| 2 |  On Thursday, 11th June, the University of the Spirit welcomes Serapis Bey as our teacher for the next two weeks, through to Wednesday 24th June.
Serapis Bey is the chohan of the fourth ray of purity and the hierarch of the Ascension Temple and Retreat at Luxor, Egypt. This week we explored the ascension — and it is Serapis Bey who presides over the Ascension Temple at Luxor, where most souls receive the initiation of the ascension at the close of their final lifetime. His sessions arrive at precisely the right moment.
At Luxor, Serapis Bey teaches the requirements of the ascension and how to fulfil them.
Known as the Great Disciplinarian, he assists his students in the self-disciplines necessary for the ascension — the disciplining of the four lower bodies so that the Christ may use them as vehicles for service and attainment, and the acceleration of the threefold flame in the heart of every soul striving toward the goal.
You may wish to use this prayer each night to attend his sessions while your body sleeps:
Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit. Mighty I AM Presence and Holy Christ Self, I call to Archangel Michael and his legions of blue-lightning angels to protect and transport my soul clothed in her finer bodies to the retreat of the ascended master Serapis Bey at the Ascension Temple in Luxor this night. | 3 | THE ASCENSION
The ascension is our ultimate destiny — the spiritual acceleration of consciousness that marks the soul's permanent reunion with the I AM Presence.
Originally, the complete balancing of all personal karma was required before a soul could return to the heart of God. Now, by the mercy of God dispensed by the Lords of Karma, those who have balanced 51 percent of their karma can be given the blessing of the ascension.
The remaining karma is balanced from the ascended state through service to earth and her evolutions. When the Great Law has been fully satisfied, the soul proceeds on the high road of cosmic adventure in the eternally perfect reunion of man with God.
Three primary requirements prepare the soul for this moment: balancing the threefold flame — the plumes of divine love, divine wisdom and divine will brought into equal development in the secret chamber of the heart; fulfilling her divine mission on earth; and balancing that 51 percent of karma.
The ascension is available to every soul. The Ascended Master Lanello reminds us: you ascend daily. Every act of love, every decree given with a centred heart, every moment of genuine service weaves a strand of light back to the heart of your Presence.
We are on a journey home.
Karma is our teacher.
Reincarnation gives us opportunity.
The ascension is our goal.

| 4 |  REINCARNATION
The soul does not begin at birth. She travels through many embodiments, gathering light, balancing karma and moving steadily toward her reunion with the I AM Presence.
Reincarnation is the law of cosmic mercy that gives her the time she needs to make that journey.
Between each lifetime, the soul appears before the Karmic Board — a group of eight ascended masters and lady masters, also called the Lords of Karma.
In consultation with these compassionate counsellors, she reviews the life just concluded and plans the one ahead: the parents, the circumstances, the returning karma she will encounter, the lessons her soul most needs to learn.
She often chooses demanding circumstances precisely because they offer the greatest opportunity for growth.
The veil over past-life memory is drawn by cosmic law as a mercy. The records of every previous incarnation remain in the depths of the soul and shape who we are — our gifts, our instincts, our deepest affinities. But detailed memory of former lives would overwhelm the present.
Each lifetime is given fresh, with the full capacity of free will intact.
The ascended masters teach that the thoughts, feelings, beliefs, choices and deeds of past lives have shaped the conditions of this one — and that the thoughts, feelings, beliefs, choices and deeds of this life are shaping what comes next.
Understanding this turns every difficulty into an opportunity and every act of love into an investment in the soul's eternal journey.
Reincarnation gives us time to love more fully, to forgive completely, and to fulfil the mission we came to earth to accomplish.

| 6 |  Our karma is created by our thoughts, feelings, words and actions.
Hinduism and Buddhism teach that karma is a universal law of cause and effect. In the West we have heard it put simply: what goes around comes around. The Bible says it plainly — whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
The ascended masters teach that karma is a precise, impartial law. It shows us where we have invested light wisely and where we have invested light unwisely.
Karmic cycles can be short — warmth returned in a smile. They can also stretch across years, decades or lifetimes. When they do, we lose sight of their origin. What appears as good luck is our good karma returning. What appears as injustice is old energy returning for redemption.
There are three ways to balance negative karma: by enduring it, by service to life, and the most powerful of all — transmuting it through the violet flame.

