But Steph it doesn’t have to be either or!
Eh I think it does especially when it’s a lifelong drug associated with some side effects and literally suppresses appetite and gut motility.
Moderate exercise reduces visceral fat even if you don’t lose overall body weight.
It improves heart function, even improving heart failure.
It improves insulin and glucose handling.
Improves bone health.
Improves brain health.
Reduces stress and anxiety.
Builds or maintains lean body mass (which includes muscle).
It’s one of the most studied interventions constantly associated with reducing death from all causes.
GLP1s aren’t anything special. They force people to eat less.
For the severely obese, maybe that’s something they weigh the pros and cons on.
But for the person who wants to lose 20, 30, 40 pounds, much more of a risk and could avoid that risk by really changing a little bit of lifestyle up. Which you wound need to do anyway while on the drug.

| 3 | Here’s my definition of health…
Health is the ability to respond APPROPRIATELY, in real time, to what your body (or mind) is expressing.
You don’t want to OVER-respond and you don’t want to UNDER respond to what it’s saying to you.
The body is asking you to ENGAGE with it when it has symptoms.
And usually it’s asking us to take action now. To do something differently.
Sadly, most people do not know how to respond appropriately thus they are in a state of ill health by consequence.

| 5 | For many, autism can be a crushing medical reality full of ongoing struggles.
Maybe some families have the resources to handle these unique challenges, that’s wonderful.
Many families don’t.
“Autism has increased because we have better diagnosing”
Autism has always been diagnosed by observable behaviors, not blood tests or scans.
These core traits such as deficits in social communication, repetitive behaviors, sensory issues, aren’t subtle.
Anyone paying attention can see this has changed in just a couple generations.
If “better diagnosis” were the explanation, we’d see similar prevalence in older adults. We don’t.
“Autistic people are gifted, how dare you say it’s a crisis.”
Absolutely.
AND that truth doesn’t erase the growing number of severely affected children who need full-time care, self-injure and who won’t be able to live independently.
Unfortunately, you don’t get to determine if that IS or IS NOT a problem for them or their families.
As far as I have seen, most human beings like independence, freedom and being able to do things on their own.
So for some, it IS a big struggle.
Also there are about 30–40% who also live with intellectual disability and face very real medical and challenges.
This particular group deals with higher epilepsy rates, GI disease, sleep disorders, self-injury, and overall shorter life expectancy.
“Families don’t need more fearmongering or blame.”
Yes, there are things to blame. And we need to find them.
But let's be real. Pharma sponsors medical education and most research.
So IF there are medical treatments legitimately contributing, it’s going to be very difficult for that to be properly assessed in any real way. | 65 |

| 7 | Some people say doing an enema “isn’t natural,” and that’s why it’s “bad.”
Terrible reasoning, in my opinion.
It’s the appeal to nature fallacy, the assumption that “natural” always equals good and “unnatural” always equals bad. “It’s not natural” isn’t a real argument. Truthfully it’s a lazy one.
Wearing glasses isn’t natural. Your phone, your shoes, cooking food, living in houses, electricity, taking anything in a capsule or bottle, even simple tinctures or minerals. Clothing. The list is long.
The only question that actually matters is...does what you’re doing support the body or does it create another obstacle for it? That takes time and experimentation to know, and even then it’s often hard to say for sure because of so many variables. But it’s the best we’ve got.
After using enemas in my own health and clinically for over a decade, this is one therapy I know without a doubt is supportive in our modern age. Is it the only thing you can do? No. But it sure beats where people usually end up, the ER, surgery or life long drugs.
I’ve worked with clients carrying all kinds of labels, UC, Crohn’s, IBS, kidney disease, those with”cancer.” I don’t treat and I don’t diagnose. It’s about supporting the body’s own elimination once it becomes severely overwhelmed.
If someone was bleeding out in front of you, would you make a tourniquet to stop it? Or just let them bleed, since that’s most “natural”? The body knows how to clot on its own, after all, so why interfere?
The reality is what we’ve done to ourselves with drugs, lifestyles, diets and stress has overwhelmed most people so much that they’re bleeding out, so to speak. The enema is one form of tourniquet.
Like anything, how you do it matters. It takes understanding of the body and its real-time feedback.
The one in this video I’m doing is a Dashamula ten-root therapy, an Ayurvedic preparation. 2 tablespoons of the loose roots, boiled 15 minutes into a decoction, cooled, then used in my enema bucket. 💪✨ | 73 |

