Maldivian's De Havilland Dash8-300, registration 8Q-IAS, has officially departed the airline's fleet after more than 14 years of service across the Maldives. With 29,000 flight hours and 37,000 cycles to its name, this aircraft served as a reliable backbone of operations transporting passengers and cargo across the archipelago. Today, 8Q-IAS lifted off from Velana International Airport on its ferry flight, touching down at Gan, Addu, as its first stop before continuing the long journey ahead.
