Today is Michaelmas, the feast of Archangel Michael.
Archangel Michael is the Prince of the Archangels, the Defender of the Faith and the Angel of Deliverance.
He serves on the first ray of protection, faith and the will of God, and he commands legions of blue-lightning angels.
His divine complement is Archeia Faith, and together they hold their etheric retreat, the Temple of Faith, over Banff and Lake Louise in the Canadian Rockies.
Archangel Michael challenges us:
“Remember, I AM the mountain mover! I move mountains with you. Call to me and see what mountain we together shall remove each day.” (Pearls of Wisdom, vol. 36, no. 12)
Archangel Michael and his legions have dedicated themselves for thousands of years to the safety of our souls and to our protection. They help us understand that each of us has a divine plan, and they help us protect that plan so that we can fulfil it.
Each day they descend into the astral plane in their blue armour, carrying shields and swords of blue flame, to cut free souls who are ready to rise. Archangel Michael is determined to continue this work until the last child of light on this planet has ascended.
The Goddess of Liberty teaches that Archangel Michael answers our call, and answers it best when we keep a daily momentum of prayers to him. With that momentum in place, our call for help is answered instantly. Archangel Michael has also made a commitment to each of us: if we give our decrees and songs to him for twenty minutes each day, he will keep an angel with us until the hour of our victory.
We can say the decree aloud with the video, give it as we set out each morning, and make it part of our twenty minutes with Archangel Michael each day.
Let us mark Michaelmas by making our call and building our momentum with Archangel Michael, day by day.

| 2 |  The Prophet Samuel
In the eleventh century B.C., Saint Germain walked the earth as the prophet Samuel.
He was Israel's last judge and first prophet, at a time when the people had drifted far from God and their own spiritual laws.
In those days, a judge wasn't just someone who settled disputes. Judges were seen as having a direct line to God, and could rally the tribes of Israel to stand against those who oppressed them.
Samuel helped free his people twice over — from corrupt priests, the sons of Eli, and from the Philistines, who had defeated Israel in battle.
When the Philistines threatened again, Samuel called the people to turn back to God and give up their false gods. They listened, and asked Samuel to keep praying for them.
As he prayed, a violent storm broke out, and the Israelites defeated their enemies. The Philistines never troubled Israel again during Samuel's lifetime.
Samuel spent the rest of his life administering justice across the land. When he grew old, he made his own sons judges — but they turned out corrupt, and the people asked for a king instead, "like all the nations" around them.
This grieved Samuel deeply. In prayer, he was told: "They have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me." Even so, he was told to give the people what they asked for.
Samuel warned them what a king would cost them, but they wanted one anyway.
He anointed Saul as Israel's first king. When Saul later proved unfaithful, Samuel anointed David in secret to take his place.
When Samuel died, all of Israel mourned him, and he was buried at Ramah.
Samuel never softened the truth to make things easier for himself, even when it grieved him, and even when the people were set on a path he had warned against. He served faithfully right to the end, handing over leadership to a successor he had chosen himself.

| 3 |  High Priest on Atlantis
Thirteen thousand years ago, as high priest of the Violet Flame Temple on the mainland of Atlantis, Saint Germain sustained — by his invocations and the power of his causal body — a pillar of fire: a veritable fountain of violet singing flame.
That flame magnetized people from near and far who came to be set free from every binding condition of body, mind and soul. They achieved this freedom through self-effort, offering invocations and practicing seventh-ray rituals to the sacred fire.
Those who officiated at the altar of the Violet Flame Temple were schooled in the universal priesthood of the Order of Melchizedek, at the retreat of Lord Zadkiel known as the Temple of Purification, which once stood where the island of Cuba is today.
This priesthood combined the perfect religion with the perfect science.
It was here that both Saint Germain and Jesus received the same anointing, spoken by Zadkiel himself: "Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek."
As the sinking of Atlantis drew near — while Noah was still building his ark and warning of the flood to come — the Great Divine Director called Saint Germain and a handful of faithful priests to a critical task: transporting the flame of freedom from the Temple of Purification to a place of safety in the Carpathian foothills of Transylvania.
There, they continued the sacred ritual of expanding the fires of freedom, even as the rest of mankind's karma was being exacted by divine decree.
In the embodiments that followed, Saint Germain and his followers, guided by the Great Divine Director, rediscovered that flame and continued to guard the shrine.
Later, the Great Divine Director, assisted by his disciple, established a retreat at the site and founded the House of Rakoczy, the royal house of Hungary — a lineage that would echo down through Saint Germain's own later embodiments.
The violet flame Saint Germain guarded on Atlantis is the same flame available to each of us today, whenever we choose to invoke it for our own freedom.

