Today, October 15, we celebrate the ascension of our beloved messenger Elizabeth Clare Prophet, now known as Guru Ma. She made her transition to realms of light on October 15, 2009, and we believe she has ascended. Her spiritual quest began in childhood. Born in Red Bank, New Jersey, in 1939, she carried memories of past lives and a determination to find confirmation of the truth Jesus spoke to her in her heart. By the age of nine she had attended every church and synagogue in her town in search of answers. At eighteen she opened a book on the ascended masters and came face to face with a picture of Saint Germain. She later described this as the turning point of her life. In 1961 she joined The Summit Lighthouse and was trained by the ascended master El Morya to be a messenger. Three years later she received Saint Germain’s anointing as a messenger of the Great White Brotherhood. From 1973 Elizabeth Clare Prophet led the organisation through decades of tremendous growth. She established Church Universal and Triumphant and Summit University Press. She lectured in more than 30 countries and 150 cities, published more than 50 books, held four conferences each year, taught Summit University classes and founded Montessori International. Her first priority remained the weekly Pearls of Wisdom, letters from the ascended masters to their students around the world. Her books include Saint Germain On Alchemy, The Human Aura, The Lost Years of Jesus, Fallen Angels and the Origins of Evil, the Climb the Highest Mountain® series and the Pocket Guides to Practical Spirituality series. Of her mission, she said: “My books and writings are intended to give people the opportunity to know the Truth that can make them free—so they can find God without me.” The Summit Lighthouse carries on this core message: developing an intimate relationship with God through practical spirituality and the wisdom of the ascended masters and the world’s major religions, East and West. We can honour her today with our gratitude for her service, and by watching A Life Lived in Love, the movie of her life and mission, or reading her autobiography, In My Own Words. Hilarion’s University of the Spirit: Thursday 15 – Wednesday 28 October Hilarion welcomes us to his retreat, the Temple of Truth, in the etheric realm over the island of Crete. Hilarion is the hierarch of the retreat, and Pallas Athena, the Goddess of Truth, is the Patroness. How the Universities of the Spirit began The etheric retreats of the ascended masters are the temples of the Great White Brotherhood. They were once physical, on the lost continents of Lemuria and Atlantis. Later they were withdrawn to the etheric plane, where only the most advanced initiates could reach them. With the dawning of the Aquarian age, lightbearers were given the opportunity again to enter these retreats. This time they enter by soul travel, apart from the physical body. In the twentieth century, a number of the retreats were opened to unascended students of the ascended masters. On January 1, 1986, Gautama Buddha announced that the Lords of Karma had approved the seven chohans of the rays to open Universities of the Spirit in each of their etheric retreats. There they would welcome “thousands and tens of thousands of students who will diligently pursue the path of self-mastery on the seven rays systematically.” The chohans of the rays are the closest of the ascended masters to humanity. Each one has attained self-mastery and won the ascension by serving humanity on one or more of the seven rays. Each chohan opens their retreat for a two-week training period, and then the next chohan opens theirs, on a rolling schedule. Gautama Buddha described the students’ path through the retreats. It begins in Darjeeling with El Morya and at the Royal Teton Retreat with Saint Germain. It continues with Lord Lanto and Confucius, Paul the Venetian, and Nada in Arabia, and then the Ascension Temple. Then comes Crete: “Then they proceed to Crete with Paul the apostle, and there Hilarion shows them the Truth of all ages, and the science of Being is unfolded layer upon layer.” The call to attend We can travel to the Temple of Truth at night while our body sleeps. We can give this call before sleep so that we arrive there safely, away from the entanglements of the astral plane: In the name of the Christ, my own Real Self, I call to the heart of the I AM Presence and to the angel of the Presence to take me in my soul and in my soul consciousness to the retreat of Hilarion over the island of Crete. I ask to be taught the way of truth, the revelations of truth, and the true revelations of Jesus Christ to the age under the ascended master Hilarion. And I ask that all information necessary to the fulfillment of my divine plan be released to my outer waking consciousness as it is required. I thank thee and I accept this done in the full power of the risen Christ. This podcast gives us a guided tour of the retreat https://youtu.be/nVB5-MR_nAQ?si=ZYkGmcFBVj3jaxMA #Hilarion #UniversityOfTheSpirit Copyright © 2026 Summit Lighthouse, Inc. All rights reserved.

