When Imam Muḥammad ibn ʿAbdulWahhāb cut down a tree that the people sought blessings from, they would gather and watch him, believing that he would be struck by some punishment because of it.
This reminds me of the famous report concerning ʿUmar رضي الله عنه and the tree of Bayʿat al-Riḍwān.
Ibn Waḍḍāḥ (d. 287 AH) records:
“ʿUmar b. al-Khaṭṭāb ordered that the tree beneath which allegiance had been pledged to the Prophet ﷺ be cut down, so it was cut down, because people had begun going there and praying beneath it, and he feared fitnah for them.”
This is pure Tawheed!

| 3 | Imam Muqbil al-Wādiʿī (رحمه الله) said:
“Those who attack the scholars, their call will eventually cease, while the scholars remain.”
A warning for us all.
He also said:
“Returning to the scholars is a path of salvation.”
Sincere advice and sound direction.
We know that our scholars are not infallible. When a scholar from Ahl al-Sunnah errs, his mistake is refuted with knowledge and justice, while his honor is preserved.
There are many examples of this.
Imam al-Dhahabī (رحمه الله) said:
“If everyone who erred in his ijtihād, despite the soundness of his faith and his sincere desire to follow the truth, were to be abandoned and labeled an innovator, then very few of the Imams would remain safe with us.”
What we are witnessing today from trolls and unknown accounts is abhorrent behavior and a clear violation of proper Islamic etiquette.

‘Indeed, adversity has touched me, and You are the Most Merciful of those who show mercy,’
Allah will remove his affliction.”

This is the supplication of the Prophet Ayyūb when he called upon Allah during his severe affliction:
أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
“Indeed, adversity has touched me, and You are the Most Merciful of those who show mercy.”
[Sūrah al-Anbiyāʾ 21:83] | 283 |
| 13 |  The scholars of Egypt wrote to Imām al-Nawawī رحمه الله , when he was still young and residing in Syria, asking:
“By what means did you attain this rank and acquire all this knowledge while you are still so young?”
He took a blank sheet of paper, made it into a scroll, and wrote at its head:
[وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَيُعَلِّمُكُمُ اللَّهُ]
“And fear Allah, and Allāh teaches you.”(Qurʾān 2:282)

| 15 |  It's said that the sun is surrounded by the moons, this is true, Āsh-'Ṣhaykhul Islam al-'Mujadid Faqeeh Ibn-Taymiyyāh رحمه الله was the sun.
Ibn-Taymiyyāh and his students رحمهم الله are indeed blessing to Ummāh of Muḥāmmaḍ.
May 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮̄𝗵 have mercy upon their souls and grant them the highest place In Jannāh. | 303 |
| 16 | Whenever you hear the adhan, remember that there are people in their graves wishing they could make just one sujud, say one tasbih, or make one istighfar.
But their lives have ended, and their books of deeds have been closed.
Do not wait until you are wishing for just one more chance. You will never get it.

| 17 | We live in an era where many people are no longer moved by a reminder unless it is short and accompanied by humming or music-like vocals.
Could you imagine the Salaf listening to an admonition while someone sat beside them humming into one ear?
The stark difference between us and them.
Hassan al-Basri رحمه الله said
“I encountered men who, if you were to see them, you would say, ‘They are mad!’ And if they were to see you, they would say, ‘These people are devils!’
If they were to see the best among you, they would say, ‘These people have no share [of goodness],’ and if they were to see the worst among you, they would say, ‘These are people who do not believe in the Day of Reckoning.’”