| 4 |  Ruler of a Golden-Age Civilization (Sahara)
Long before recorded history, in a fertile country where the Sahara Desert now stretches, Saint Germain reigned as king-emperor of a golden-age civilization.
As a master of the ancient wisdom and of the knowledge of the Matter spheres, he was the standard by which his people measured their own emerging Godhood. His empire reached a height of beauty, symmetry and perfection unexceeded in the physical octave — a civilization built not on conquest but on the outpicturing of divine order.
Over time, though, the people's attention shifted. They became more interested in the pleasures of the senses than in the larger creative plan of the Great God Self.
A cosmic council took notice and instructed the ruler to withdraw from his empire; from that point forward, the people's own karma would become their guru — their most direct and honest teacher.
Before his departure, the king held a great banquet for his councillors and public servants.
Each of his 576 guests received a crystal goblet filled with an elixir described as "pure electronic essence." This was Saint Germain's gift of soul-protection — so that when their opportunity came again, in the age of Aquarius, to help bring back that golden-age civilization, they would remember their I AM Presence.
It was meant as a sign to all people that God can and does dwell among a people who make their minds, hearts and souls a fitting home for the divine Spirit.
During the banquet, a cosmic master identifying himself only by the word Victory, inscribed upon his brow, addressed the assembly.
He warned the people of the crisis they had brought upon themselves through their faithlessness, and prophesied that the empire would soon come under the rule of a visiting prince who sought to marry the king's daughter.
Seven days later, the king and his family withdrew to the golden-etheric city that stood as the civilization's counterpart in finer form. The prince arrived the following day and took over the throne without resistance.

| 6 |  Ascension Day of Lady Kristine
Today we honor the ascension of the beloved Lady Kristine, one of the ascended masters who walked the path of the ruby ray to victory.
In her final incarnation she was embodied as Florence Jeannette Miller, born in Krugersdorp, South Africa in 1936. Her path led her through South Africa, the Belgian Congo, Brussels, London and Canada before she found the teachings of the ascended masters in Albuquerque in 1968. From the moment she saw photographs of Mark and Elizabeth Prophet, she recognized them as true messengers of God, and she joined the staff of The Summit Lighthouse that same year, later serving as head of the publishing department.
Saint Germain gave her the title Lady Kristine on July 5, 1970. On September 20, 1979, her soul fulfilled the initiation of the ascension, and she became known and loved as the ascended lady master Kristine. Sanat Kumara called her "the example and forerunner on the path of the ruby ray," describing her path as one of surrender, self-sacrifice, service and selflessness.
In a previous incarnation, Lady Kristine was embodied as the sixteenth-century mystic Saint Teresa of Avila. In 1998, Raphael and Mother Mary announced that she had become a bodhisattva.
She once described her own ascension as being "plucked to the Saviour's heart" — carried to a field where lilies grow among the saints we have known and loved. Today we remember her devotion, her poise and her joy, and we carry a little of her flame forward in our own service.