| 9 | Whole fruit (and even 100% fruit juice) does NOT “cause” fatty liver or poor health. I cannot believe we have cardiologists saying this.
He did say “overconsumption” so that parts correct but that’s true for overconsumption of anything.
Some foods do seem worse than others but you definitely don’t wanna eat too much food for your body on a regular basis - that’ll certainly lead to weight gain, visceral fat and more problems metabolically, yes.
But fruit itself is not “bad” for the heart / liver / body. It has never been shown to have a detrimental effect on any of these things. Isolated fructose in large amounts in overfeeding studies now that’s a different story and probably not a good way to go. | 129 |
| 10 | For those interested here’s the greater breakdown of how I helped out my dad with a list of “diseases.”
But as I’ve said before and always will - the biggest factor in my opinion was my dad’s ability to not be “scared” of going against what they told him. He had a strong mentality. | 292 |
| 11 | Okay...so restoring any damaged organ is straightforward - it’s our mind that makes it very complicated and hard.
The fear / the confusion / the lack of understanding in how body gives us feedback.
This is why simply following a “guide” or a “protocol” won’t cut it.
And this is why I continue to educate on HOW the body heals itself, HOW it communicates with us via symptoms and HOW to support it as it does.
Nonetheless there are things we can do (and things we shouldnt do) to help recovery of any damage to the urinary tract and or kidneys.
1. Whole foods, real foods diet. I lean towards higher carb (fruits and veggies) plus some protein and lower fat.
So you’re talking all fruits, veggies, some beans, quality plant or animal proteins, organ meats, and even a little complex carbs and starches like some organic rice and potatoes are okay to keep you sane.
The main thing is lots of fruits and vegetables for the hydration and mineral content.
2. Non toxic pure water (get yourself a water filter of some kind). No, the cheap ones won’t do.
3. Hydrate much more than you’re likely doing. Eat your minerals with your fruits but then get in at least a couple L of plain water per day for a period of time to flush things through.
4. Quality herbs are really helpful especially for those who are used to “taking” something.
5. Weight loss is critical if there is excess body fat and visceral fat.
6. Movement. If not strong enough to lift weights or do other things, walking every single day is absolutely needed. My dad after a few months out of the ICU was doing 4-5 miles per day outside just around the neighborhood.
These are the bare minimum goals.
He healed himself with zero money, no job and we did very simply things to get him back up and going again. Cost me about 200-250 bucks a month for these things. Plus his groceries of course.
Bodies can recover and improve. This has been shown over and over again. | 244 |

| 13 | What they CAN say is some version of the following IMO ...
“look this is what we offer, this is what we do all day everyday, we don’t see people get off because in the few incidents we never see them again.
But what we can say is that the people we see remain on it and then either stay on it or get a transplant.
We don’t know what’s possible for you, we don’t know if you did other things if they would help you or not. We don’t study people who get dialysis versus those who do other non conventional treatments. ..”
That is what they can sincerely say and that’s fine.
if you recover or not will be solely up to you and your willingness to do somethings that they will have no understanding of.
And what’s worse is they will overstep and often tell you that it “won’t help” simply because they have no experience with it.
Or they will tell you that you’ll die type stuff. That’s the issue I take and that’s what happened to my dad repeatedly while in that system. And that’s not okay. They don’t have the backing even in the research to say that.
Now I think it’s fair to say what you have genuinely experienced or seen professionally and any patterns seen so someone can take that info if they want but that’s it. | 153 |

| 15 | The field of nephrology, as it relates to kidney disease and kidney failure, is a bit of a racket.
The nephrologists make their rounds in the ICU, scooping up the patients with worsening kidney function, putting them on dialysis 3x/week and funneling them onto transplant lists.
They very rarely if ever take people off.
When I called the nephrologist’s office and told the receptionist we were done with dialysis and needed to get the catheter removed, he paused and said “wait, what? that doesn’t happen, congratulations!”
I spent months trying to get second opinions and “trials of therapy” before this.
They wouldn’t do it or they’d placate me by saying they’d order more labs or a 24 hour urine if he started producing enough urine.
Well, the issue is (and perhaps a bit of a trick now that I know how this works ) you can’t typically produce enough urine if you’re being dialyzed 3x/week.
Like oncology, they insist their dialysis or transplant interventions are the “only way,” even when the “survival benefit” is weaker than they admit and they never test whether the body can recover on its own.
No RCTs on standard dialysis versus none.
Yep, unethical they say.
But as any recovery, it usually only works as well as the person does.
Dad still struggles with his old habits which just like all of us is always difficult to really let go of.
He’s actively revisiting the same changes he did back then to get himself back on track as we speak.
I’m not telling you what’s possible for you, I’m telling you what’s possible for bodies. Not medical advice as your situation will always be unique to you. | 137 |
| 16 | While I was in the ICU with my dad in 2022/2023, I learned something. | 116 |
| 17 | CARBIES!
Carb haters are hungry and they are spewing lies out of that physiologic anger. 🙃 | 155 |
| 18 | Skin oiling (Abhyanga)
Your oil glands cluster in the “seborrheic” zones, so that’s face, scalp, chest, and upper back. Those are the areas to really pay attention to when you do this.
Most people neglect their head, mostly because they don’t want to wash the oil back out, but definitely do the head.
And it’s no wonder so many struggle with overall head drainage (recurring head colds and sinus issues), breakouts, and thinning hair. That’s one of the oiliest, most active surfaces on the body.
Same with the feet. In Ayurveda the feet are a reflection of the entire body and it’s another area most people neglect entirely.
Something else I’ve noticed over the years is the “anti-aging” edge. This reduces moisture loss, and skin that holds its moisture stays looking fresh and supple far longer. In the literature it’s called transepidermal water loss, and these oils help keep moisture in the upper skin layer.
Lastly, this therapy is considered deeply supportive for the nervous system in Ayurveda. And a small study backed that up.
Abhyanga significantly lowered subjective stress and heart rate AND it dropped blood pressure in the participants who were already prehypertensive.
How I do it:
- Warm the oil first by sitting your glass bottle in a bowl of hot water.
- Use organic cold pressed or expeller pressed sesame or coconut.
- Do short strokes, medium pressure, EVERY area you can reach.
- Always get your entire feet, every time.
- Get your scalp at least once a week.
- Let it sit 15 minutes.
- wash it off in warm shower with a non toxic soap (even better in ocean).
- Get most of the oil off, including scalp and feet.
- You’re washing away what the oil lifted off you.
Pat dry.
- The thin layer left behind keeps sealing some moisture in

Your joint pain, arthritis, and gout aren't joint problems, they're your kidneys backing up and dumping waste into low-circulation areas like your joints.
Fix the kidneys and the joints follow.
