| 6 | 🚨#PSA We’re stepping up checks on indiscriminate bicycle parking and abandoned bicycles around key transport nodes, to better manage our bicycle parking facilities and free up space for other users. 🚲
⚠️ Since Jan 2026, we’ve removed 186 bicycles and other devices from bicycle parking areas in Yishun, Paya Lebar, Sengkang East and more. #UpLorry
👮♂️ Our enforcement team will continue to conduct regular checks to manage indiscriminate parking and abandoned bicycles. Such bicycles will be tagged with a notice, and may be impounded if not removed within the stipulated period.
With the expanding cycling path network, we’ll also review and expand bicycle parking at key transport nodes to ensure that facilities are sufficient and well-designed to support cyclists' needs.
#Reminder Park your bicycles responsibly in designated bicycle parking facilities to avoid obstructing pedestrian flow and access to shared public spaces. | 6 555 |
| 7 | 👮♂️🚨 We recently conducted a 9-day joint enforcement operation with the Singapore Police Force against active mobility (AM) offences at identified hotspots such as key congregation areas, town centres and selected residential locations.
During the operation, we spotted more than 200 offences and seized over 100 AM devices and motor vehicles. #UpLorry
Common offences include:
🚫 Keeping non-compliant PABs
🚫 Using improper, obscured, or tampered number plates
🚫 Keeping non-UL2272 PMDs
In a separate operation, we also caught the user who was seen riding a PMD at high speeds along Keppel Road while attempting a dangerous ‘Superman’ stunt in May 2026. The device was seized and further investigations are ongoing.
We’ll continue to ramp up our enforcement efforts to keep our public paths safe.
🤳 If you spot errant users, report them at go.gov.sg/report-am. | 7 828 |

Among them:
💨~70 vehicles were fitted with illegal exhausts
🚘~80 vehicles were caught with improper lights
🚙~90 vehicles displayed improper number plates, including those with incorrect sizing or were not prominently displayed at the front and back of the vehicle
We will continue taking firm action against offenders to keep our roads safe for all. These offences carry serious penalties:
🚔 Illegal modifications: Fines up to $20,000 and/or 2 years' imprisonment. Repeat offenders face double the penalties.
🚨 Improper number plates: Fines up to $1,000 and/or 3 months' imprisonment. Repeat offenders face double the penalties.

| 9 | #PSA From 1 Jan 2027, the Public Service Vehicle Permit (PSVP) fee for Malaysia-registered taxis entering Singapore will be raised to S$15 per trip.
This will help to narrow the cost gap between local and Malaysia-registered taxis operating in Singapore.
#Reminder For your safety, only use licensed taxis for cross-border travel as they have valid insurance coverage.
We will continue to take enforcement action against illegal point-to-point services to safeguard commuter safety and driver livelihoods. | 6 757 |
| 10 | 👮♂️🚨 We continue to act on regular tip-offs from the National Private Hire Vehicles Association and National Taxi Association to enforce against illegal cross-border ride-hailing services. During our recent enforcement operations, 7 drivers were caught and their vehicles impounded.
🚗 #DidYouKnow Since July 2025, we've checked over 5,000 vehicles as part of ongoing efforts to safeguard commuter safety and protect the livelihoods of licensed drivers.
⚠️ Drivers caught providing illegal ride-hailing services may face fines of up to $3,000 and/or 6 months’ jail, with possible vehicle forfeiture.
🚕 #Reminder For your safety, only book a licensed cross-border ride-hailing service on Grab or have a Singapore-registered cross-border taxi pick you up anywhere in Singapore, for drop-off anywhere in Johor Bahru, Iskandar Puteri, Forest City, Kulai and Senai.

| 11 | Will the blue ERP2.0 road markings be slippery when it rains? 🤔
This is one of the questions we’ve received from motorists.
Your safety is our priority. Before the trial began, we conducted skid resistance tests under wet conditions at all five trial locations to assess the road markings’ grip and ensure they meet the required standards. ✅The trial markings achieved a safety value of 56-67 British Pendulum Number (BPN), above Singapore’s safe road surface standard of 55 BPN.
We welcome feedback from motorists. Share your thoughts with us at LTA_Pilot_GNSS@lta.gov.sg.
Thank you for your patience and support as we prepare for the transition to a gantry-less ERP system in 2027. 🚗🛣️ | 7 262 |
| 12 | 🚶♀️🚲🚆 The spaces we share mean different things to different people.
Along every path, walkway, and station, countless journeys unfold side by side.
As part of the Land Transport Master Plan (#LTMP), we're exploring how our shared spaces can better support the way Singaporeans live, move, and connect, making it safer and more comfortable for everyone.
Because when we design for different needs, we create places that work better for all.

| 15 | 🚌 Have you spotted our new fare card readers?
We are upgrading our bus ticketing system with enhanced card readers and are currently testing them ahead of a fleetwide rollout by end-2027.
Key improvements to make fare payment on buses more intuitive include:
✅ Larger display screens with bigger text
✅ Sharper, higher-resolution visuals
✅ Faster updates of card transaction information for SimplyGo payments
✅ The ability to pay fares by tapping anywhere on the screen
Testing the new readers under real-world operating conditions allows us to evaluate their performance and reliability before they are rolled out across the fleet. This will help ensure a smoother and more user-friendly experience for commuters.
