The Causal Body: Our Cosmic Bank Account in Heaven Although the causal body is depicted as colored rings, it's actually interpenetrating spheres of light surrounding each one's I AM Presence. The causal body's spheres contain the records of our virtuous acts from our many incarnations. It is our cosmic bank account in heaven. Each color of the causal body relates to one of the seven rays of God's consciousness. In the center is the white light, the Mother Light from which all rays manifest. Those who strive for excellence, purity, self-discipline, integration, perfection, and wholeness, and who carry the attributes of joy and hope, will have a larger white sphere in their causal bodies. Moving outward from the center, we see the yellow band. Its attributes are illumination, wisdom, understanding, humility, cosmic consciousness, and open-mindedness. It also distinguishes between self-knowledge and Self-knowledge — the lower "s" denotes our human self, while the capital "S" represents our higher Self. The pink ray shows mastery of love, compassion, beauty, selflessness, sensitivity, appreciation, comfort, creativity, charity, and generosity. The violet ray focuses on freedom, mercy, forgiveness, justice, transcendence, alchemy, transmutation, diplomacy, intuition, prophecy, and revelation. Those who have mastery of the purple and gold ray display peace, brotherhood, selfless service, right desire, balance, and harmlessness. The green sphere expands as we gain mastery over truth, vision, holding the highest vision of oneself and others, healing, wholeness, abundance, constancy, focus, music, and science. The blue sphere shows mastery of power, will, faith, protection, direction, courage, obedience, and strength. We can expand each ray of our causal body through our daily service and devotion. The Holy Christ Self It is known that all energy has a frequency, or a vibratory rate, and that Spirit has a higher vibration than matter. When souls left the plane of pure Spirit, they adapted more and more to the lower frequencies of matter and less and less to the higher frequencies of the I AM Presence. Once in the denser realms of matter, the soul required an intercessor to mediate between Spirit and matter. The pure stream of light from the Presence no longer had a "chalice" — a place in matter that could hold the light. It became necessary to bridge the gap in frequency between the soul, which had descended in vibration, and the I AM Presence, which remained the pure essence of God. The mediator of this light is a level of consciousness that all the mystics of all the major world religions have identified and experienced as a level of Higher Consciousness. In Christianity it is called the Christ Consciousness. In Buddhism, the Buddha Consciousness. In Hinduism, the Krishna Consciousness. In the mystical teachings of Judaism — the Kabbalah — this level of consciousness is called Tiferet. The ascended masters often call it the "Holy Christ Self." The Crystal Cord: Our Lifeline to Spirit In the Chart of the Divine Self, the soul is represented by the lower figure. How does the soul, now residing in a dense physical body, connect with the vast storehouse of spiritual light in her Causal Body? The light descends to the soul through the "crystal cord," or "silver cord," illustrated by the thin white line in the chart. Many clairvoyants throughout history have reported seeing this silvery cord with their inner sight. The cord originates in the Father-Mother God in the Great Central Sun. It can be compared to the umbilical cord that ties a child to its mother — it is the lifeline that ties us to Spirit. Divine light-energy flows from our Father-Mother God over the crystal cord to the I AM Presence, then continues over the cord to the soul residing in the physical body. The ascended masters have given us a great tool to help us “see” what we really look like. It’s called the Chart of Your Divine Self. The chart shows the relationship of the individual, as a soul in a physical body, to the Divine Self. And it provides a physical view of the non-physical portion of our beings. It gives us the total picture. The chart is a linear representation of what is actually a multidimensional manifestation of radiant, vibrating light-energy. In reality, the lower, middle and upper figures in the chart are overlapping fields of energy vibrating at different frequencies, from denser physical energy to light-energy vibrating at a higher rate. The Higher Self, depicted by the two upper figures in the chart, has been seen by people with highly developed spiritual sight. Some people who have had near-death experiences and then have later seen this chart have confirmed that this is the energy field that they saw around people when they were on the other side. Dannion Brinkley, author of the book, Saved by the Light, had three near-death experiences. He has told audiences that, in the unseen world, they look like the upper figures in this chart. This visual tool can help explain the connection between the different components of our total being, which are both physical and spiritual. When it is clear how all the parts interact, it is much easier to create an intimate relationship with the Higher Self. Mary's Appearances Mary's ascension is celebrated on the 15th of August. Since her ascension, Mother Mary has appeared throughout the world, producing many miracles of healing. She set the stage for these appearances in the later years of her final embodiment, when she visited various areas of the world accompanied by John the Beloved and five others. They went first to the retreat at Luxor, Egypt, then by boat to the Island of Crete across the Mediterranean Sea, through the Straits of Gibraltar, stopping at Fátima in Portugal, Lourdes in Southern France, and Glastonbury in the British Isles and Ireland. In all these places, Mary and those serving with her drew focuses of the fifth ray, establishing the flame of science, healing and precipitation, preparing the way for those who would come after her to amplify the Christ consciousness. These visits laid the foundation for the work of the apostle Paul in Greece and for Mary's own appearances at Fátima and Lourdes. The Holy Grail, the cup used by Jesus at the Last Supper, was buried in a well at Glastonbury. Here the flame of the Christ was planted, later inspiring