Key Responsibilities
●Prospect, qualify, and close new business with oil & gas corporates, trading houses, and large service firms in Nigeria.
●Leverage existing relationships with majors, NNPC/NNOC partners, IOCs, indigenous upstream/midstream companies, traders, and service providers to accelerate sales.
●Develop and execute account plans and targeted strategies to meet revenue and pipeline targets.
●Lead full sales cycle: discovery, solution design, pricing, commercial negotiation, and contract closing.
●Present payments, FX (spot/forwards/options), liquidity management, and treasury platform solutions to CFOs, Treasurers, Heads of Trading, and Procurement.
●Advise clients on FX risk management tied to commodity dynamics and local currency exposure; structure hedging and execution strategies (with support while learning).
●Coordinate with Product, Risk, Legal, Operations, and Integration teams to deliver compliant, operationally sound solutions tailored to Nigerian market constraints (local currency controls, repatriation, sanctions exposure).
●Manage RFP/RFI responses, live demos, pilots, and POCs; secure internal approvals for bespoke commercial structures.
●Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasts, and account activity in CRM; report on KPIs and Nigeria-specific market intelligence.
Required Qualifications
●Minimum 7 years of directly selling oil & gas products across the industry (upstream, midstream, downstream, trading, services).
●Demonstrated, functional network and active relationships with major oil & gas players in Nigeria (majors, NOCs, IOCs, trading houses, and large service providers).
●Proven ability to manage complex, long‑cycle enterprise sales and negotiate commercial and legal terms.
●Strong commercial acumen, credibility with C‑level and treasury stakeholders, and excellent communication skills.
●Willingness and demonstrated interest to learn FX products, hedging strategies, and currency market operations rapidly.
●Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and financial modeling for deal economics.
