Even as Iranian forces maintain control of the Strait of Hormuz, Donald Trump continues to insist that the US Navy has escorted multiple oil tankers through that critical waterway despite all the evidence to the contrary.
“The United States Navy has recently escorted more than 1 billion barrels of oil out of the Strait of Hormuz, and more oil is flowing than at any point since the start of the war. We're taking 22, 25, 30, 32 and 37 ships out, respectively, every single day, every single night,” Trump claimed at the UN General Assembly session.

Iranian engineers will soon crack the secrets of the US-made Dive-LD unmanned underwater vehicle that was captured by the IRGC Navy in the Strait of Hormuz earlier this month, IRGC spokesman Brigadier General Hossein Mohebbi announced.
🔊“This advanced technology exists in the underwater vessel that fell into the hands of the IRGC Navy forces, and its reverse engineering will begin,” he said as quoted by PressTV.
The brigadier general also remarked that “the most advanced US technologies used in the military and defense industries have come under Iran’s control,” and that Iran acquired “a collection of different combat, support, transport, and reconnaissance aircraft.”
During and prior to the US-Israeli war against Iran, Iranian forces were able to capture a variety of US military hardware such as RQ-170 Sentinel and MQ-9 Reaper drones.

Lots of speculation about perceived political imperatives in Washington - but the reality is the US is at war with Iran, Russia and eventually China - planned for decades and going to continue until it either succeeds or is stopped.