King Arthur to form the Knights of the Round Table and to engage in the quest for the Holy Grail. Saint Patrick drew upon the focus of the threefold flame placed in Ireland and later taught the mystery of the Trinity, using the shamrock to illustrate the oneness of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The emerald-green healing flame remains the symbol of Ireland, in remembrance of that journey long ago by those seven representatives whose devotion to the seven rays paved the way for the expansion of Christianity throughout Europe and, ultimately, the Western Hemisphere. Mother Mary and the Immaculate Concept Mother Mary is one of the great teachers of mankind. She instructs us in the science of the immaculate concept, the pure concept or image of the soul held in the mind of God. The immaculate concept is any pure thought held by one part of life for and on behalf of another part of life. It is the essential ingredient to every alchemical experiment, needed for it to succeed. The ability to hold the image of the perfect pattern to be brought into being, to see the vision of a project complete, to draw a mental picture, to retain it and fill it with light, love and joy — these are the keys to the science that Mother Mary and Saint Germain teach. God is the supreme practitioner of the science of the immaculate concept. However far a soul might wander, God ever beholds that soul in the image of Reality in which he created it. Every angel in heaven practices this same science. It is written in the inward parts of man, known by his very heart of hearts, even when it grows dim in the memory of the outer mind. Mother Mary: Her Later Years After the forty-day period during which Jesus appeared to the apostles and holy women in the upper room, Mary gathered the inner circle of devotees who had prepared themselves for the mysteries of initiation. They met often to receive her instruction and the teaching and word of Jesus Christ. With the descent of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, this community became the body of God on earth, and their consecration formed the foundation of the Christian Church. Mary was the acknowledged head of that community of lightbearers — the center of the circle of apostles, disciples and holy women. She was the true fountainhead of Christic energies flowing throughout the Holy Land, the Mediterranean and Asia Minor. From her heart, concentric rings of fire, the fire of the Holy Ghost, moved outward as the ever-widening embrace of the Father-Mother holding all humanity in the geometry of love. Mary is believed to have spent her last years in Jerusalem, making her transition around the year 48. Local tradition holds that John took her to Ephesus for a time to escape persecution in Jerusalem. The strongest evidence points back to the Cenacle, the upper room of the Last Supper where the apostles gathered after Jesus' departure. The book of Acts records the apostles continuing together in prayer with the women, including Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren. The Mother of the early Church kept the flame of the Mother on behalf of earth's evolutions on Mount Zion, in a house overlooking the city, the temple, the Cedron Valley and the Mount of Olives. In that upper chamber — which became the gathering place of the disciples and the site of the first Christian church — Mary served the Logos during her final years of glory. Christians honor this place today in memory of the dormition, the "falling asleep," of the Blessed Mother. Mother Mary's Service Today Today Mother Mary works with the master El Morya and the Darjeeling Council in their service to the will of God on behalf of all mankind. She carries a blue cape focusing that will and its protection for the Christ consciousness emerging within every soul. When called upon, she places that cape around anyone in need of the protection of a mother's love. She renders assistance with Archangel Gabriel in preparing the way for incoming children, teaching parents, and guiding the body elementals in forming their physical bodies. Mary's focus of the Sacred Heart lives in the Resurrection Temple over the Holy Land, where she also serves alongside Jesus. This is the focus of the threefold flame commemorating the mission of the Christ of the Holy Trinity. Her service with Saint Germain and Jesus laid the foundation for two thousand years of Christian belief and service, and for the coming age as well. Mary has said: "My appearances through the centuries have centered on the request for prayer and for the giving of the rosary for the saving of souls. Millions have been saved because millions have responded to my call." In 1984, she said: "I live with the Fátima prophecy. I live with its message. And I go from door to door and heart to heart knocking, asking for those who will come and pray with me — pray the violet flame or the rosary or the calls to Archangel Michael. But above all, pray. For by thy prayer is the open door extended, and the angels come stepping through the veil to prevent disaster and calamity." Miracles have followed her intercession again and again. When the atomic bomb fell on Hiroshima in 1945, eight men living eight blocks from the blast center were miraculously spared harm. One of them, Father Hubert Shiffner, explained: "In that house the rosary was prayed every day. In that house, we were living the message of Fátima." Mother Mary: Mother of Jesus Mary was chosen by God to bear Jesus the Christ in her final embodiment. Her twin flame, Archangel Raphael, together with members of the angelic host and the God and Goddess Meru, assisted in the development of the Mother principle within her, so that her consciousness might become a womb for the seed of the Christ. When she was still a young girl, Joseph, an embodiment of Saint Germain, was sent to be her guardian and protector, and later that of Jesus. Together, the three members of the Holy Family formed the foundation for family unity. In early childhood, Mary was placed in a temple to train in the science of the immaculate concept. This is the pure image of the soul held in the mind of God. For thousands of years, Mary built spiritual power on the fifth ray, preparing to bring the Christ into form. She learned to hold the perfect image, or blueprint, of the Christ. This is the calling of the feminine