| 7 |  Who Is Saint Germain?
Each two-thousand-year cycle in cosmic history comes under the direction of one of the seven rays.
For the last two thousand years, that direction belonged to Jesus, chohan of the sixth ray. On May 1, 1954, a new dispensation began: Saint Germain and his twin flame, the ascended lady master Portia, Goddess of Justice, were crowned directors of the coming cycle — the Aquarian age ofEach two-thousand-year cycle in cosmic history comes under the direction of one of the seven rays. Freedom and justice are the yin and yang of this new age. Together with mercy, they form the foundation on which every other quality of God can be outpictured in what the teachings call the seventh dispensation.
Saint Germain is known first as a diplomat — expressing dignity, grace, gentility, poise and true statesmanship through all who invoke the seventh ray.
He is a member of the House of Rakoczy, founded by the Great Divine Director, in whose Transylvanian mansion the violet flame of freedom is presently enshrined.
Saint Germain comes from the Latin Sanctus Germanus, which simply means "Holy Brother."
As chohan of the seventh ray, Saint Germain initiates our souls in the science and ritual of transmutation through the violet flame.
Over the coming weeks, we'll be tracing some of the embodiments through which he earned that office — because, as he himself has said, he was not always ascended:
"Not once or twice but for many incarnations I walked the earth as you now do, confined to mortal frame and the limitations of dimensional existence. I was on Lemuria and I was on Atlantis. I have seen civilizations rise and fall... Yes, I have seen the choices, and I have chosen. By right choices man and woman establish their position in hierarchy. By choosing to be free in the magnificent will of God, I won my freedom."
He goes on: "You are mortal. I am immortal. The only difference between us is that I have chosen to be free, and you have yet to make the choice. We have the same potential, the same resources, the same connection to the One."
That's the thread running through everything that follows — a golden-age king, a high priest of Atlantis, the prophet Samuel, Saint Joseph, Saint Alban, Merlin, Roger Bacon, Christopher Columbus, Francis Bacon, and finally the mysterious Count of eighteenth-century Europe. Different centuries, different names, the same soul walking the same path of freedom — the path he now holds open to us.

| 9 |  Purifying the Four Lower Bodies with the Violet Flame
The violet flame is a special cosmic light introduced to us by the Ascended Master Saint Germain. It helps clear the mind, free the emotions and heal the body. By invoking the violet flame in decrees, our soul can more quickly reunite with her Holy Christ Self and fulfill her reason for being.
The specific frequency of the violet ray conveys the action of mercy, justice, freedom and transmutation.
Transmutation is the process of changing something into a higher form. So the vibration of the violet flame has the capacity to transmute the impure elements of the four lower bodies into a vibration more closely resembling that of the Higher Self.
With regular use, the violet flame can bring about transformation at all levels of being. It can enhance stamina and help to overcome physical problems and emotional hang-ups. It can lift the spirit and free the soul to pursue her divine plan.
The masters call the violet flame a universal solvent because of its wondrous ability to dissolve problems at subtle energy levels.
The Ascended Master Saint Germain said, "The violet flame is the supreme antidote for physical problems."
He explained, "The violet flame can combine with any molecule or molecular structure, any particle of matter known or unknown, and any wave of light, electrons or electricity. Wherever people gather to give the violet flame, there you notice immediately an improvement in physical conditions!"
When we invoke the violet flame through decrees, it surrounds each one of our atoms. A polarity is set up between the nucleus of the atom and the violet flame. The nucleus, being matter, assumes the negative polarity; the core of the violet flame, being Spirit, assumes the positive polarity.
This interaction establishes a rapid oscillation that releases the density trapped between the electrons orbiting the nucleus. The freed substance is thrown into the violet flame, where it is transmuted and restored to its native purity, then returned to the Causal Body as our spiritual treasure.
The Ascended Master El Morya said, "Every day in every way the violet flame flushes out and renews your body cells, the cells of your mind, and the globule of your soul, polishing the jewel of consciousness until it glistens in the sunlight."
We can give this decree to invoke the violet flame:

