Civil Project Manager
Location: Lagos (with travel to Abuja and other project locations as required)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Civil Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of construction and development projects across our real estate, hospitality, and investment portfolio.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, or a related discipline, with the ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate diverse stakeholders, and ensure timely project delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
This role requires a proactive professional who can effectively bridge technical execution and operational coordination while maintaining strong relationships with consultants, contractors, regulatory authorities, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee civil construction and development projects from inception to completion;
• Develop and monitor project schedules, work plans, and implementation timelines;
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with approved specifications, budgets, and quality standards;
• Track project milestones, site activities, and overall progress across multiple locations;
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.
Site & Construction Management
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines;
• Coordinate site inspections and review project performance against established targets;
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, architects, engineers, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution;
• Review technical reports, drawings, project documentation, and site progress updates;
• Support quality assurance and quality control processes throughout project delivery.
Stakeholder Coordination
• Serve as the key liaison between internal departments, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders;
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure timely execution of project deliverables;
• Manage stakeholder communications and provide regular project updates;
• Support engagement with regulatory authorities and relevant government agencies where required.
Reporting & Documentation
• Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries;
• Maintain project schedules, trackers, budgets, and documentation;
• Monitor project performance indicators and provide recommendations for improvement;
• Ensure accurate documentation of project decisions, changes, and approvals.
Operational Support
• Support the implementation of project delivery strategies and operational plans;
• Coordinate meetings, site visits, and project reviews;
• Monitor action items and follow up on commitments arising from project meetings;
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance project delivery efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, Project Management, or a related discipline;
• 3–7 years of experience managing construction, infrastructure, real estate, or development projects;
• Strong understanding of project planning, construction methodologies, and site operations;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and project management tools;
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, or related construction software is an added advantage;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities;
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously;
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
