🔴Yemeni and regional media report that Ansar Allah (Houthis) launched missile and drone strikes targeting the Abha International Airport and Saudi Arabia's Asir region, with reports claiming flights at the airport have been suspended.
🔴Regional outlets, including Iraq's Al Ahad TV, reported explosions in Asir and said a missile struck the airport. They also cited a Saudi-led coalition spokesperson as claiming the incoming missiles were intercepted by air defenses.
🔴According to the same reports, Saudi authorities have restricted the publication of photos and videos from Abha Airport following the incident. Riyadh has not issued an official statement on the reported attack or any damage to the airport.

🇳🇬 President Tinubu has directed the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) to enroll every Nigerian into the national identity database by the end of 2026, the commission’s Director-General and Chief Executive Officer, Abisoye Coker-Odusote, said.
1️⃣ One Person, One Identity
The National Identification Number (NIN) serves as a unique identifier "so that you're only enrolled once," she said.
🔍 Why NIN Matters
Coker-Odusote explains that this exercise will determine Nigeria's actual population—currently estimated to be between 200 and 250 million—adding that this NIN is basically "the foundation for effective governance and service delivery. How can you plan if you don’t know the total number of persons that you have?"
📄 Better Duplicate Prevention
Unlike the old system that caught duplicates only after submission, the current biometric verification system—using fingerprints and facial recognition—stops multiple registrations in real time, she explained.
🪪 What the Law Changes
The new law makes NIN the foundational credential for banking, passports, taxes, pensions, land transactions, and consumer credit—reinforcing "One Person, One Identity."

Typical Travel Route
Fly into Poland — Usually to Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport (RZE, near the Ukrainian border) or Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW).
Transfer to train — From there, they board a secure overnight train operated by Ukrainian Railways (Ukrzaliznytsia) from stations like Przemyśl or Warsaw to Kyiv.
The train is often specially arranged with enhanced security.
How Long Is the Trip?
Train ride: Approximately 8–12 hours (overnight) from Przemyśl to Kyiv, depending on the exact route and border processing.