ray of the Motherhood of the Godhead. It is to visualize, and through consciousness let the Holy Spirit's power flow to give the vision form and life. Mary fulfilled this role for Jesus. Through her consciousness came the purity, power and love that enabled him to fulfill his mission. During the final three years of his ministry, after his return from the Far East where he studied in the Himalayas under his guru, Lord Maitreya, Jesus entered public life. This period tested Mary greatly, and only her momentum on the fifth ray enabled her to sustain the matrix of victory to the very end. Mother Mary: Embodiments on Earth In the early days of Atlantis, Mother Mary served in the Healing Temple, tending the flame and studying the healing arts and the disciplines of precipitation. She developed deep concentration and devotion to the immaculate concept during this time. Her consciousness and momentum sustained the flame in the temple and carried its influence throughout Atlantis. The purity of her heart flame shone on her face for all who came to the temple to see. She remained a temple virgin for that entire embodiment. In the days of the prophet Samuel, Mary was called to be the wife of Jesse and the mother of his eight sons. In this incarnation, she magnified the light of the seven rays of the Christ in Jesse's first seven sons. In the youngest, David, she glorified the full complement of these virtues along with the majesty of the eighth ray, which David carried into his reign and his psalms. David himself was later reembodied as Jesus. Today in Jerusalem, the Cenacle holds both a room where Christians pray in memory of the Last Supper and a temple where Jews honor the Tomb of David. Mary holds the distinction of being Mother to both the Judaic and Christian dispensations. In her final embodiment, Mary came forth as the mother of Jesus. Mother Mary's Ascension Day — Feast of the Assumption August 15 is Mother Mary's Ascension Day, the Feast of the Assumption. Mother Mary, by the grace of her soul's initiations under the Cosmic Virgin, is the one anointed by God to bear to us the Christ in the person of Jesus. Saint John of Damascus describes how, at the close of her magnificent embodiment of service and initiation, Mary ascended from the tomb where the apostles had placed her body. When they opened the tomb three days later, they found only twelve white lilies. After her ascension, Mary was made representative of the World Mother, with the title Queen of Heaven for the Christian Dispensation. While all ascended lady masters keep the flame for the World Mother as her representative, we think of Mary as the archetype of Motherhood, the Mother of mothers. Until 1954, Jesus and Mary held the focus of the masculine and feminine rays for the sixth dispensation. At that time, Saint Germain and Portia assumed the office of directors for the coming age on the seventh ray. As we enter this new era, Mother Mary has released a New Age Hail Mary and a New Age rosary. In giving it, she asks us to affirm that we are sons and daughters of God, and to affirm our victory over sin, disease and death. Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Mother Mary: Archeia of the Fifth Ray Mother Mary serves as the archeia of the fifth ray. She is the twin flame of Archangel Raphael. Though she holds the office of archangel, Mary has also taken physical embodiment. Before coming to earth, she dwelt on Venus. The Lords of Karma assigned Mary to earth to show forth the raising of the feminine ray following the fall of Eve. On Venus, Mary served among evolutions whose energies focalize on the etheric plane. Clearing and Sealing the Chakras Our chakras pick up energy from everything around us — which is exactly why protection matters. When we're shielded, we stay steady even around someone who's glum, or in a crowded mall that would otherwise leave us drained. Protection keeps our own vibration intact, so we hold onto our energy instead of letting anything with a lesser vibration draw it away. We also carry karmic debris around our chakras. Every moment, energy flows to us, and what we do with it — help or harm — determines what comes back to us. Energy we've used to harm returns seeking resolution, building up around our energy centers like leaves clogging a drain. Two tools help with this work. The Crown Chakra Through the crown chakra, we receive wisdom and enlightenment. Education prepares us to receive our higher mind, but the intellect itself is not the mind of God. Bill, a computer programmer, learned this firsthand. When a program grew too complex, his instinct was to give up. But centering himself as a chalice for God, an answer would arrive from somewhere he couldn't name. Our higher intelligence can bring us answers reason alone never could. Slowing down and stilling the outer mind prepares us to receive those impulses — enough sleep and exercise, foods that strengthen rather than weigh us down (too much oil leaves us sluggish, too much salt or coffee leaves us jittery), and real time for meditation and communion with God. The deepest work of the crown is seeing beyond duality. As long as we relate to God and to each other as separate, we haven't touched this center's highest energies. When we recognize there are not two but one, God shares all of himself with us — because we have given all of ourselves to him. This initiation demands we let go of pride, ego and aloofness, and live our spirituality practically, with arms open to everyone. The Throat Chakra Through correct use of the throat chakra, we can be co-creators with God for personal and world transformation. In Genesis 1:3 God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.” Every word, thought and feeling creates a vibration and a form, continually imprinting our energy field or aura for good or ill. Idle chatter drains the throat chakra, while purposeful silence, mantra and prayer restore it. Research shows that just ten minutes of repeated mantra or prayer can lower heart rate and stress and help regulate metabolism. Our subconscious records the impressions we absorb, including what others say about us, and can replay them automatically. Positive affirmations help replace these old, unhelpful messages. The most potent affirmations use the name I AM, the name God gave to Moses. Whatever follows “I AM” manifests in our world.
