| 12 |  +9EMSA–Haramaya University successfully conducted an experience-sharing visit to EMSA–Jigjiga University, aimed at strengthening collaboration between sister LC and promoting mutual learning.
Three years ago, EMSA-Haramaya supported the establishment of EMSA–Jigjiga. Returning now to EMSA–Haramaya delegation and witness the remarkable growth of the local chapter has been truly fulfilling. The transformation of Sheikh Hassan Yabare Comprehensive Specialized Hospital is also highly commendable.
The visit included interactive discussions and presentations focused on leadership, teamwork, project sustainability, and local chapter management. We were also pleased to formalize our collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, marking a new chapter of sustained partnership between us.
We sincerely thank EMSA–Jigjiga University for the warm welcome and hospitality. We look forward to a productive and long-lasting cooperation between our LC.

🤝 EMSA Haramaya & SCOME Haramaya are facilitating this collaboration, connecting eligible students with the hospital and ensuring smooth coordination throughout the program.
📚 Selected participants will receive proper training and supervision on accurate, ethical, and confidential medical records digitalization.
💰 Participants will be paid per patient document completed.
🏅 An official certificate of recognition will be awarded upon successful completion.
🌐 This initiative supports the hospital’s digital transformation while equipping students with practical skills in medical documentation, data handling, confidentiality, and health information systems.

EMSA-Haramaya C2 students, your engagement is needed.
Project C.U.R.E, in collaboration with Haramaya University, is hosting a Primary Care & Cervical Screening Campaign at Hiwot Fana Hospital from December 7–10, 2025.
We are looking for 12 committed clinical students who can participate activily on this activity.
Following selection, a volunteer schedule will be organized, and each time slot must have a minimum of 3 selected participants present to ensure smooth coordination.
📌Recent Breast Campaign certificates are currently being processed.
📌 Certificates will also be issued for this campaign.