Today, 12 October, is Columbus Day — a fitting day to look back on Saint Germain’s embodiment as Christopher Columbus (1451–1506), discoverer of America. Over two centuries before Columbus set sail, Roger Bacon — an earlier embodiment of the very same soul — had already set the stage for the voyage. In his Opus Majus, Bacon wrote that “the sea between the end of Spain on the west and the beginning of India on the east is navigable in a very few days if the wind is favorable.” Though the geography behind the statement was mistaken — the land west of Spain was not, in fact, India — it proved instrumental all the same. Columbus quoted the passage directly in a 1498 letter to King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella, crediting it as part of what inspired his 1492 voyage. Columbus was convinced that God had appointed him for this mission — that he was, in his own words, “the messenger of the new heaven and the new earth of which He spake in the Apocalypse of Saint John, after having spoken of it by the mouth of Isaiah.” Writing to King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella in 1502, he went further still: “In the carrying out of this enterprise of the Indies, neither reason nor mathematics nor maps were any use to me: fully accomplished were the words of Isaiah.” He was drawing on the prophecy in Isaiah 11:10–12, that the Lord would “recover the remnant of his people... and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.” So certain was Columbus of his divine selection that he studied the biblical prophets in depth, compiling the relevant passages in a book of his own making titled Las Proficias — The Prophecies — in full, The Book of Prophecies concerning the Discovery of the Indies and the Recovery of Jerusalem. It’s a detail seldom emphasized in the history books, though even the Encyclopaedia Britannica states it plainly: “Columbus discovered America by prophecy rather than by astronomy.” Taken together with Roger Bacon’s earlier writing, Columbus’s voyage looks like the completion of something set in motion across two lifetimes of the same soul — a scientific insight planted centuries earlier and carried forward by an unshakeable sense of divine purpose. An idea doesn’t need to bear fruit within a single lifetime to be worth planting. Copyright © 2026 Summit Lighthouse, Inc. All rights reserved.

Saint Germain walked the earth as Roger Bacon (1220–1292) — philosopher, Franciscan monk, educational reformer and experimental scientist. In an era in which either theology or logic, or both, dictated the boundaries of what science was allowed to explore, Bacon promoted the experimental method as the true path to knowledge. He declared his belief that the world was round and openly criticized the scholars and scientists of his day for their narrow-mindedness. “True knowledge stems not from the authority of others, nor from a blind allegiance to antiquated dogmas,” he said — a statement that still holds its edge centuries later. Bacon eventually left his post as a lecturer at the University of Paris and entered the Franciscan Order of Friars Minor. In his own time, Bacon became renowned for his exhaustive investigations into alchemy, optics, mathematics and languages. Today he is regarded as a forerunner of modern science and, remarkably, a prophet of modern technology. He predicted the hot-air balloon, a flying machine, spectacles, the telescope, the microscope, the elevator, and mechanically propelled ships and carriages — and wrote of each as though he had genuinely seen them at work, centuries before they existed. His scientific and philosophical outlook, his willingness to challenge the theologians of his day, and his deep study of alchemy and astrology brought him under suspicion. He was charged with “heresies and novelties” and imprisoned for fourteen years by his own fellow Franciscans. Yet to those who studied his work in the centuries that followed, Bacon became known as “doctor mirabilis” — “wonderful teacher” — a title that has followed him down the ages. Merlin In the fifth century, Saint Germain was embodied as Merlin — alchemist, prophet and counsellor at the court of King Arthur. Merlin first appears in the history of Britain before Arthur’s birth, serving as a mediator among the barons and warlords of his day. Like the stories of Arthur, Launcelot and Guinevere, his story is recorded in the folklore of nearly every European nation. In some traditions he is described as a godly sage who studied the stars, his prophecies recorded by seventy secretaries. Medieval legend describes Merlin as