| 7 |  📣Gold Retests $4,000: Will Buyers Defend This Level Again?
Yesterday gold fell for no reason, in the same way that the price rose over the past week.
Gold is testing the 4000 area again, which is also a strong psychological area. Given that the decline was very aggressive, it is a bit difficult to predict when or where the next move may start.
However, we are almost close to a very strong area from which gold has reacted several times.
The current geopolitical and economic tension is still supporting the rise in the price of gold. The US-Iran war is escalating further, so the imported inflation from the oil price should affect all economies again unless Trump manipulates the price of OIL again as he did.

🟢U.S. stock index futures slipped as renewed concerns over hefty AI spending resurfaced following the first round of Big Tech earnings. Shares of Alphabet and Tesla were down in premarket trading following their earnings on Wednesday.
🟢During the day, investors will focus on Intel's second-quarter results after the market close and weekly jobless claims data for fresh clues on the health of the U.S. economy.

The U.S. Dollar Index (DXY) has once again reached a key resistance zone around 101.25–101.30, an area that has rejected price multiple times over the past few weeks.
Every previous test of this level attracted sellers, making it an important technical barrier to watch.
At the moment, the price is struggling to break above resistance, suggesting that bullish momentum may be fading. Unless buyers manage to secure a decisive breakout and hold above this zone, the probability favors another rejection.
A bearish reaction from here could send DXY toward the next support levels:

GBPJPY has spent the past several sessions correcting inside a falling wedge, a pattern that often signals the exhaustion of selling pressure within a broader bullish trend.
Price is now testing the upper boundary of the wedge, and a confirmed breakout could mark the beginning of a new bullish leg.
If bulls manage to close hold the wedge resistance, the first target is the previous supply zone around 218.75.
A sustained move above this level would increase the probability of extending the rally toward 219.35, where the next major resistance is located.
This setup remains high risk, as the Japanese yen can experience sharp volatility, especially around central bank comments
