| 3 | Imām Ibn al-Qayyim said:
“It has been experienced that whoever says seven times:
أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
‘Indeed, adversity has touched me, and You are the Most Merciful of those who show mercy,’
Allah will remove his affliction.”
al-Fawāʾid, p. 292
This is the supplication of the Prophet Ayyūb when he called upon Allah during his severe affliction:
أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
“Indeed, adversity has touched me, and You are the Most Merciful of those who show mercy.”
[Sūrah al-Anbiyāʾ 21:83] | 104 |
| 4 |  The scholars of Egypt wrote to Imām al-Nawawī رحمه الله , when he was still young and residing in Syria, asking:
“By what means did you attain this rank and acquire all this knowledge while you are still so young?”
He took a blank sheet of paper, made it into a scroll, and wrote at its head:
[وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَيُعَلِّمُكُمُ اللَّهُ]
“And fear Allah, and Allāh teaches you.”(Qurʾān 2:282)

| 6 |  It's said that the sun is surrounded by the moons, this is true, Āsh-'Ṣhaykhul Islam al-'Mujadid Faqeeh Ibn-Taymiyyāh رحمه الله was the sun.
Ibn-Taymiyyāh and his students رحمهم الله are indeed blessing to Ummāh of Muḥāmmaḍ.
May 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮̄𝗵 have mercy upon their souls and grant them the highest place In Jannāh. | 161 |

But their lives have ended, and their books of deeds have been closed.
Do not wait until you are wishing for just one more chance. You will never get it.

| 8 | We live in an era where many people are no longer moved by a reminder unless it is short and accompanied by humming or music-like vocals.
Could you imagine the Salaf listening to an admonition while someone sat beside them humming into one ear?
The stark difference between us and them.
Hassan al-Basri رحمه الله said
“I encountered men who, if you were to see them, you would say, ‘They are mad!’ And if they were to see you, they would say, ‘These people are devils!’
If they were to see the best among you, they would say, ‘These people have no share [of goodness],’ and if they were to see the worst among you, they would say, ‘These are people who do not believe in the Day of Reckoning.’”
