| 10 | A person should leave off doubts. If he leaves of that which is certain and entertains doubts. Can fall into doubt in his religion. He can leave himself open to the whispering of shaytaan. So a person should be certain in his affair as Allah revealed his Quran to make things clear. | 272 |
| 11 | With the believers - they are pleased with ayaat and they withhold upon speaking and debating.
And we’ve been warned about argumentation and disputing. And what’s one individual is tasleem (submission). | 273 |
| 12 | The next point summarised: author states - there is no matter of heresy, kufr, bid’ah in the deen except that it’s come from the people of kalaam (rhetoric) and the people of debate. | 268 |
| 13 | Next Point : the believers who will see Allah in Jannah and will see him directly | 264 |
| 14 | The one who is guided has hatred to turn to kufr. Just as one would hate to be thrown into hell fire.
Every soul shall taste death.
So a person doesn’t have a hatred of death. Because it’s the way a person returns to Allah. What they do hate is to return to kufr. | 254 |
| 15 | This is at the time of death. As the messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) explained - The believer is given glad tidings at the time of death. So then a believer loves to meet Allah and a Kaafir hates to meet Allah (due to the tidings given of punishment). | 231 |
| 16 | Next narration: Whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him. | 230 |
| 17 | Three things follow the deceased. His his family, his wealth and his actions. Two things remain, and one returns. His family and wealth returns, but his actions stay with him.
These actions are both types: righteous and evil. | 257 |
| 18 | A person may then exit the hellfire due to punishment which is purification. Or the shafaa- intercession and Allahs mercy. | 257 |
| 19 | Tawbah: is the best way of purification. Regret is a way of seeing that tawbah.
As for if a person has oppressed an individual. He should return that right to the individual. | 231 |
| 20 | Whatever the person had at that point is cut off.
So if a person dies upon shirk so that’s what he is upon.
And if a person died upon a sin before he made tawbah, then he under the will of Allah in terms of punishment. And that punishment would be a purification. | 216 |
