stressing that any Egyptian role would be defensive.
The Egyptian Parliament was expected to hold an emergency session on Sunday to consider authorizing the deployment.

The position had been held on an acting basis by Brigadier General Majid Ebn-e-Reza since early March.