| 10 |  The Mind-Body-Spirit Connection
Life is full of clear examples of how one body affects another. Being emotionally upset can cause an upset stomach. Continued stress and agitation may affect our nervous system. Entertaining gloomy thoughts can lead to fear and anxiety, making it harder to think clearly.
On the positive side, when we think positive thoughts, we're more inclined to be peaceful and joyful. Being peaceful and harmonious boosts the immune system. Giving recognition to the divine origin of the soul, as recorded in the etheric body, makes us receptive to creative ideas and provides inspiration to fulfill our desired goals.
Studies in the field of mind-body medicine confirm the interrelationship of the mind, body and emotions. Numerous clinical studies have shown the positive effects of love and support in preventing cardiovascular disease. Mind-body researchers have shown that when people feel loved, these feelings are translated into biochemical messengers that circulate to the cells and tissues of the body, producing a beneficial result.
The ascended masters have explained that most physical diseases originate from disturbances in the etheric, mental and emotional bodies. In a dictation given on October 14, 1973, the Ascended Lady Master Meta said that the etheric body is the body of cause, while the physical body is the body of effect. All that ultimately occurs within the physical body begins as a cause in the memory of man, is then etched upon the mental body and the feeling body, and manifests finally in the physical form.
"Know ye not that ye are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?" — I Corinthians 3:16
We can call to our I AM Presence to help purify and heal our four lower bodies, understanding their interrelatedness as one integrated whole.

| 11 |  The Physical Body
The physical body is the vehicle of power and action. It is literally the hands and feet of the other three bodies. Its role in manifesting our spiritual nature cannot be underestimated.
The physical body is the place where we "walk our talk," as they say, and make our intentions concrete. It can be used to express love for others through speaking kind words or through lending a helping hand.
Using the physical body allows the seeker to bring down to earth the beauty perceived in higher realms. It is used to anchor the light of Spirit in matter. Artists use their hands and opera singers use their vocal cords to create works of art that uplift and inspire the hearts and souls of all who see and hear them.
It is easy to see how the physical body correlates with the earth element, as this body is sustained with the fruits of the earth. The physical body is the densest in vibration of the four lower bodies, and the earth is the densest of the four elements. Yet knowing that both the physical body and the earth were created from the energy of Spirit inspires us to treat them with love and respect. The more we imbue our physical bodies and Mother Earth with the energies of Spirit, the more they can help us to carry out our sacred work.

| 12 |  The Emotional Body
The emotional body is the body of e-nergy in motion, or e-motion. It is also called the desire body or the astral body — the place where we experience feelings such as love, fear, frustration, hope and aspiration.
Strong desires or emotions may be experienced as waves of energy that propel us to move into action. We speak of being "moved" when we hear a touching story that expresses deep emotion.
The emotional body enables the soul to perceive the beauty of Spirit in both the visible and invisible worlds. When we experience spiritual feelings such as love, compassion, gratitude and joy, we can share these positive emotions to bring comfort and assistance to others.
Looking for the beauty and the divinity within each other makes every person a powerful force for positive change in the world.
The effects of negative emotions can be readily seen in the lives of individuals and on the world scene — from minor arguments to more destructive behavior.
Wars and violence can erupt out of intense feelings of anger, prejudice, hatred and revenge.
The energy in motion of the emotional body can be the most turbulent and difficult energy to control of all the four lower bodies.
Yet mastering that energy brings peace and harmony to the soul and allows her to become a reflecting pool of the beauty and inspiration of her divine reality.
We can call to our I AM Presence to help us master the energies of our emotional body, so it becomes a clear vessel for love, compassion and joy.

| 13 |  The Mental Body
The mental body vibrates at a frequency just below that of the etheric body. Its most obvious function is to think — it analyzes and organizes information to solve problems and draw conclusions, and it allows us to reason, concentrate and communicate clearly with others.
Learning to control and discipline our thought processes is essential on the spiritual path.
Thought operates at unseen energetic levels and is a dynamic, creative force. How and what we think can greatly influence the outcome of events in our life.
The challenge of using the mental body is to sharpen our thinking and logic skills while relying on the guidance of the higher mind for accurate perceptions of reality.
This is the way of wisdom. As the book of Proverbs says, "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom, and with all thy getting get understanding."
Wisdom is imparted to the soul through the light of the Christ. This search for wisdom requires reaching beyond the boundaries of the finite mind, accessing the universal mind of God through the Holy Christ Self, or Christ consciousness.
The mental body is designed to help access that consciousness, bringing illumination and divine insight.
The Ascended Master Serapis Bey explained: "We desire man to know that the mind of man is one with the divine mind of God, in like manner that a drop of water is one with the ocean... The brains of men are not their minds, they are but foci through which mental processes operate in the physical realm."
As Philippians 2:5 counsels, "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus."
We can call to our Holy Christ Self to strengthen and purify our mental body, so it becomes a clear channel for divine insight.

