Remember, that the dogmatic R&R apologists tell us that we must accept their ideas, and cannot hold Leo XIV to lack authority, because otherwise there would be no successors of the Apostles left.
And the men they tell us are the formal successors of the Apostles are the ones who get rid of their thrones and replace them with things like this.

But this "cathedra" is a good example of how these "formal successors" view themselves and their authority.