the son of a demon father and a human mother. Looking more closely at the tradition, what this actually describes is a mother who married a Druid priest — one who carried all the powers and wisdom of the ancient mysteries and the tradition of the Holy Grail, going back over two thousand years. Merlin himself had been embodied as a priest of the sacred fire under Lord Zadkiel on Atlantis, and his wisdom reached back through Lemuria and Atlantis, Babylon and Egypt, Greece and Rome. As a child, Merlin was brought before King Vortigern of Britain, whose tower kept collapsing because of a hidden pool beneath its foundations. Merlin revealed that two dragons — one red, one white — lay in that pool, and when they were uncovered, they rose up and fought. Merlin explained that their battle was a sign: the Britons, represented by the red dragon, would be hard-pressed by the Saxons until the coming of “the Boar of Cornwall” — Arthur himself, who would overcome them. Merlin went on to serve as Arthur’s trusted counsellor throughout his reign. He was present at Arthur’s birth and arranged for his upbringing, and after King Uther’s death, he called the barons of the realm together. By the power of the Christ consciousness, Merlin caused the sword and the stone to appear in the churchyard, bearing the words: “Whosoever pulleth out this sword... is rightwise king born of all England.” Through this trial, Arthur proved his right to rule. Merlin later saved Arthur’s life in a joust, led him to receive the sword Excalibur from the Lady of the Lake, arranged his marriage to Guinevere, brought the Round Table to Camelot, and revealed the mystery of the Holy Grail to the king and his court. Merlin, like the prophet Samuel in an earlier life, was the one who recognised and anointed true kingship. Saint Germain would take up this same role centuries later as the sponsor of America, anointing the nation’s first president, George Washington. Accounts of Merlin’s passing differ. Some say he withdrew into a house of glass on the island of Bardsey, carrying with him the Thirteen Treasures of Britain. Others tell of the enchantress Vivien, who used magic she learned from Merlin to imprison him. In another account, Arthur, Launcelot and Gawain came upon a chapel at Tintagel said to hold Merlin’s sepulchre — though his body was never found within it, “taken out and snatched away, either on God’s behalf or the Enemy’s, but which we know not.” Copyright © 2026 Summit Lighthouse, Inc. Today, 9 October, is the birthday of Aimee Semple McPherson (1890–1944), the evangelist who founded the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. She is known today as the Ascended Lady Master Magda. Magda is the twin flame of Jesus. She was embodied as Mary Magdalene, his female disciple. In July 1917, a nationwide camp meeting in Philadelphia was disrupted by a group of young men. They stood around the edges of the tent and mocked anyone who spoke, sang or prayed. Aimee describes what happened: “As I praised the Lord, I seemed to see a lot of demons with outspread, batlike wings, each of which was interlocked with that of his neighbor, surrounding the tabernacle. But every time I cried ‘Praise the Lord!’ I noted that the demonic forces took a step backward until finally back, back, back, they disappeared amid the trees. But now that I had once begun it was difficult to stop, so I continued shouting, ‘Glory to Jesus! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!’ Suddenly I noticed that from the place where the powers of darkness had been lost to view a great square of white-robed angels were advancing with outspread wings, each of which likewise was interlocked with that of his neighbor. Bless the Lord! With each ‘Praise the Lord,’ the angels took a step forward. On, on, on they came until they entirely surrounded the outer edges of my canvas cathedral. Startled, I opened my eyes and looked about me. The young men who had been our tormentors were still there, but now they stood as quiet as mice....” Her account shows the power of praise given aloud. With each “Praise the Lord!” the forces of darkness stepped back. With each “Praise the Lord!” the angels stepped forward, until they surrounded the whole tent and the young men who had been mocking the meeting stood quiet. On 22 November 1990, Jesus announced that she had balanced 100 percent of her karma. On her birthday, we can follow Magda’s example. We can give praise to God aloud, with our whole heart, and keep going once we have begun. #AscendedMasters #Magda Copyright © 2026 Summit Lighthouse, Inc. All rights reserved.