| 14 |  The Etheric Body — the Memory Body
The etheric body is the highest vibrating of our four lower bodies, and it is also called the memory body. It contains all of our memories — from a brief moment in childhood to a deep understanding of who we are in Spirit.
Memory defines identity. In a dictation given in 1967, the Ascended Master Serapis Bey said, "Without memory, identity would fall. Without memory, purpose would not be perceived, nor would there be any integration of purpose. The gift of memory is intended to be a purified faculty designed by God to enable men to rise in awareness, step by step, until self-mastery is gained."
The etheric body holds not only the memory of this lifetime, but the memory of everything that has transpired since our soul was first created. All of the thoughts, feelings, words and actions we have ever expressed through the mental, emotional and physical bodies are recorded here, even when we are not consciously aware of them.
Because the etheric body vibrates highest of the four, it is the entryway to our higher bodies. It can receive the illumination of the Holy Christ Self most easily, then transmit that light to the other three lower bodies.
When the etheric body is cleared of negative memories, we become free to see the single most important memory God impressed upon it in the beginning — the memory of our soul's divine blueprint. This blueprint is twofold: it contains the blueprint of our origin, our creation after the image and likeness of God, and the blueprint of our divine plan, which we received in the beginning and came forth to fulfill in the realms of matter.
We can call to our I AM Presence to help us see this inner blueprint more clearly and move forward to fulfill our divine potential.

🍽️ Avoiding heavy foods in the hours before sleep allows the functions of the body to rest, so the soul may more easily ascend to higher octaves.
🎬 Steering clear of violent or negative movies and television in the hours before sleep keeps the soul from being magnetized to lower levels of consciousness.
🙏 Reading the words of an ascended master before sleep creates a period of spiritual attunement, helping align our consciousness with our intended destination.
Where we are in consciousness before we sleep will often determine where we go.

| 16 |  The Four Lower Bodies — Our Vehicles in Matter
The soul travels through the material world clothed in four lower bodies — the physical, emotional, mental and etheric.
Each body has its own consciousness, yet together they act as one, influencing each other constantly. The ascended masters describe them as sheaths of interpenetrating fields of energy surrounding the soul, each vibrating at a different rate.
The etheric body vibrates highest, followed by the mental, then the emotional, with the physical body vibrating the densest of the four.
Each body also corresponds to one of the four elements. The etheric body relates to fire, since it permits us to realize God as sacred fire. The mental body relates to air, given the rapid, changeable nature of thought. The emotional body relates to water, flowing constantly like our feelings. The physical body relates to earth, since it anchors the light of Spirit in matter.
The soul receives the radiance of the I AM Presence through the Holy Christ Self for the purpose of experiencing matter, attaining self-mastery and fulfilling her divine plan. She represents the feminine polarity of being, while the Higher Self holds the masculine polarity — the light of the Spirit from which the creative energy comes.
We can call to our I AM Presence and Holy Christ Self to help us understand how each of these four bodies is functioning in our life today.
Over the coming days, we'll explore each of the four lower bodies individually — what they do, how they serve the soul, and how we can strengthen them.