| 8 | Day 7 — the crown chakra, the golden yellow lotus of 972 petals known as the thousand-petaled lotus.
It carries the second ray of illumination, wisdom, self-knowledge, understanding, humility and cosmic consciousness.
The goal of self-mastery in time and space is the flowering of this lotus. It is the crown chakra where we are destined to know God through the mind of Christ.
The opening of this center in the full radiance of its golden-yellow light has been depicted as the halo of the saints and the vibrant corona around the Buddhas.
Every tradition of spiritual awakening points to this center. The enlightenment of the Buddha and the Christ — and ultimately the ascension — is the experience this chakra, fully opened, makes possible.
Lanto is the chohan of the second ray of wisdom and illumination.
We have moved through all seven chakras this week: base of the spine, seat of the soul, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye, crown. The path continues. The lotus keeps opening.

| 9 | Day 6 — the third-eye chakra, the emerald green center of vision located between the eyebrows.
It has 96 petals, on the fifth ray of truth, healing, science, abundance, music, constancy and focus.
Through the third eye we hold the immaculate picture for ourselves, for individuals and for our planet.
Through the all-seeing eye of God — the inner eye of the soul — we attune to what should be, rather than what may be occurring in the actuality of the present.
The difference between the third eye and ordinary two-eyed vision is that the third eye gives us the divine blueprint of life as well as the discernment to know good from evil.
Two eyes give a relative and often unclear perception that does not penetrate beyond the physical plane.
"If therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light."
What we allow ourselves to see and visualize in the third eye is what we become. Hilarion is the chohan of the fifth ray and works with seekers through his retreat, the Temple of Truth.

| 10 | Day 5 — the sixteen-petaled throat chakra, our power center. Its color is sapphire blue, on the first ray of God's will, power, faith, protection, courage and obedience.
Anything and everything that proceeds from the throat chakra coalesces in form, for good or for ill, by the action of the spoken word.
When we speak the name of God "I AM" and follow it with affirmations of light, we begin the transmutation process.
This is the key to the shortening of the days for the elect that Jesus Christ said would occur.
The shortening of the cycles of karma occurs through the correct use of the spoken word — its scientific use is the truth that shall make us free when we apply it diligently daily.
El Morya is the chohan of the first ray which is anchored in the throat chakra.

| 11 | Day 4 — the heart chakra, the most important chakra. Its color is pink and it has twelve petals, on the third ray of love.
The heart chakra is the center from which the energy of life, descending from the I AM Presence over the crystal cord and through the Christ Self, is distributed to all the other chakras and then to every cell and nerve center in the four lower bodies. It is the seat of illumined conscience.
When we keep the heart in the vibration of Christ's love and compassion for all life, we begin to recognize all life as one.
Within the twelve-petaled lotus is the secret chamber of the heart, where the threefold flame of power, wisdom and love burns as the divine spark anchored within us at birth.
As we meditate on the ascending triangle superimposed upon the heart chakra, it draws down the descending triangle of God's consciousness to meet it. The merging of Creator and creation through the intercession of the Christ Self is how the aura of man becomes the aura of God.

| 12 | Day 3 — the solar-plexus chakra, "place of the sun." Its colors are purple and gold and it has ten petals, on the sixth ray of ministration and service.
This is the spiritual center through which we realize the Christ consciousness of peace and the center of our feelings. When our solar plexus is calm, we have the power of peace.
The calling for this chakra is to raise that energy to the throat and release it as the spoken word.
Jesus demonstrated this: "Peace, be still!" — a wave of light going out over the whole planet, causing atoms and electrons to come into alignment with the flame of the Prince of Peace.
That same power is available to us as we master this center.
It is also the most permeable of the seven chakras: we may absorb the emotional atmosphere of those around us through it, registering the agitation or stillness of every room we enter and every person we meet.

| 13 |  Day 2 — the seat-of-the-soul chakra, the dwelling place of the soul.
Its color is violet and it has six petals, on the seventh ray of Saint Germain and the age of Aquarius.
The seat-of-the-soul chakra is where the soul's intuitive senses are experienced — the ability to read moods and vibrations that the five physical senses do not discern. This is a faculty of the soul, her direct perception of what is present in the energy around her.
When the violet flame is invoked, it liberates the soul by transmuting the accumulation of negative karma not only in this chakra but in all of the chakras.
The soul is called by God to mount the spiral staircase from this center to the secret chamber of the heart, where she meets her Holy Christ Self.
Saint Germain is the chohan of the seventh ray.