Saint Alban In the late third century, Saint Germain walked the earth as Saint Alban, the first martyr of Britain. Alban lived in England during the persecution of Christians under the Roman emperor Diocletian. Originally a pagan who had served in the Roman army, he had settled in the town of Verulamium — later renamed St Albans in his honor. When Alban sheltered a fugitive Christian priest named Amphibalus, the priest's faith and example converted him. When soldiers arrived to search for the priest, Alban made a choice that would define his life: he allowed Amphibalus to escape and disguised himself in the cleric's own garb, taking his place to buy the priest time. Once his deed was discovered, Alban was scourged and sentenced to death. According to legend, so vast a crowd gathered to witness the execution that they could not pass over the narrow bridge that had to be crossed to reach the site. Alban prayed, and the river is said to have parted to give the crowd passage — a sight so moving that his own appointed executioner was converted on the spot and begged to die in Alban's place. The request was denied, and the two were beheaded together. Alban has been revered by the people of the British Isles since his death in A.D. 303. As the Reverend Alban Butler wrote in his Lives of the Fathers, Martyrs and other Principal Saints: "Our island for many ages had recourse to St. Alban as its glorious protomartyr and powerful patron with God, and acknowledged many great favours received from God, through his intercession." Saint Joseph Saint Germain was embodied as Saint Joseph, the father of Jesus and husband of Mother Mary. Scripture gives us only a handful of details: his lineage traced back to David; when an angel warned him in a dream that Herod planned to kill the infant Jesus, Joseph heeded the warning at once and took his family to Egypt, returning only after Herod's death; he worked as a carpenter and is thought to have passed before Jesus began his public ministry. In Catholic tradition, Saint Joseph is revered as Patron of the Universal Church, his feast celebrated on March 19. Other accounts fill in more of the picture. According to the apocryphal Gospel of the Birth of Mary, when Mary came of marriageable age, the high priest summoned every unmarried man of the house of David to bring his staff to the altar — for it had been revealed that the man whose staff blossomed and received the Spirit of the Lord in the form of a dove would be the one to whom Mary was given. Joseph, being advanced in years, initially held his staff back. When his staff was finally brought forward, a dove alighted on it, and by some accounts it blossomed with flowers and leaves. The sixteenth-century mystic Teresa of Avila held deep devotion to Saint Joseph, choosing him as patron of her order. She wrote: "I don't recall up to this day ever having petitioned him for anything that he has failed to grant... just as he was subject to Saint Joseph on earth... so in heaven God does whatever he commands." We have glimpses of the Holy Family from the Ascended Masters themselves. Jesus once said that Joseph taught him far more than carpentry: "He taught me the sacred labor of the alchemy of the Holy Ghost, the changing of the water into wine. Truly I am the son of Joseph, the great miracle alchemist of all time." Mother Mary, in a separate account, recalled a morning when the young Jesus brought her a hard piece of wood he was struggling to carve, hoping she would ask Joseph for something softer. She explained instead that the harder wood, worked with patience, would endure — and Jesus returned, with a trace of a tear, to continue shaping it. Mother Mary has also said that Joseph "did father and nourish the Christ Child and therefore set the pace of the age of Pisces," calling him a role model for anyone who would defend and protect those in their care. Saint Germain himself has confirmed this identity plainly: "Yes, I AM Saint Joseph, and I walk in the full mantle of my office as protector of Mary and of every mother and every woman and of every child in the earth... Knowing who I am, therefore, I can be called by any name, any key of any name of any past incarnation. Thus, I have rolled them into one and determined to be called by you merely 'Holy Brother,' Saint Germain." Copyright © 2026 Summit Lighthouse, Inc. All rights reserved.

Serapis Bey's University of the Spirit Ascension Temple, Luxor Thursday 1st October to Wednesday 14th October Serapis Bey welcomes us to attend his University of the Spirit at the Ascension Temple in Luxor, Egypt. At this retreat we are instructed in the requirements for the ascension and how to fulfil them. The training is precise and transformative. One of the key disciplines is overcoming karmic patterns with other people. We are placed in situations that challenge our human reactions. In this retreat, we cannot walk away from difficulty. We must stand, face and conquer misqualified energy—refusing to react, yet also refusing to be dominated by the human creation of others. Prayer to Attend Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit. Mighty I AM Presence and Holy Christ Self, I call to Archangel Michael and his legions of blue-lightning angels to protect and transport my soul clothed in her finer bodies to the retreat of the ascended master Serapis Bey at the Ascension Temple in Luxor this night. Beloved Serapis, I am willing to learn my next steps on the path to the ascension. I ask this be done in accordance with the holy will of God. Copyright © 2026 Summit Lighthouse, Inc. This affirmation helps with the ascent of the Light through the chakras, which are located along the spine. It points to the elevation of that Light to the crown chakra, where enlightenment is anchored. While we recite this mantra, we can hold the visualization of a golden stream rising through each chakra and expanding outward to bless everyone we meet. We can choose to say this aloud and strongly, allowing the vibration to flow through the body and establishing Victory in action. Copyright © 2026 Summit Lighthouse, Inc. All rights reserved.