| 17 |  The Causal Body: Our Cosmic Bank Account in Heaven
Although the causal body is depicted as colored rings, it's actually interpenetrating spheres of light surrounding each one's I AM Presence.
The causal body's spheres contain the records of our virtuous acts from our many incarnations. It is our cosmic bank account in heaven.
Each color of the causal body relates to one of the seven rays of God's consciousness.
In the center is the white light, the Mother Light from which all rays manifest. Those who strive for excellence, purity, self-discipline, integration, perfection, and wholeness, and who carry the attributes of joy and hope, will have a larger white sphere in their causal bodies.
Moving outward from the center, we see the yellow band. Its attributes are illumination, wisdom, understanding, humility, cosmic consciousness, and open-mindedness. It also distinguishes between self-knowledge and Self-knowledge — the lower "s" denotes our human self, while the capital "S" represents our higher Self.
The pink ray shows mastery of love, compassion, beauty, selflessness, sensitivity, appreciation, comfort, creativity, charity, and generosity.
The violet ray focuses on freedom, mercy, forgiveness, justice, transcendence, alchemy, transmutation, diplomacy, intuition, prophecy, and revelation.
Those who have mastery of the purple and gold ray display peace, brotherhood, selfless service, right desire, balance, and harmlessness.
The green sphere expands as we gain mastery over truth, vision, holding the highest vision of oneself and others, healing, wholeness, abundance, constancy, focus, music, and science.
The blue sphere shows mastery of power, will, faith, protection, direction, courage, obedience, and strength.
We can expand each ray of our causal body through our daily service and devotion.

| 18 |  The Holy Christ Self
It is known that all energy has a frequency, or a vibratory rate, and that Spirit has a higher vibration than matter.
When souls left the plane of pure Spirit, they adapted more and more to the lower frequencies of matter and less and less to the higher frequencies of the I AM Presence.
Once in the denser realms of matter, the soul required an intercessor to mediate between Spirit and matter.
The pure stream of light from the Presence no longer had a "chalice" — a place in matter that could hold the light. It became necessary to bridge the gap in frequency between the soul, which had descended in vibration, and the I AM Presence, which remained the pure essence of God.
The mediator of this light is a level of consciousness that all the mystics of all the major world religions have identified and experienced as a level of Higher Consciousness.
In Christianity it is called the Christ Consciousness.
In Buddhism, the Buddha Consciousness.
In Hinduism, the Krishna Consciousness.
In the mystical teachings of Judaism — the Kabbalah — this level of consciousness is called Tiferet.
The ascended masters often call it the "Holy Christ Self." It is also referred to as the "higher mental body."

| 19 |  The Crystal Cord: Our Lifeline to Spirit
In the Chart of the Divine Self, the soul is represented by the lower figure.
How does the soul, now residing in a dense physical body, connect with the vast storehouse of spiritual light in her Causal Body?
The light descends to the soul through the "crystal cord," or "silver cord," illustrated by the thin white line in the chart.
Many clairvoyants throughout history have reported seeing this silvery cord with their inner sight.
The cord originates in the Father-Mother God in the Great Central Sun. It can be compared to the umbilical cord that ties a child to its mother — it is the lifeline that ties us to Spirit.
Divine light-energy flows from our Father-Mother God over the crystal cord to the I AM Presence, then continues over the cord to the soul residing in the physical body.
Before it reaches the soul, it passes through another part of our consciousness called the "Holy Christ Self," represented by the middle figure in the chart.

| 20 |  The ascended masters have given us a great tool to help us “see” what we really look like. It’s called the Chart of Your Divine Self.
The chart shows the relationship of the individual, as a soul in a physical body, to the Divine Self. And it provides a physical view of the non-physical portion of our beings.
It gives us the total picture.
The chart is a linear representation of what is actually a multidimensional manifestation of radiant, vibrating light-energy.
In reality, the lower, middle and upper figures in the chart are overlapping fields of energy vibrating at different frequencies, from denser physical energy to light-energy vibrating at a higher rate.
The Higher Self, depicted by the two upper figures in the chart, has been seen by people with highly developed spiritual sight.
Some people who have had near-death experiences and then have later seen this chart have confirmed that this is the energy field that they saw around people when they were on the other side.
Dannion Brinkley, author of the book, Saved by the Light, had three near-death experiences. He has told audiences that, in the unseen world, they look like the upper figures in this chart.
This visual tool can help explain the connection between the different components of our total being, which are both physical and spiritual.
When it is clear how all the parts interact, it is much easier to create an intimate relationship with the Higher Self.
Developing a closer relationship with this part of ourselves allows us to express more of the qualities of our divine nature in everyday interactions.