| 14 |  The seven chakras are the seven major energy centers along the spine, each corresponds to one of the seven rays of God's light.
The colors of the chakras shown here may differ from those in other systems because these are the colors in the purified etheric body. Some clairvoyants reading the astral condition of the chakras have described the subdued or muddied tones of centers carrying the residue of karma. Meditating on the pure colors of the rays invokes the light that will restore them.
We will look at one chakra each day this week.
Today: the base-of-the-spine chakra.
The base of the spine chakra is the seat of the Kundalini — the white fire of the Mother.
Its four petals set the pattern for the flowering of the Mother flame in each of the four lower bodies.
Through it we connect with the earth and nature and stay grounded and practical as we master the day-to-day, physical level of existence.
And it is from here that the soul begins its journey upward — rising through each chakra for the reunion of Mother with Father, which brings forth the Christ in the center of the heart.
Its color is white, on the fourth ray of purity and the ascension flame.

| 16 |  You Are a Soul on a Sacred Journey
The lowest figure in the Chart of Your Divine Self is the one perhaps closest to us — it is us: the soul, housed in a physical body, navigating the schoolroom of earth.
The soul is connected to the great light above through the crystal cord — a lifeline of divine energy flowing from the Father-Mother God, through the I AM Presence, through the Holy Christ Self, all the way down to the flame within our heart.
Within the secret chamber of the heart, a spiritual flame burns — the threefold flame of power, wisdom and love, the divine spark that connects us to our point of origin in the Great Central Sun.
The soul came into matter to develop mastery, to fulfill a unique divine blueprint, and to grow in the qualities of God.
Every challenge, every lesson, every act of love contributes to that purpose.
As El Morya says: "In the flame you know that you have always existed and that you always will. In the flame is the merging of your soul and your Spirit in eternity."
We are each, right now, in exactly the right place for our soul's journey.

| 17 | The Voice That Always Knows
Between the great light of your I AM Presence above and your soul in this physical world, there is a bridge — a level of consciousness the masters call the Holy Christ Self.
Because Spirit vibrates at a far higher frequency than matter, the pure light of the I AM Presence cannot simply pour into the physical body unmediated.
The Holy Christ Self steps that light down — functioning, as the masters teach, like a transformer that makes powerful energy usable without "blowing the circuits."
This is also the voice of conscience — the still, small voice that Mahatma Gandhi called the only authority he would obey without question.
Your Holy Christ Self always knows what is best for you. It knows what is required at every moment. And as you learn to attune to it, it draws from your I AM Presence the precise light, energy and illumination your soul needs.

Thursday 28 May – Wednesday 10 June
The ascended lady master Nada opens her sessions this cycle at the retreat of Jesus in the etheric octave over Arabia.
Nada is the chohan of the sixth ray — the purple and gold ray of peace, ministration and service. She also serves on the Karmic Board as representative of the third ray of divine love.
Through her teaching we receive the practical application of love and the path of personal Christhood through service to life.
Her instruction centres on the mastery of the solar-plexus chakra — the place where we radiate peace — and the God-mastery of the emotions. Jesus is the Prince of Peace and great master of this ray. Nada comes in his footsteps, teaching his path.
The Arabian Retreat itself is a wonder: a subterranean city sealed by the masters before a great cataclysm, its towering chambers now far beneath the desert sands.
Archangel Raphael, Mother Mary, Archangel Uriel and Aurora serve here with legions of angels of peace.

| 19 | The Light We Gathered Before We Arived on Earth
Before our souls entered the world of matter, our I AM Presence journeyed through the Great Central Sun — a vast field of light containing the infinite attributes of God's consciousness.
As it traveled, the Presence gathered around itself beautiful emanations of the divine — the virtues and qualities of Spirit that would become the soul's unique gifts in the world of matter.
This light formed the Causal Body: luminous, colored rings of light, rotating spheres within spheres, unique as a snowflake, surrounding each I AM Presence.
Saint Paul glimpsed this truth when he wrote: "One star differeth from another star in glory."
Our Causal Body is our treasury of light — the accumulated good of our soul's journey, held in safekeeping above us.
Every virtuous thought, every act of love, every inspired creation adds to it.
It is ours. And we can draw on it.

| 20 | Our Divine Origin — and the Love That Was There from the Beginning
In the beginning, Father-Mother God expanded the light by giving birth to individual Spirit-sparks — each one an exact replica of the energy of God's being, created in perfect polarity: masculine and feminine, alpha and omega.
Each Spirit-spark was also called the I AM Presence — the highest part of our being, an energy field of God consciousness that even now hovers above us, nourishing our bodies, minds and souls.
And here is something beautiful: we were not created alone.
Each I AM Presence was created whole — two halves of one light, twin flames united in Spirit as one. That lifelong longing for perfect love? It has its roots in a real experience — the original wholeness and bliss we knew with our twin flame before we entered the world of matter.
Our search has always been, at its heart, a search for home.
